I'm looking forward to the match with my favorite team, Bayern Munich. They will face RB Leipzig. Looking at it objectively, Bayern Munich is still better than Leipzig in terms of team quality and expertise. Bayern Munich is getting closer to the risk of missing out on the championship for the first time. After losing 3 consecutive matches in all competitions, Bayern's goal is now no longer the title but the honor of the team. They have been a shadow of themselves this season and are in desperate need of an immediate revival. They have played poor defense over the past month and will need to build a strong front going into this match. If you don't quickly regain your spirit to get good results in the game against Leipzig. I don't know what words can describe how bad the team I admire is.

The first goal from Xhaka is fantastic and can be a best goal in Xhaka's career. It opened the match for Leverkusen but later they let Mainz equalized the match and even faced with a second conceded goal by a mistake from their defenders.

Leverkusen luckily got a second goal by a bad save from Mainz's goalkeeper and got three points. Generally in this match Leverkusen did not create enough pressure on Mainz and did not have many opportunities to find goals.

After all challenges from Mainz, Leverkusen ended the match very well with a maximum 3 points and made a new record for German football with 33 unbeatable matches.

I have to say those 2 goals were really classy has accuracy and power so it failed to be anticipated by the goalkeeper, this victory will strengthen Leverkusen's position at the top of the standings and still holds an undefeated record. Will Leverkusen write new history as a team that has never been defeated in the Bundesliga and won the title? I've checked it over the last 9 seasons and no other team in the Bundesliga can do it so if Leverkusen can do that then they will make new history. Xabi Alonso as a coach certainly gets a lot of praise and a reputation as a top coach.

Despite Leverkusen's victory, I am still speechless about the beautiful goal scored by Xhaka in the opening minutes. The ball was so hard but also curved sharply that it went over the back of the Mainz goalkeeper and I think it was a very clever goal. However, after scoring the goal, I was shocked to see Xhaka feeling pain in his leg and celebrating with his teammates and even making everyone panic on the bench, in fact it was just a gimmick and I immediately laughed watching the celebration.

However, I was also very impressed with the figure of Xabi Alonso and when his team was still deadlocked considering the score was still tied at 1-1, he finally changed his strategy and entered
Schick in the second half which ultimately changed the rotation of several of his players. The result, as we can see, was that it wasn't long before Leverkusen scored the second goal and even though Mainz got a red card in the 80th minute, it couldn't change the result because Leverkusen was already narrowly ahead and they just needed to hold on until the final minute. Well, 11 points guys and Bayern Munich is really done this time.

Where is Munich's problem from? That's one question their fans would really need answers about. The end part of this season is seeming tough for them already and it's a huge reproach to the name they've established for themselves, their aims and objectives too as regards competitions this season. Out of the blue, Leverkusen are now outshining the once dreaded German team, although it brings life to football but it's not a leisure to them having unending game setbacks in the results. Tuchel is a tactical coach and it's expected that he corrects these errors. In the beginning, it all started well but shaky still and at least they weren't in deep mess as they are now. It only seems very difficult now for them to bounce back to their rightful stance too.

Three games recently have seen them pay a costly price as they embraced losses. This affects their mental and physical approach to subsequent games. It's understandable if a huge amount of confidence is lost in this team as they're now less predictable to come out victorious in games. Barely 10-12 weeks left this season and their drawbacks is likely going to cost them to relinquish both the UCL and the Bundesliga trophies. This season is certainly not the best so far for them. Maybe it's just their turn to suffer setbacks though. But is it possible that a switch in managerial body will make the right difference? There are options around for them to select from and let's be hopeful that this condition won't hold up unto the next season too as it'll be perilous. There's still a gleam of hope and chance in the German side though but the odds are very very slim and let's just pray that they end up being lucky because truthfully their opponents ahead are very much unfriendly.
Beginning of Bayern Munich problems began when they suffered crushing defeat against Leverkusen, this defeat made all the players feel disappointed and seemed to have lost their enthusiasm to be able to perform optimally.
After that, they had problem with player being given red card in the next match, this was clearly heavy blow for Bayern Munich because they were the most successful team and one of the strongest teams throughout the season.
Problems like this trigger the quality of play to decline quite significantly, this is not an unobjective statement but is indeed the right statement from point of view on big club like Bayern Munich.
Just see, if in the future they experience the same thing then can be sure that they will not have the opportunity to win the Bundesliga title this season and they will accept that Leverkusen is indeed entitled to the title that is being contested.
Now only time can tell, whether Tuchel is able to bring about change by fixing Bayern Munich so that it can return to its optimal performance or not in the future.

