I see so many rules... People are free. Should able to give away whatever they want. I'm unsure how you think you will stop this?

I consider this to be the right decision and completely agree with you that these topics should be blocked ... But I think it would be much better if you just transferred these posts to a separate unit and created a sub-section in the "off-topic" section, there this question makes sense.
I agree with the Altin Coin point point of Bitcointalk desired. Things like coin backing and in-depth discussions, and prizes are much better on their respective coin forums. It's getting out of control here, and the idea of posting incentives is spamming the forums, and that's spilling over the board. For giveaway it would be nice, ask them to link the giveaway to an external website that can make you lose the traffic flow because the crucial time this site will reduced.

I followed a giveaway - that asked me to post a thank you. then found out by having - my post deleted - that it was not allowed. So thanks for letting me know that - posting a thank you is not allowed.
Some giveaways are scams. Promises 1000 coins for so many tasks then sends 0.01 coins lol

A lot of new projects are doing giveaways while calling them airdrops.
Well it was getting crowded in there so can see the logic would like a safe area for Giveaways instead of the off chance of a phishing redirect but that's something someone can make
I agree with this position. Now the forum is a lot of spam, it's time to fight. But do not forget except punishment and bans, sometimes give encouragement

)) completely doing away with giveaways is not the best idea I think that each coin should be aloud 1 official giveaway thread and that's all
I would be okay with this idea. I definitely agree that having a lot of giveaway threads gives the forum a sort of spammy feel. However, I do think there should be at least a little bit of promotion allowed; as it kind of drives a-lot of activity and professionalism in isolated areas of the site, as well as a desire to see new projects/be a part of there initial campaigns. 
indeed that is why there are any side effects or nothing else ,, we should look for the problem as to why it is not allowed by the owner of that thread.
Again monitoring and simply locking dead giveaways would be better solution to this problem that straight up banning them all

in my opinion giveaway threads is not very profitable, but if followed by bounty campaign and marketing of ICO globally will give advantage. and of course we better make a real investment in crypto by seeing the clear market value of ICO products that want to be invested.

And what's about giving away the 6k of donations peoples did to you to get a nice forum ? Peoples asking for giveaway threads that's why there is a lot. So we gave 6k to get pulled out ?
We need organisation, it's to easy to just forbid.
