The money that raised from selling haaland and bellingham being used to paid its expenses. The profit can be considered as good enough but it's not as big as you said. It's been reported by dortmund's financial report.
Dortmund is trying to hunt another young talented player to be developed again. I think that you will be seeing some names to join in the dortmund soon. Some names being targeted by the club this time.
In Europe, Dortmund are like Porto and Sevilla which have very good scout teams so that they can find many youth talented players around the world especially from Latin American nations and African nations to buy when those youth players are very cheap. Then they grow those players up and turn them to be star players and sell those new rising star players with expensive prices.

In the last twenty years, Dortmund are very successful with this strategy and they maintain it with acceptable good results in Bundesliga and Champions League. Obviously with this strategy, they are unable to win Bundesliga too often and especially unable to win Champions League. Anyway, winning big titles are not their priorities.
Agree with you that winning trophies is not a priority for Dortmund, recruiting young talents with lower market value is their specialty and then selling them at high prices, this will give Dormund a big advantage. What doesn't make sense to me the most is that they like to sell their players to rival clubs like Munchen. You can imagine how disappointed their fans were to see the direction of the club's policy with such a business style.

sometimes I think Bayern Munchen can win the Bundesliga Trophy without getting significant resistance from other clubs in the domestic league. However the fact that Dortmund is a club with a tradition of selling their star players and that has stuck with them is very convincing.
I think it's high time Borussia Dortmund's management comes to terms with the fact that football success isn't measured by strategic a club can be by signing young promising and talented players, develop them and sell them to clubs with higher financial strength including their local rivals Bayern Munich.
Rather football success is measured by the number of trophies that's won by a club. Dortmund must learn how to keep these players they develop, grow them in to a formidable team that'll be very competitive not just in Germany but also in Europe.

We wouldn't have seen Borussia Dortmund fight to the end if they didn't prioritize the Bundesliga last season, the fact that every team include Dortmund has an above average desire to win the Bundesliga trophy after so long. By winning the league they will find it easier to benefit from various sides such as sponsorship, increase the market value of the players register in it, and so on.
I think Borussia Dortmund really prioritized the Bundesliga last season and this was proven by the number of points they had and the resistance they showed in every game so that their rivals like Bayern Munich also experienced heavy pressure to win the title in the Bundesliga even though in the end Borussia Dortmund also had to lose by goal difference to Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. This is what I see so Borussia Dortmund are really serious in pursuing the championship in the Bundesliga last season.

Leipzig are also not so differen than Dortmund when it comes to vision. Otherwise as you said Leipzig are normally a rich team that can be quite convincing to sign better names by offering more money. It won't be easy to compete with Bayern Munich regularly anyway of course. Because it will take them a quite much time to build as good squad as Bayern Munich's. Besides there will be some time needed to have full chemistry among the players as well. Besides it doesn't end there either.

Management of a team is the most important thing for successes. If the owners don't have a good understanding of management then it is still quite difficult to achieve big things.

Leipzig gets me excited quite often because everyone would think that they use their RedBull billions to elevate the club to the top of the table in no time, but they are not doing that. Could they do it? Well, I still think it is hard to believe that they became so dominant in a sport like the Formula 1 when they are competing with all those car manufacturers, so they could probably get RB Leipzig jump-started even more with their cash, but they don't. Neverthless, they are one of the toughest competitors for Bayern Munich without making these billionaire club moves. They received a lot of disrespect from the public, but since they never abused their financial superiority and yet played successful they became one of my favorite German teams.

Dortmund strategy of using player resale to achieve financial success is debatable and some may think it takes away from the spirit of the game. But there is no denying that their approach has paid off enabling them to challenge Bayern Munich for first place. Dortmund inclusion among the contenders brings an intriguing dynamic to the football environment even though many supporters desire teams who put sporting success before financial success. It will be interesting to observe how other teams respond to the changing landscape of the game as they attempt to challenge Bayern hegemony and possibly shift Dortmund standing.

I think their approach is mainly good for the financial situation of the club but for the longterm development in terms of competitiveness and success of the team it is not really great in my opinion. Dortmund is buying young and promising players from the biggest clubs where those players don't have a chance to play regularly yet. In Dortmund they can play and if they are doing great their market value increases significantly like for example in the case of Erling Haaland or Jude Bellingham. Then Dortmund sells those players with a huge profit, which is great for their financials. It is not good for the quality of the squad though obviously and for example in the coming season Dortmund does not have a single world class player anymore because Hummels and Reus are getting old.
In the long term it is really bad if Borussia dortmund always does this because there are no reliable players or senior players who can bring Dortmund to win trophies and titles in the champions league or European league.
However, this has become the hallmark of Borussia Dortmund looking for academic players and educating them until they have strong new talents like Haaland after that they are sold and looking for young players again to be given directions to become reliable players and sold again.
Maybe this is Dortmund's strategy to get used to getting reliable players by scoring themselves instead of wasting a lot of money just for top players who don't guarantee a good contribution in the future.
I am sure that in the future Borussia dortmund will show its strength when it is serious about getting trophies in several big leagues without selling its best players

The Bundesliga League has not been very competitive because other teams apart from Bayern Munich and Dortmund don't spend money to sign quality players into their club,  last season Dortmund performance was terrible,  they were able to compete with Bayern Munich because Bayern Munich was not in good form . Bayern Munich is just only the team that are doing things accordingly to still have a quality performance and to win trophies.  I consider every other team as not yet ready to win trophies,  because if team like Dortmund is interested to win  trophy I think they will work towards it and do things the right way.
If we consider how "rich" leipzig is, they should be up there fighting for a top spot as well but they keep failing. They end up raising good players and selling them and making profit, but they already should have a good profit and money in the bank.