If it was just defeat in the Bundesliga competition then it wouldn't be complicated problem, but the problem is that they also lost in the UCL competition and of course this had big impact on the self-confidence of all the players.
Isn't Bayern Munich big and strong team, in fact they are able to always appear impressive every season, but now Bayern Munich has to be faced with problems that may be more difficult to solve.
I don't know why conditions like this can happen and what they face really makes many people feel shocked or unable to believe it.

Bayern Leverkusen has been performing well since the start of this season, and they deserve the Bundesliga title as a reward for their hard work. Bayern Leverkusen won Mainz 2-1 to maintain their perfect lead in the Bundesliga table. With this 2-1 win, Bayern Leverkusen is leading Bayern Munich by 11 points.

The win over Mainz set a new record for Leverkusen. They managed to surpass the record held by Bayern Munich. With Flick munchen never lost in 32 season matches 2020/2021. With Xabi, Currently Leverkusen has been with 33 matches without losing. Of course this victory is enough to make the point gap wider. Meanwhile for Bayern Munich, they need a miracle to catch Leverkusen's points.  Grin

I would have agreed with you that eight points is nothing if Bayern Munich were consistent in winning their matches to close the gap between them and Bayern Leverkusen at the top of the Bundesliga table. Bayern Munich made a mistake by allowing Bayern Leverkusen to beat them when they met a few weeks ago. It was the only way that Bayern Munich could have reduced the chance of Bayern Leverkusen winning the Bundesliga title this season.

Did you really believe that Bayern would have a chance to overtake Leverkusen for the top the league table if they win in their remaining game? I don't think that will happen. Did you really think Leverkusen would lose any of their next games and Bayern Munich wins the ones they still have left? I think Leverkusen will play better than Bayern Munich if they are playing at their best to win, and maintain their current position to win the title this season. The eight points are important because without them, they wouldn't have to lead the league. However, since Bayern Munich has missed their chances this season. In my opinion, nothing will be right again, it's already late.

In their previous game against Bochum, Bayern Munich had a chance to reduce the point differential with Leverkusen, but the result did not turn out as we had anticipated. Tuchel is to blame for all of this at Bayern Munich; they have lost to a weak team that we weren't expecting them to lost to, which has cost them many chances to stay in the title race with Leverkusen.

In fact, from the start I really doubted that Leverkusen could successfully occupy the top position in the Bundesliga this season, but in fact they are the ones who deserve it so far, not Bayern or Dortmund. Becoming an unbeatable team like Leverkusen is not easy, even Bayern themselves have lost several times.
In a few hours Leverkusen will face Mainz, on paper the chance of Leverkusen winning is 77% while Mainz is only 8%. Mainz are currently fighting to get out of the relegation zone, they will certainly try hard to win this match but Leverkusen will not be upset about losing, especially since the match will take place at the BayArena stadium.

The victory over Mainz 2-1 make Xabi Alonso success break out new German record for consecutive until 33 matches all competition without losses, its great achievement for less experience manager such as Alonso only need two season to break out Bayern Munich record have existing for longer time. The additional three points make Bayern Leverkusen closer to getting the Bundesliga title this season remaining 11 points left from Bayern Munich who have tough match this week against RB Leipzig.

