You gotta like the payout with upset, it's Hector 9.80.  But will Ryan Garcia vs Davis going to happen if Hector wins?

I think Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis will still push through even if Tank receives a loss via decision. If it's a knockout loss then it'll be hard for his team to pitch this bout to continue at all. But with the way the odds swing even heavier towards Tank's favor, I think we know the outcome of this fight. Hector Garcia still is not out of the game and a lot of things can still happen, but I think the outcome is already decided here somewhat.

It seems that this will go the distance, with odds of 4.xx, whereas, if this fight will be over 7.5, has the odds of 1.7x.
The odds for the fight going the distance is very tempting to place your bet with but bookies are highly favoring davis on this match.

That is if Hector Garcia can hold up his own against Tank. I think Davis's camp is looking to finish this bout very early and we might not even see anything greater than 7 rounds at all but we'll see. There's some juice in there but everyone is expecting a knockout by Davis early on in the fight.

Both make weight at 134 lbs

I don't know but seems to me that Davis looks weight drain, nevertheless after the weigh-in, he can rehydrate and probably might be close to super welterweight during the fight.

So finally we are here, odds still stands as Garcia is almost 9:1 underdog. The over/under is 7.5 rounds. Goodluck to those who are going to bet on this fight.

Will be interesting if upset will happen on this match but seems unlikely to happen.
If upset, don't know if davis vs garcia will push thru. But let us see...

I would be impressed if they gave Hector Garcia a minimum of 2 months to prepare. With less time to prepare while Tank was obviously training already, it is hard to imagine an upset. Although I would love Hector to score an upset.

PBC people and its partners always try to hype Tank's PPV events to their loyal followers. Here's the face-off where Tank tried to scare Hector Garcia. https://fb.watch/hT_cJYUb-2/

I don't want upset to happen not this time I want Gervonta to face Ryan Garcia still undefeated and fresh from his win against Hector Garcia, Gervonta will try to inculcate fear in Ryan Garcia by knocking him out, obviously in their Face-off Hector is very reluctant to engage in a thrash talk, he prefers to do his thing in the ring.
I just hope he can offer resistance against Tank but of course Tank will eventually win.

Bookie thinks Hector Gacia is the lesser in this match though and they already see him going down probably in the first round. Davis by KO is 1.27 worth it to wager still. Good luck to all.

I am very excited for this because I have told everyone many times that Boots Ennis is the boxer who can win against the kings of welterweight, Spence and Crawford.

In any case, my prediction is Boots will knockout Karen in round 1.

Yes, Ennis said that he wanted to make a statement here, it will be a PPV fight (co main event) so everyone is watching him. And if he win big here then for sure the hype train will continue and hopefully it will lead to either Spence or Crawford this year.

This will be a ladder boost for Jaron Ennis to get his place much closer to both Errol Spence and Terence Crawford, but it'll be closer for Spence because he will be the IBF mandatory after his fight against Karen which by the way I don't think that Ennis will lose here against Ukrainian boxer. Critics will be watching him in this bout for sure and defeating Karen will boost his name to call for the champions next.

Yes, I think that will be the perfect scenario for Ennis, beat the Ukrainian, (although he was scary during the face-off), but nevertheless this could be an easy fight for Jaron, might be too strong and too big for Karen.

So yes, a statement win, badly needed by Ennis to send that he will be looking for Spence next as he is the mandatory now.

Maybe Spence will fight Thurman and after his win, its easy Spence vs Boots.

It's a different Garcia, but just think about it, fans buying ticket to think that it will be Ryan Garcia in January, hehehe.

But as others have said, tune up, cherry pick, get busy fight, call it whatever you want but this is true. Very clever on Tank and his camp to pump up first before taking Ryan. And in any case, I wouldn't mind this, as long as he will fight Ryan whether in May, as long as it will happen this year, and I'm down with this fight.
After all, there is a fight with Garcia. Better than nothing. Those who think they will fight Garcia and think they are tickets, I think they will watch a good fight and they are lucky Cheesy
Some said it was a dangerous fight for the Tank, although I agree. It'll be easy for the Tank, just the right time throughout the match, and he'll knock Garcia down with his explosive punch.

Everyone is talking about Tank Davis, however, it appears that much of us fans of boxing in the forum did not notice a very important fight for the IBF welterweight division. This is Boots Ennis vs. Karen Chukhadzhyan for the IBF interim welterweight championship.

Right, this is for the interim belt, and after this he should be the mandatory for Spence.

Why the interim welterweight championship for IBF? This is because Errol Spence cannot make a mandatory defense for his IBF championship because he has another mandatory defense for his WBC championship. The IBF is also very strict and force Errol Spence to make his next mandatory defense against Boots Ennis or give the championship to Ennis.

They should be strict in implementing this mandatory fights, the thing is we will go back to boxing politics and corruption as to why some fights are not being force by this body which deprived us fans of good super fight.

I am very excited for this because I have told everyone many times that Boots Ennis is the boxer who can win against the kings of welterweight, Spence and Crawford.

Here is what Luis Garcia has to say regarding Tanks recent brushed with the law.

Quote
“I don’t think he has lost focus because I’ve seen him continue with his great training and the way he has continued working, just like he has before,” Garcia said during his open workout earlier this week. “He’s a great fighter for a reason. And I know that he’s gonna want to represent his country and his city, just like I do.”

https://www.ringtv.com/648203-if-hector-garcia-didnt-catch-your-eye-in-2022-he-says-youll-know-him-after-he-beats-gervonta-davis/

And that is a good sign that he is not underestimating Davis because he knows that he will come full prepared despite the distraction from the background. I like though that Hector is really very confident that he will pull against upset in his career. And we knows that he is the underdog in this fight and he likes that kind of set up, maybe it will give more more fuel and fire and with no pressure at all in his shoulder.

