I disagree. It's marketing. I mean they also attract new readers. Why not to control it better?? I mean maybe ask them first to give you certain information before announcing.

i love giveaways, why is this not allowed, when a firm will giveaways. Is this a juridical matter?
Giveaway threads are subject to hacks, bugs and phishing attempts so It's a good decision to not allowing such threads in this sections.
I often met with the so-called. Mostwy it was the phishing of money, or the weak attempts of hackers. You will not get anything for free. Do not trust too many people you do not know.