Regarding with 11 points left, seems Bayern Leverkusen only need 8 winning matches left for winning the Bundesliga tittle in this season if Bayern Munich not losses points yet. Xabi Alonso have more closer forward for winning Bundesliga trophy than Bayern Munich and they have take three points on every matches left.
This crazy can really be said to be crazy by a manager of the class of Xabi Alonso because he proved to everyone that he really has extraordinary abilities in building an average club into an undefeated club so far this season, and this is a very rare event because No matter how strong a club is throughout the season, they will definitely experience defeat, either one or two matches, but until now Leverkusen has not experienced its first defeat, even big clubs such as Bayern Munich, Leipzig and Dortmund have not managed to break Leverkusen's winning record and make Leverkusen stand firmly at the top. standings with a big points advantage over Bayern Munich.

There are still a few matches left in the Bundesliga, if Leverkusen is able to maintain their club's winning record, then he should be given the award as the best manager in Germany and that is very worthy, especially if he is able to provide 2 important trophies for Leverkusen, namely the European League trophy and also the domestic league trophy. become a coach that Leverkusen is very proud of and he will have a brilliant career as a very talented young coach, if Xabi Alonso can handle Leverkusen like this what if he handles a big club of course he won't have such a tough task because big clubs have good performance strong so Xabi Alonso not really working optimally and to be honest I want to see him coach Bayern Munich.

Laverkusen vs Mainz 05 was an interesting match and Laverkusen won 2-1. Mainz 05 leveled the game in the first half but after conceding another goal in the second half, they were unable to attack and succeed, leading to a last-gasp loss. Laverkusen is currently the best and strongest team in the German Bundesliga, they are currently at the top of the points table as one of the most interesting teams this season. Moreover, Laverkusen is a strong team that no team has been able to beat so far, they are still undefeated and at the top of the points table. Laverkusen played 23 matches successfully won all the matches however they might be champions and win the title this season. There is currently no team to compete with them in the Bundesliga, as Bayan Munich is still 11 points behind the only team that can compete in the points table.
Leverkusen won it and they now are 11 points in front of Bayern Munich. This match also helps Leverkusen to make a new record in Germany football history as a club with longest unbeaten record. They have had 33 matches without any loss in all competition and are going straight in Bundesliga to lift its title. In UEFA Europa League, they will have a round of 16 matches and are aiming at a massively successful season.

They are not too far from Bundesliga title and need to be maximize points in next several matches to win Bundesliga as soonest as possible to focus more on Europa League.

These people are nothing but raving mad. Isn't it same thing that happened to Luis Suarez? It'll take timw and when it does, fighting for it was what Luiz Suarez.
There's no curse with Harry Kane, rather I'd say it's Tottenham Hotspur. Before he played for Tottenham Hotspur how many trophies have they finally won? Nothing, Correct? So it's got nothing to do with Harry Kane and whatever bullshit they have to say.

Tough game for both of them as they have to prepare for the Champions League clash between Lazio and also Manchester City. Bayern Munich are right now favorites anyways for the game you know.
Xabi Alonso was hell excited for the goal scored by Xhaka!
Bayer Leverkusen had a narrow escape against Mainz today. None of us saw this coming, really a challenging game for Leverkusen but they finally break through with making 2-1 on the scoresheet. Xabi Alonso keeps making good unbeaten runs this season and he's aiming to lift the Bundesliga with unbeaten runs, that particular record he's maintaining will boost his stats as a coach and also the team. Before we would know it, elite teams all over Europe will trap in for his signature and making gigantic offer. But the Xabi Alonso we all know will reject every single one of them and focused on building Leverkusen.

Leverkusen go 11 points clear by beating Mainz 2-1 tonight.

Alonso is my number 1 preference to succeed Klopp at Anfield.

Unbeaten

Alonso is cooking.
Alonso is actually cooking, his coaching pattern is very good and well recommendable for other teams because he is such an amazing and talented young manager that is here to change some narratives in football management system, he can do more of this from all indications.