So if they really really wanted to, and not just have a sustainable football culture, they could spend a ton, like hundreds of millions of dollars, in that case they would get all the great players and build a team that could get the title. For some reason they prefer this system better, not winning anything, but always around the top, like top 10 guaranteed for them, top 5 not a shocker, and not losing much money neither, that's how they keep doing it for the time.

This is Dortmund in all its glory, when the most important thing is to earn money not by winning titles, but by reselling other people's young talented players. This strategy is flawed in its essence and ugly, but still sometimes continues to bring results, and therefore, more often, Dortmund, surprisingly enough, even ranks first after Bayern Munich. I still hope that there will be other normal clubs that will really try to surpass Bayern in the fight for titles and Borussia Dortmund will be eliminated from the list of contenders for high places.

For now, if Bayern Munich gets Harry Kane who now does not sign a contract with Tottenham and wants to move to Bayern Munich if the fee would be settled for both camps recently Tottenham's Daniel Levy has said that they will agree with the transfer of Bayern Munich replace Harry Kane with 2 players and if Bayern Munich would agree to this kind of transfer then Harry Kane is good as a Bayern Munich players on the Bundesliga

Well, there is no team that may come close to Bayern Munich as Dortmund only for sure many are still making their move on creating a team that can get close to Bayern Munich for sure but there is no team that can surely Surpass what Dortmund has achieved in the last season they almost become the new champion of the Bundesliga League,

I don't know but i would not really say that Bayern Munich has underperformed that much in the last years. Yes they have only reached the quarterfinals in the last 3 seasons but we should not forget, that in the Champions League it is not enough to be the better team in general you also always need the right timing and a bit of luck on your side. Even in the last season they were definitely not the worse team against Manchester City. They were even dominating in the first 70 minutes of the first leg before Upamecano made that huge mistake which lead to the 2-0 for ManCity and which basically meant that Bayern was knocked out. I think it is only a of days or weeks until Sadio Mane will go to a club in Saudi Arabia or in the MLS.

Bayern Munich is doing fine in the UEFA Champions League winning every game on Julian Naggelsman's wing but a sudden turn of events will surely pull the chance of Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League for sure and that has changed halfway through their coach, and then their gameplay have changed as well and losing that Manchester City game was something that even the chemistry of the team collapses aswell,

Yes indeed, one of the ways that might work for Dortmund to win the Bundesliga trophy of course, it seems only enough to keep the main players from leaving. In this way, at least Dortmund will have a better chance of being consistently at the top of the Bundesliga standings until the end. But yes, because maybe Dortmund already have standards in managing their club, it seems it will be difficult for Dortmund to retain key players they has. Because of course, when the player is in demand by another club and the club is willing to pay expensive, then maybe Dortmund will no longer be able to keep the player and are ready to let him go.

I'm not sure if Dortmund is doing the right thing because we know making money from selling younger players is a good move and they can use the money to achieve their goals and they can help the younger talents to grow but like that, they are losing the title in Gundesliha every season.

As soon as Bellingham went to Real Madrid, I'm sure Dormound got a smaller chance to win the title compared to the last season when they were racing Bayern Munich for the title.

As Dortmund usually did in previous seasons, they did not aim to compete in the race for the Bundesliga trophy. their main goal, still finish in the top four of the Bundesliga. thus, Dortmund will still participate in Europe's top elite league scene. they just want to show that they still exist and are consistent even though they don't win any trophies. plus, creating talent and young talent. as for last season, the turmoil that occurred at Bayern Munich made Dortmund able to compete closely in the race for the trophy. Too bad, the opportunity in front of their eyes wasted.

In the 2023/2024 season, it is not certain that Dortmund will be able to compete like the previous season. now that the summer transfer window has opened, I rarely even hear news rumors regarding the recruitment that Dortmund is doing. So far, all I know is Felix Nmecha, who they brought in from Wolfbursg. As for another player, Ramy Bensebaini, who was obtained on a free transfer.  the rest, Dortmund still has Haller, Moukoko, and several other young players. so, don't expect that Dortmund will compete with Bayern Munich. but ideally, Dortmund still has two players who are the next star candidates namely, Moukoko and Karim Adeyemi.  at least, these two players could be the target of other clubs in the transfer window next season.

