This is a good move for google we all know that one of the top web browsers we are using is the use of google chrome and right now the world of cryptocurrency is expanding there are tons of people who would like to join this world but some of them are still newbies and don't know what to start, where to download safe files, executable, extensions and many more so to prevent some of them getting scam its a nice job for their part also to keep their users safe to possible phishing websites.
I thought google always supported bitcoin? Never knew they did something like banning crypto related advertisement. But maybe because they are afraid that there will be so many scams related to bitcoin, so prefer to play it sound and safe. However such a good news then, google is such a big platform, and ads in google will surely reach more people, and it will make bitcoin more popular and well known.
Google recently updated their policies regarding Google Ads and will now allow ads related to cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets provided they have registered with FinCEN. This change is set to take effect in August 2021. As you may recall, the ban was imposed in March 2018 and lasted almost three years.

It will be a good thing since frauds will be limited with their schemes considering that most of them appears on such pop up advertisements on different sites. It can also be a sign on how Google will be soon favoring crypto and it will surely make a huge impact on it due to google's huge influence all over the world. This just show how much crypto is improving and innovating as time passes by and it will show up on different platforms and different ways like the news with El Salvador tolerating or legalizing the use of crypto within their nation and inviting foreign crypto enthusiasts for a free citizenship. It will be a good start to promote and continue the popularity of cyrptocurrency through google advertisement. It's good that google has lifted it's ban on crypto advertisement. It's proved that the adoption in cryptocurrency are keep on growing as the time goes by.

I'm sure Google doesn't want to lose this big opportunity in the crypto business, currently, the crypto market is trillion dollars so it complicates all crypto-related affairs it will only make Google lose the opportunity.
Regarding the advertisements that we are seeing in the internet world, I've noticed that the crypto advertisements are backing up, again and again, that's why I've researched it and I've seen that Google permits again the advertising of cryptocurrency over the internet surface. To be honest this is a great start for us again to re-establish the cryptocurrency and find other people who have the same mindset as us and due to the crypto advertisements over the internet, many people will see and will be having knowledge on what crypto is all about.

This could maximize the pressence of bitcoin since advertisers now can promote their platforms with bitcoin pics on it but hopefully google will filter on what people going to advertise since there are so many scams and its really bad that scammers will use their platform to scam people. That is good news for the crypto because people can place their ads again in the Google Ads, attracting many people out there who use Google to see the crypto ads. It seems Google realizes about crypto and wants to see how bigger the crypto market, and I think Google wants to get involved in the crypto world someday. With its power, Google can easily use its resources to invite people to invest in their project if Google somehow creates its own coin or token. If crypto can give more benefits to Google, I am sure they will try to use it for their company.
Really.... Fck Google and the knight on the white horse he is riding with this gesture. They want to make money, but they got burnt when people started complaining that they were losing money on scam ICO's that was advertised on their platform.
Now they saw a loophole, where they can allow "Big Brother" certified companies to advertise on their platform. These platforms halted Crypto currencies progress for years.... and now they want to be the hero again.

Google's imposing a ban on crypto ads didn't affect anything much as it seems. Because I was still seeing some people who were getting scammed by frauds. Let's see what's gonna change after Google's lifting the ban.
Absolutely. They thought that banning these ads would help the situation become better. But that wasn't very helpful to be honest. They should create far better solutions than it.
It's good that they did that because they aren't solving the problem with banning crypto advertisement, when what they really need is for a proactive search and destroy of scam advertisement that is flocking their platform.
Yes google at first misinterpreted many times regarding scams and crypto advertisements.
Also the scammers using the advantage of the fact that crypto is decentralised, so using it to scam people.
Lately google has understand the real value of cryptos and Bitcoin and now allowing to run ads.

I think that with the lifting of the ban, they also added some new rules to crypto advertising so it's a bit more safer but you are right that we still have to be careful about it. 
I think its better for Google to look more as there are a lot of phishing and scam sites thru Google Ads. We don't know how this criminals can bypass their policy check but even in 2021, there are a lot still appearing when you try to search like "Electrum", "Blockchain" thru their services. This are should be their priority if they really wanted to clean up crypto advertisements as a whole.
They will not take action until someone reported those sites as phishing since everyone are considered paying advertisers. And its up to users to report such ads as deceptive if they saw one. No report = No action from google side.

It is much better. This is a big help for a huge market spread and helps to send information. We know a lot of people using this platform and at this time, these people could be aware of cryptocurrency projects and possibly gives them the interest to invest.

It's up to the person now to protect themselves on phishing websites. Even though the scam site is on top due to SEO, Person can be careful and check the website if it's the legit or not. Doing own research is the best way to avoid scammer since Google can't fully protect there user on every possible attack.