He is one of the nominees to replace Klopp at Anfield and he will be a perfect replacement that can do more than what Klopp did because he started well and he is about to keep records in the Bundesliga.
Xabi Alonso could receive offers from several teams at once, if at the end of the season Leverkusen succeeds in winning the Bundesliga, Europa League and DFB Pokal trophies, or it could be one of these three trophies. The recent victory over Mainz is an easy result to predict, because Mainz is a club that is currently in the relegation zone. The strategy and tactics implemented by Xabi Alonso worked perfectly, the third minute goal scored by Granit Xhaka made the match easier, because the Mainz players mentality became chaotic. The final score of 2-1 is not bad to get three points for Leverkusen, and Mainz is still languishing at the bottom of the standings.

I really agree if Xabi Alonso becomes Jurgen Klopp successor next season, that is a challenge worthy of being taken by any coach, including Xabi Alonso. Different league competitive levels will provide different nuances of competition, in the Premier League Xabi Alonso will face more than five big clubs, and it will not be easy to surpass Jurgen Klopp reputation at Anfield. It is rumored that Bayern Munich is also interested in recruiting the Leverkusen coach, but it all really depends on what trophies he wins this season with Leverkusen.

The match is over and Leverkunsen managed to score a tough win today against Mainz. Currently Leverkusen has a difference of 11 points over Bayern Munich and this might make Leverkusen more comfortable at the top of the standings. Munich is suffering and seems to be failing in the Bundesliga this season, some say this is Kane's curse.

Bayern Munich will host Leipzig for the next match. Leipzig are in good form ahead of this important match, they are also very motivated to win after having 3 matches without defeat. This might be a tough test for Bayern Munich after suffering 2 consecutive defeats in the Bundesliga, but the probability of their victory is still very high.

These people are nothing but raving mad. Isn't it same thing that happened to Luis Suarez? It'll take timw and when it does, fighting for it was what Luiz Suarez.

Those two goals indeed I'd say are beautiful. Granit Xhaka's celebration was also mind blowing. Such a beautiful celebration for a beautiful goal.

That second goal was the goalies blunder, he should have done better. This would not be taken likely amongst the staff's. Mainz fought back into the game but it's not how far bit how well.

I loved Xhaka's goal. I heard the commentator said it was his first ever Bundesliga goal and he scored and celebrated with style. For the second goal, the goalie was becoming too confident in his capabilities and that confidence failed him. I know he got very crucial saves for his team in both halves especially the first but he took his head out of the game for a bit and he was caught off guard by that Andrich strike.

Overall, it was a good game and I applaud Mainz for their strong performance today. Even with the red card, they still put the pressure on Leverkusen.

Now I can't wait for Xabi Alonso to take over from Klopp. It would be interesting to see what beasts he would make out of players like Trent, Jones, Nunez and even Gakpo.
Granit Xhaka's goal in the Bayer Leverkusen German Bundesliga game against Mainz tonight was without doubt a worldie but the celebration that accompanied that goal tells how important the goal was to him. Bayer Leverkusen's second goal of the match was scored by Ngankam but he needed a little bit of help from the goalkeeper to score the goal if you ask me however, it change the fact that the home side got the most important statistics of the night which is the scoreline that guarantees them three points from the game. As a potential champion, there are games your team might not deserve to win probably because of their performance in that very game but you end up winning it with some bits of luck but that doesn't change the fact that your team have been outstanding all season.

Xabi Alonso who's been earmarked as the potential successor of Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool has proven beyond every reasonable doubt that he is absolutely capable of managing the Reds next season should he get the chance and I don't think Liverpool management would want anything that'll stop him from becoming the next Liverpool manager after German manager Jurgen Klopp

Alonso is cooking.
What I admire about Leverkusen is their unbeatable toughness in the Bundesliga. So, when discussing Xabi Alonso, he is now a hot topic of conversation about his future and previously he was linked with Real Madrid but that failed after Real Madrid still remained with Ancelotti. Now another moment has come for a very great job because Jurgen Kloop will resign from Liverpool at the end of this season and the strongest candidate to replace him is Xabi Alonso. My assumption is that Alonso really loves Liverpool and of course he would really appreciate the offer to become Liverpool's new coach next season. But for now he is still focused on Leverkusen and all his thoughts for now are only on Leverkusen.