That's why way for the club is to exist in the bundesliga. The trophies seem not to become the main target. Dortmund has been also selling one of its important player to the bayern again. There are some potential clubs in bundesliga like leipzig who potentially compete with bayern. The only problem if domination from bayern was making bundesliga look like a farmer league. DFL was not allowing broad investors to come. I think that if the rules being changed and it will be also ending the domination by dortmund in bundesliga.
Bundesliga will have new investors who's gonna buy the small club and make it bigger. The rules that being made by DFL was only giving advantage to the bayern.

Teams have begun to concentrate more on their matches in order to end the Bayern Munich hegemony. There were matches where even small teams challenged Bayern last year. If it continues like this this year, it could be another difficult year for Bayern. However, if there is a truth in the Bundesliga, it is that the champion of the league is determined almost before the league starts, and that team is Bayern Munich. Hopefully this year we can see that change.

Kim Min-Jae was a magnificent player last season, he played for the eventual champions and he was a great reason why they won as well because he locked the best players down very well. I am not saying this is the type of player that can go to UCL and lock Haaland and Mbappe, that "may" not happen, which it could too, but I could easily say that he is a much better defender than what Bundesliga requires and that's why I believe that they are going to be doing fine.

I believe that we are going to see him be a beast at Bayern and Tuchel will efficiently use him. He is also young as well, which means that he could play maybe like another 10 years for them as well, that should be possible and they can get the most out of him.
By bringing in Kim Min Jae, of course Bayern Munich knows very well the problems he faced last season and one of them is the defensive position. Therefore, with Kim Min Jae, it is hoped that he can strengthen Bayern Munich's defense next season. I think the bad results in the bundesliga last season must also be a priority that must be addressed so that Bayern Munich is more consistent with a strong defense because it is very unfortunate if they often get consecutive draws like last season which allowed Dortmund to catch up with the difference in points.

As for the champions league, I think that even if Bayern Munich faces other strong teams they will try to stop every attack from their key players and I think they with the current squad are quite capable of dealing with that. I think every player must be based on a more mature character so they can be more motivated not to give up under any circumstances.

After Sadio Mane left Liverpool and joined Bayern Munich, it is quite obvious Liverpool are struggling to perform to their best without Sadio Mane in the team as Liverpool did not even manage to qualify for the Uefa Champions League. Bayern Munich does have a great squad of players in the team including Sadio Mane but they always seems to underperform in the Uefa Champions League once they progress out of the group stage, I wonder if Bayern Munich made the right decision in signing Kim Min-jae at the transfer market but I guess they might need more signings in order to compete with other teams at the Uefa Champions League in the next upcoming season.

there is a logical explanation for what happened to liverpool, after the departure of saudi mane (who was no longer very important in the team because there was a period in which he did not score goals and this is happening to him at bayern), many players from liverpool were injured and unfortunately the injuries were more destructive in attack, with diogo jota and luis diaz being injured for many months liverpool had to make signings that were supposed to fill the hole they had in their attack but unfortunately these signings were unable to resolve or at least minimize the problem, so liverpool dropped a lot in performance

but when it came to april in march, that is to say, close to the end of the season with the return of diogo jota and luis diaz, liverpool started to win games and recover positions in the table, with that i believe that this season that will start in the next month, liverpool may be able to stay in the top 4 and go to the champions league, but they couldn't win the premier league the way they are. about bayern, no doubt they are getting stronger with the aim of winning the champions league, although it will not be an easy mission, bayern would have more chances in the champions league next season, and they will easily win the bundesliga next season

I just wonder if the man will play in the starting 11 or be on the bench for the whole season

Honestly I would also like to see the Bundesliga being more competitive from now on. The previous season was really nice in terms of that but it was thanks to Bayern Munich's not being completely themselves. It still didn't change the result when it comes to the team to achieve the league title though.

I understand Dortmund that they want to keep their finances as high as possible at least while they can't become a title winner here. But I hope someday they decide to be more competitive for the title by taking the right steps for it.
It won't be fun if we see continuous domination in a league like what happened in the Bundesliga, last season everything was so interesting to look forward to until the end of the season even though Borussia Dortmund ultimately failed but because of the tight difference in points everyone tried to watch the last game and keep checking live scores to see the table change, with the main players being sold at high prices and it seems that there is no movement from Dortmund it is very possible that they will display something that is not as good as last season but also does not rule out even better because they learned from previous failure, and with still time in the big transfer season there is a chance there is a change in Dortmund's strategy in the transfer market.
But other teams can also be a threat to Bayern Munich Leipzig or maybe Bayern Leverkusen, only we won't be able to guess how strong they are to become competitors to Bayern Munich who look very intense to making improvements and who will probably have a new striker.

God is great
Dortmund have slowed down a little about their young player transfers these days. They have brought amazing names to the team so far such as Haaland and Bellingham. Their total profit in the sales of these two players was really good. There are a lot of talented players in the pool right now surely. Dortmund just don't want to rush anything for now.

Maybe a central midfielder transfer would be really good for Dortmund. Because it was Bellingham's main position and now there isn't anyone there whose position is that naturally. They can surely look for a big talent like Bellingham for this position.
