I am just curious - legally, how long can I wait before I am required to file for my refund?

I am assuming it does not matter if the next relaunch is in an hour or a week, the owner has already guaranteed refunds if the second launch fails.

I am assuming I have some time in order to request the refund, even if it is after Sunday when the relaunch occurs.

Im not sure you CAN apply for a refund. Legally, Mr. CEO owes you nothing unless you have a clear contract mentioning the deliverables, signed by witnesses and paid for in the national currency (USD in this case). Its like the situation of people pre-ordering bitcoin miners and paying for with bitcoins... you are essentially crossing your fingers and trusting that one fine morning the bitcoin miner will show up at your doorstep in a FedEx package. Legally they owe you nothing, because nothing was paid in USD. And it did happen.... lot of people did not receive them. "Bitco Miners" is a good example.... just closed down their website after raking in enough bitcoins and disappeared.

I'm afraid you all are dependent on the goodwill of the dude. Sigh.... I feel for you. Non-responsive, MIA, all point to the wrong direction.... and to add insult to injury, the value of bitcoins decided to pop its head back up and going upwards!

The CEO is a businessman, NOT A DEVELOPER.

Actually, the CEO is neither.  He is a nuclear reactor operator or something, with what appears to be no business training at all.

He is a record setter. He going to set a record for the most failed launches of a coin in the shortest amount of time.

Whatever he is; his concept is undeniably brilliant and like no other coin. If you cannot see that or deny it then your fools. I personally want to see this succeed more then any coin.

The CEO is a businessman, NOT A DEVELOPER. He does not have the expertise to launch a coin by himself and so fully relies on a third party. It's not easy to create a brilliant concept and then see it through straight to release.

Consider he has NO EXPERTISE on launching a coin- he's done very well so far to try and bring this together, instead of asking BS questions like "does anyone have his IRL details" how about show some patience. He's obviously trying hard and working day/night sometimes to get this coin off the ground.

Once it launches, all the failed launches before it wont matter and you'll have more fruitful returns. But if your all nagging/pressuring him with SCAMSCAMSCAM he'll feel under pressure and more prone to make mistakes. Just give him some air to breathe.

If you want to be in the big boy games, you play hard. You reinvest your coins and get more equipment. I started out with a GPU which mined at 40kh/s, and now I have a small growing farm.
And that is PRECISELY what this coin is supposed to help with!! Now is your chance to turn your one GPU into a farm!!

The hardest thing about mining is obtaining GPUs, and that is what this coin was designed to fix.  It's the reason I was excited about it anyway.

I was excited as well, trust me.

Aside from the failed coin launch, he never could explain to me why his system was truly better than the system I use right now: Mine coins -> BTC -> Amazon -> 15%/20% Amazon discount -> My doorstep next day.

It comes down to distribution. Amazon can provide me with cheaper GPUs than him, and I have contacts in Europe and Asia to get cards from at or below MSRP if Amazon can't get it.

yep my thoughts to, what does he care though. once he's up and running if the coin fails he can just start taking btc. then we just gave him his startup costs and he's sitting good while we are screwed.

The second start fails so, they have to refund the IPO investors...They have promised this.
With another launch date they are only get more time and also give hope to the investors. Then the relaunch fails again?

It is as simple as this: the CEO stated on the first fail that if there was second fail the BTC would be refunded. We don't need an email or a phone call - its is trivial to resend the BTC back to the addresses it was received from. Each IPO participant received a unique address to send funds to. I sent three transactions and all three were credited correctly to my IPO Number. IF there is another launch then they always have the option of reissuing the IPO. The only suitable alternative would be to send an email to confirm if the IPO participant wants their funds back and reopen the IPO for the participation of the marketplace after those funds were sent back to those that wanted them. They were doing an OK job of communicating right up until the second fail. Its not too late to conserve goodwill and start communicating again. No communications is always negatively perceived. At this point the CEO has everything to gain (if he indeed intends to run a business kickstarted by altcoin) by stepping up NOW and dealing with the issues at hand. That is leadership and now is the time to lead.

Devs: did any of you guys have a voice conversation with Jaymes?  If so, did you happen to capture his phone #?  Also do you have email contacts other than the one he made for the website?  Any other information like IPs, physical addresses beyond what we have?  Basically anything for someone to get started working with...

Don't let this one go guys - to all those who invested (I was at about a bitcoin), I really hate hearing what a lesson this is.  Either it goes ahead as planned, and we get some more information on that front, or it's a scam, in which case I think it's work a little effort to track down the perpetrator.

I'm hoping for the former since it seems like a good idea.

My mule don't like people laughing
Guys, I know it seems like a scam but there is a relaunch scheduled. So give the guy another chance. Like someone said earlier, he is new to crypto and wants to open a business. I just don't think he has much experience with the likes of us. We're a pretty unforgiving bunch of miners. True, more research should have been done on his part. Its good to see some community members stepping up to help. So I think the best thing to do now is step back and see how things unfold. I'm sure on March 10th we'll all be mining GPU coin.

I believe the CEO means well and is starting a real business and coin.
But he doesn't know enough about crypto, so he NEEDS a good
DEV TEAM. Find that and re-launch this weekend properly.
My BIGGEST COMPLAINT was the total lack of posting here,
facebook, or twitter of UPDATES. NO ONE WANTS to stay up
till 5am and work the next day. THERE WAS NO COMMUNICATION
other than launch moved to 12am, then launch 1:30am,
then launch 2:00am. THEN NOTHING FOR 4 HOURS.
Would have been nice to post here LAUNCH CALLED OFF,
GO TO SLEEP OR WORK. RE-LAUNCH PROPERLY THIS Weekend.
JUST DO THAT PLEASE.

Where is the CEO?!

It's another scam.....Sad

If it is another scam, why would CEO put his face on the website
and the youtube drawing? Police could easily find him. I don't
think it is a scam, just some poor management.

Why they doesn´t sent an email to the IPO investors?
They promised to automatically refund the IPO investors in case the second relaunch fail.
I didn´t receive any email until now.

I've lost faith in this for one simple reason. The CEO hasn't updated twitter. It's something Mt.Gox would do.

That is some sound logic you used there mate Wink