Bayern Munich are also reportedly starting to approach Xabi Alonso to tempt him to become their coach for next season. Seeing Bayern munich behavior, of course they want to dominate the Bundesliga with their dominance because star players in the Bundesliga are always their targets, as are the coaches. But I don't think Xabi Alonso will betray Leverkusen because if he wants to leave then the next team will be a team from another league like Liverpool.

We can see in stark contrast the difference in performance between the two teams at the moment, Leverkusen is still untouched by a single defeat, and currently Xabi's fleet is at the top of the points table, while Mainz is at the bottom of the standings. On paper, Leverkusen will easily secure full points, because they also act as hosts, an additional 3 points will confirm their ambition to be the best in the Bundesliga this season. Mainz need a miracle to beat Leverkusen, in fact I don't think the match will end in a draw. Betting on Leverkusen winning will be very safe, their winning percentage is very high. The lineup has been confirmed, and we will see how Xabi and his fleet maintain their record until the 23rd week.
Funny enough, Mainz mayn't look threatening but I remember sometime when they gave the almighty Bayern a shocker and this could have been the same fate for Bayer tonight had they not showed excellent performance and control. At some point on the game, especially after they equalized, you would notice they began matching the hosts touch for touch and it was like they knew they had nothing to lose since they were very beneath Bayer Leverkusen but decided to ruin the night for the hosts as is typical of small teams.
Bayer Leverkusen in tonight's game were a typical example of class and finesse, even though they conceded they kept pushing till they got the winning goal.
Quote
On the other hand, Bayern will face Leipzig, which is actually stronger than Bochum. If Bayern lose points again, Leverkusen will be in a very comfortable position in leading the Bundesliga standings in the remaining matches ahead.
Now this is the pressure I was talking about. We know the bitter rivalry between Bayern Munich and Leipzig and they'll need a special pattern of play to be able to get past 5th placed Leipzig who would be looking desperately to get the three points to be able to leapfrog above Dortmund even if temporarily so that game tomorrow will be tight.

Bayer Leverkusen have won four of their last five games and this goes to show they are in form, currently they are sitting at the top spot with 58 points and passing Bayern Munich with 8, who have 50 points. Some will say they have enough gap between them but I feel if they want to eliminate any form of competition, they dont need to take any game lightly, starting with this one because the more they win, more pressure will be added on Bayern Munich and they will be desperate to get a win and we know that sometimes, that forces a team to make mistakes to either lose or draw a game.
Although Bayer Leverkusen are the clear favorites of this game, upsets can happen that is why they should not underestimate any team no matter how small. This game will be packed with goals but should be an easy win for Bayer Leverkusen.

Bayern Munich is a team that fights until the last second. There have been many games and championships in the past that they only won at the last second. Even if many people think that the teams mentality has changed, it does not matter. Because every team in the Bundesliga will also fight until the last second if they still can achieve something. Leverkusen must not rest on their laurels. They have to think from game to game.
Bayern may be a team who are ready to battle to the last minute but I don't think they will be able to pull that feat this season. As it stands now Bayer Leverkusen has eleven points more than them and I don't think they will be able to be stopped: a club that has 18 wins 4 draws and no loss yet is a team Bayern will have to give up the title race gladly to, don't you think?
I strongly believe Xabi Alonso's men can do better than just topping the log and carrying the cup if they maintain this consistency and see each game as the last till it's over.

Bayer Leverkusen have extended their lead with 11 points. Now Bayern München have a very difficult match. If they fail to get 3 points against RB Leipzig, the points difference will be very serious. At this rate, Bayer Leverkusen could be crowned champions in 5-6 weeks. With Stuttgart coming from behind, even second place could be in jeopardy for Bayern. For a club that has been champion 11 times in a row, it was expected to reach a saturation point at some point, this season is not surprising to me. To be honest, I'm also very happy to see Leverkusen on the rise.
