Google recently updated their policies regarding Google Ads and will now allow ads related to cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets provided they have registered with FinCEN. This change is set to take effect in August 2021. As you may recall, the ban was imposed in March 2018 and lasted almost three years.

This easing of crypto advertising restrictions is a positive sign. Google appears to be warming up to bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general as many governments, financial institutions and private companies are increasingly liberalizing their crypto policies these days. What do you think?
This year has been a good year for Bitcoin. I like the direction we are heading to, a lot of institutions are starting to recognize Bitcoin and have accepted it. Some of them have even gone as far investing their cash asset in it which is really good. And we all know that has been part of the reason why we reached a high price this year.

We look forward to better years ahead as the recognition for Bitcoin has been high, and more people will start becoming part of this community as time goes on, which is very good. I am looking forward to when there are going to be lots of companies accepting it as a payment method on their websites.
Things are definitely in a good shape right now and even if the market is in a bloodbath, there are lot othef good things to celebrate for concerning crypto.

Add to it is the positive news about google lifting its ban on crypto and i think google has made it even better right now. They are not just concern with the money they will be making but more for the welfare of the google users. And it's good to limit those search for those registered crypto exchanges so a much more transparency will be observe. Scamming will always be there but the chances to make it happen is now becoming rare.

Good work to those at Google, I appreciate not only the lifting of the ban but, the process they made before and crypto-currency advert can be made, this would make the Body meant to regulate, exchanges and wallet and more things crypto-currency, more recognized and task with duties.
But for Newbies, not because Google allowed the advert this makes it not scam, it still could be, but I think vfor present and future exchange and wallet creator this avenue would help them sell-off what there off through the medium of Goodle advert.

For sure a lot of scam advertisement will be all over the play again for sure, I mean that just the reason why google banned the cryptocurrency advertisement because of so many scam ads on, but most of the time for google is it just all about money, and a lot of cheating tools, applications are also advertised by google so it is not surprising at all.

I mean google could at least limit these scams if they are going to verify all of the cryptocurrency advertisements, they might not be able to filter all of the scam's advertisements but they could at least limit it because it is a big deal for the community.

Remember back in the day where most cryptocurrency advertisements are scams, that is why people are thinking that all cryptocurrency is scams even bitcoin, etc. completely destroying what the peoples perspective about crypto.

If they limit advertising on listed exchanges that would be a very good thing.  And don't use random services related to cryptocurrencies.  In this regard, it is better if Google avoids it.  Due to day by day the sharp increase in crypto hacking, fraud and any malicious activities related to crypto.
The goal of limiting advertising on Google is to avoid the destruction of the crypto world that is available today.  So be careful with this, don't be provoked by fraud in the crypto world.

It was just a matter of time and they now understand that staying out of cryptocurrency is not the best option for them too in terms of Business. Whilst many other platforms may have been generating profits from allowing crypto ads, Google has finally realized that and going back on its stands. This is what happens when people/institutions don't think things through before taking action because some didn't accept it before.
It is a good move in the right direction for both.
Some ads were not legit or prone to scams, though its not google fault if they are scammy projects. We are still the one responsible whether to invest or believe on those ads. We need to carefully understand how the market works before we believe and put our money in it.

It is a good thing to be done by imposing a policy that will limit only those registered exchanges and wallets related to crypto to release their advertisements to also take into control of the rising cases of frauds and scams that have been scattering on different search engines and websites. By this, it will somehow be rest assured that the users will be having a safe place to get into but still it will be a personal responsibility to be aware not to do engagement from strange pop up ads and floating advertisements to avoid getting caught into hack and scam schemes. A good point for Google on that part.

Though am I the only one who think that there's no crypto ad ban imposed before because I've seen crypto ads even before this announcement?
No, you're not the only one... I'm still seeing a lot of those ads [mostly from the reported threads on the "Scam Accusations" board] from time to time and I'm starting to think that everything has to be automated or else they would've "easily" rejected most of those ads.
- Having said that, usually, such ads are taken down quite quickly if someone reports them.

but it seems the crypto projects or company that are registered with FinCEN gonna be very few, after all many projects aren't available for the US citizen therefore they don't need to get registered with FinCEN
What do you think?
Due to the above quote [by aubert], I can't see it as a positive sign or even have an impact of any sort.

