Yeah but I get my nicotine so no fucks.

You smoke?  Do you buy your own cigarettes sometimes?

That would be kind of ironic for someone who asks for bitcoin donations.   I sure would not give bitcoins to someone who would just burn them.

Read my last blog post. I haven't paid for cigarettes in months... actually not even once this year.

and once you have you new digital camera you could do tasks around NYC in favor of the bitcoin community.

like set up promotional posters, or take pictures with random  people whom you hand out bitcoin information sheets.

so you would get easy jobs and a constant flow of bitcoin.

make a picture with a shoe on your head with the new dyed hair, to finally have all the nonbelievers shut up.

I don't think anyone said she isn't real, some of us just don't think she is actually homeless or in poverty.

Idk, i still dont buy it. No matter, youre your own person so do what you wish.

While panhandling for Bitcoin is a good idea, this does seem kinda fishy IMO.

You don't have money, yet you have HiRes pics? You're homeless and make your own cigarettes using butts, but you get your hair done and wear makeup?

Don't get me wrong, if you are legitimate, I don't have a problem with what your doing Jackie, it just seems a little odd.

camera isn't mine. I've been at someone's house for the weekend and his gf wanted to do my makeup and hair. Not gonna pass the chance up lol

Another post just went up for you poor smokers out there.

I read it, that's just disgusting. Already smoked cigarettes taste like ass (I know because I did exactly this, too when I was a smoker, but only my own cigarette buts, stupid addiction).

Also:

Bitcoin the currency you can instantly gift money to a homeless on the other end of the world

Yeah but I get my nicotine so no fucks.

Thanks a lot guys. I hope I end up liking RI, NYC has lost its charm for me (Especially since I've been here for 4 years now). If I don't like NYC, I'm gonna try somewhere else.

I don't really have a problem with the whole "couch surfing as a way of life" thing.  What I do have a problem with is people who've chosen that way of life expecting others to bail them out every time they run low on funds for essential life expenses, especially when those people admit to being thieves and have said in the past that they spend the majority of their BTC on Silk Road products.

That said, people get sick of pan-handlers very quickly so Jackie's likely to wear out the empathy of people here sooner rather than later.

Not to pick sides in this particular slap fight, but which is more useful- a computer or a home? Homes can be crafted out of wherever you happen to be, and resourceful people can manage to be very creative about where they sleep at night (I once made 8 months straight sleeping on overnight trains around Europe, using a single 30 day Eurail pass) while people who want/need/desire to be connected to the world typically find computers much harder to scare up.
