I managed to quit because of was ruining my life. I didn't lose anywhere near what you lost thank god. I lost maybe $80 but I lost $400 in winnings. This is what annoys me the most. If I were just not greedy I would have won back all my losses and make a profit too.

Exactly I agree on this. First, the gambler wants to fix his mind. Then only he can give up gambling easily, and other people may help him. If the gambler has fickle mind, then it is not possible to give up. So anything is possible but for that, we have to do hard work and also have control over our emotions. If you control your emotions then giving up is easy.

However they need help. It is impossible to overcome something like this without help.

The first step is, of course, to recognize the problem. However you need help beyond that.

I dont think that any thing is impossible to do, until you dont make your mind fully prepared to do what you want no other can help you, not only gambling but other bad habits are also not easy to give up until the gambler itself dont want to leave it. So i think first the gambler have to take first step and then only other can help him to get rid of gambling bad habit.

Yeah, but it is not easy as to quit as A,B,C. You are saying that there are many ways? yes, there are too many ways but it is also depend of the people if they really want to quit for their own good.

It is all up to on our need what is our dream with gambling and how much money we want to make from betting, when we think we have good skills to make profit than it is not easy for anyone to leave gambling and it is really hard task.

Yes, I also tend to agree because most of the gamblers take loan to play. Honestly they feel that they will win big amount today and pay all the dues and get rich, but this never actually happens.

Once you go down that path, it's very difficult to recover from that. Taking out loans to fuel your addiction is about the worst thing you could do.

True, it does that make us become a spirit or weakened depending of our own minds. Gambling should not be giving a negative impact if our mind is not too think of gambling, because I see a lot of people think gamblers gambling too deep so that their minds just remember about gambling and how to find an advantage, it is that makes it difficult to go from gambling.

that's true if you are doing it alone you won't able to win with satisfaction you always wanted to win more and more without knowing that you already losing everything so better yet learn to stop and always think that it is just all for fun and not for money.

We all know friend its better to give up rather than keep gambling, but how to do that because once addicted trust me it becomes like a nightmare, you cannot live without it and you at the same time know you can not win from it.

Yeah because you can make your life shetty and messy addicted gamblers may do anything bad just to have money to gamble and mostlw of them have big debts anywhere thats why its worse since they really hook so much and they need an help to their love ones so it can be stop although its hard but all things are possible if we have perseverance to stop well we can do it With the help of supporting sorroundings.

For the real addicts it's hard. I had a friend and no matter how often we said to stop, because it wasn't worth, he kept gambling. Just when we he lost a big stash of money, he came to use and he would stop, but it was too late, since he lost a small fortune.