I don't even think that google doesn't allow people to advertise about cryptocurrencies before. But now they are going to accept advertisement about crypto. Good news, because it can help the crypto currency to spread everywhere through ads to increase the demand and users of cryptocurrency.
I think Google is doing that because they can get more money by allowing people to advertise crypto as cryptocurrencies are now becoming a new trend and it is already boom this year. So it is a win-win solution for Google and crypto because both sides will benefit and help crypto grow as Google is still the favorite search engine for people. So even if out there, some people still use the other search engine, Google has its fan.
Google has finally lift its ban on crypto now that's bitcoin is already adopted by huge institutional investors. I think this will be a good start for crypto and google after 3 long years of being banned.

Google has set its limits for registered crypto exchanges only and i think this will be a great help for crypto traders and investors not to be scam by those fake crypto exchanges. And for sure google will be fully loaded with crypto researches as google will always be the top search outlet of all time.
I hope that will help crypto grow in many places as people who use the Google search engine will see many advertisements about crypto. But that can also attract many crypto program scams that will tempt people to join and involve in crypto. Google needs to filter the advertisement and not allow the scam program in the advertisement because that can make people lose their money. But people themselves will need to be careful when they see the advertisement about crypto and make sure they read for more information before deciding.

It was to be expected, Google is just a business and they have no ideology except to make as much money as possible, they are seeing that if they do not allow this they will lose money in a market that is growing and becoming more popular by the day and this is something that they cannot allow, however we know that the security of Google is not exactly the best so I will not be surprised if we see a lot of scams being advertised there and people losing all their money because of it.

I agree Google definitely doesn't want to miss the hype going on in crypto this year, Google also wants to get back the profits from crypto
advertising. That's why Google moved quickly by changing its policies regarding crypto advertising, this year Google will again allow
crypto advertising, after 3 years of banning crypto advertising. This is of course very good news, hopefully this news will increase investors
confidence in cryptocurrencies. And hopefully this positive news can trigger the Bitcoin price to recover quickly, although the possible negative
effect will be many more scams in the crypto world again. Because scammers will again use Google Ads to scam. So we have to be careful,
especially newbies, to always make sure the link we want click is the correct address we want to go to. Do analysis and research when choosing
projects for investment and always choose trusted exchanges or wallets.

If that is true . This is good news for the community, previously I heard that crypto is included in the YMYL your money your life. and that's mean any crypto-related is a financial thing and may not allowed to showed in any ads of a blog or website2 under google adsense. if true google allows this later would be very good for us.

Basically they are allowing crypto ads again because they now have a way to filter out the ads and differentiate the harmful ones and the safe ones. Google dont totally ban crypto related advertisement on their ads and I don't see the benefit of their new ad policy if they did not expanse the amendments to the Google play store app services which were said to be somehow insecure due to some phishing site/app which was on the Play store.

I thought google always supported bitcoin? Never knew they did something like banning crypto related advertisement. But maybe because they are afraid that there will be so many scams related to bitcoin, so prefer to play it sound and safe. However such a good news then, google is such a big platform, and ads in google will surely reach more people, and it will make bitcoin more popular and well known.
precisely because of the popularity of google which is clearly very useful for crypto development in general because it will be better known and recognized by many countries because a company as big as google is already willing to accept what is needed from crypto itself. Of course, it is clear that we want to be able to be reached by other people and increase crypto capacity later.

but whether what google does will not turn off the bounty hunter because there will probably be many projects that already have capital that don't need help anymore but just advertise on google. whether this is not also thought about and whether it will not be a new problem again, hopefully not as I imagined.

This is a good move for google we all know that one of the top web browsers we are using is the use of google chrome and right now the world of cryptocurrency is expanding there are tons of people who would like to join this world but some of them are still newbies and don't know what to start, where to download safe files, executable, extensions and many more so to prevent some of them getting scam its a nice job for their part also to keep their users safe to possible phishing websites.
This is good news too that Google will lift the ban on crypto ads in August, just a moment to wait and how will it react to the price of bitcoin at that time.
I am also a lover of Google Chrome for a long time until now, I still continue to use it, it would be even better if this security could be improved again despite the many ad frauds on Google on behalf of cryptocurrency with their phishing sites, this is still happening a lot until now, many phishing sites are still continuing scattered, I'm afraid that when the ban is lifted there will be more ads until the ones on google.