Edit: Here is the press conference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Y4EOq_SS4M

I think Tank remained focused in this fight. Otherwise, he could've easily canceled this fight with no problems at all as he is the PPV guy here.

Gervonta Davis won the thread poll for a knockdown and also won the favorites in our bookies.

Not worth the bet for small amounts.
I guess just predicting what round this will end is the only profitable gamble. Who is in for an early KO? He is a KO specialist with 25 of 27 fights so there's a high chance it will end with Garcia lying on the mat.
It's the when that will not be easy to guess.
Round 1 - x28
Round 2 - x22
Round 3 - x17
Round 4 - x14
Round 5 - x12
(Stake.com odds.)
Not bad if you bet $100 on every round. Only if you think it will end early.

It's hard to predict what round Gervonta can knock out his opponent, I did not use the word will because as we all know Gervonta's knockout comes from counter punches, its when his opponent is aggressive and careless like what happen to Romero, so it's up to Hector Garcia if he will press and not be very defensive, what I'm sure of is Garcia will be very careful and will try to win by frustrating Gervonta and earn points.

Under 7.5 rounds in Sportsbet looks attractive at 2.26. And I think majority of us here thinks this is going to be an early exit for Davis. He wanted this fight to end up early because he wants to rest before taking on Ryan Garcia.

So the more the round goes over 7.5, the more Davis will tired.

So for those who wanted to have a good bet but not riskier as per round, maybe that under is the bet that we should look at.
Oh, I like that too. I mean, much better, lesser risk.  Wink Thank you for the information.
I checked the other options and there's a range of round wins.
Rounds 1-3 - @8.60
Rounds 4-6 - @4.80
Rounds 7-9 - @3.55
I think I like these options more and your suggestion rather than going for each round. There's still a bit of a win even if I go for $100 each as long as it would not prolong to round 10.  Cheesy
In any case, my prediction is Boots will knockout Karen in round 1.
Yes, this will be a good fight too.
Same, Ennis is the heavy favorite too just like Davis, I am also taking the early round finish for this fight.
Even if you parlay the two heavy favorites to win will not be worth the prize. I'd rather choose the other options.

That's what they say, Boots is feared by many in the division. High risk for Karen. Boots stepping up against Spence or Crawford will be a bigger fight, but he can't be that comfortable at 147 against the top contender may at 154. There is just no offer for money to make but I think he'll get there after Ortiz.

This is not the highlight because Tank is the main event. Too late to create a thread.

Level-headed man. He knows that Tank is going on through tough times and maybe he knows that the guy somewhat lost focus. By saying the things he said, he kinda pushed Tank to get serious and get back on track and settle this fight with a fair game for Hector Garcia. Garcia knows that he's the underdog in here and almost everyone and their mothers are on Davis's side on their bout, that's why he still wants to get in his head that there is a high possibility that he'll lose this one, and that he should think that his opponent is 100% ready for him no matter what albeit Davis's recent run-in with the law.

Hopefully Tank delivers a very solid performance and seal the deal against Hector Luis Garcia to advance against Stevenson or maybe Haney. But I like Stevenson to be his next opponent. There are some trash talks going on already and we just want to see some action for that.

We will see, because we really don't know who is telling the truth in this case, but probably the lessons here for Tank is just to surround himself with good people and not those who wants to take advantage of him, and now he will be dragged in this court case wherein he should be enjoying his holiday and then looking for a fight against Hector Garcia first week of January, not it seems to be in jeopardy including his fight with Ryan Garcia.
These type of circumstances would definitely affect the performance of Tank if he will still pursue the fight, because he can’t be at his whole focus this time because of those said scandal. But we also know the excellent performance of Tank as seen from his previous matches, the case is if he will still be able to sustain his performance or might only end up as a defeated one because he’s mentally and emotionally bothered at the moment.

Things are taken care of, for now, this is a dilemma for promoters they want healthy boxers in mind and body in the ring, especially Gervonta who is a very special boxer, come January 7 we'll see how Gervonta deals with the trauma I expect Gervonta to fully dominate Hector Garcia but this is supposed to be a tune fight and the big fights are just coming and Gervonta's handlers and promoters should see to it that everything is smooth going in the big fight which is a Ryan Garcia fight, but for now he should dispose of this another Garcia.
After this work, his lawyers and handlers should tackle all the issues and obstructions for the Ryan Garcia fight.

With all the distractions going into this fight, i don't think Davis is 100 percent ready but i also think that even if a "50 percent boxing ready Davis" will still defeat Garcia but not in an impressive manner IMO.

ML odds for now at my favarite bookies is Davis 1.05, Garcia 7.80, not attractive and not going to bet on that one. Will wait for the "Davis by decision" option as i think it will be 3.XX plus and that would be attractive odds AFAIC.

Yeah, I just check the odds because I was curious, I know that Davis will be the favorite but it seems that sport bookies are not giving Hector Garcia a slim chance to win in this fight.

Anyhow, we all know that there are distractions on Davis camp and the only way we know if he really is affected by all the negativity around him is if he is not focus on his upcoming. Yes, probably a full 12 rounds and then him winning by unanimous decision will be the best bet as per odds or at least the fight going into distance.
He is a professional in the first place, for sure he encountered such thing before regarding negativities around him especially during his amateur era, so I think this won't slow him down.

On my end, I have a high belief that Davis would 'own' this fight. Big respect to Hector but Davis quite grew 'bigger' as a boxer over his undefeated record. As I have watched his previous fights, his punches are becoming more accurate not to mention his endurance which might be because of his strengthening routines(he's more buffed at the present). So for me, he's ready for the date. Hector for sure has the potential but I just think this would be too much for him.
