Maybe excluding some ips in our .conf files would cause syncing with the proper blockchain only? And leaving the wallets open till weekend would help others sync with the proper chain?

My wallet says: 3565 of 3565 blocks, synced, am I on good chain?

You should compare your highest blocknumber with the one listed at http://explorer.gridcoin.us

Went to lunch, came back and it looks like it is in sync. Took a few hours to get those first blocks.

Any info on why the burn site says don't use until 16th but people are saying they have done it? Are we still suppose to wait?

I think there is some syncing issues right now, I will post here when everything is 100% up to speed, btw paste your .conf file just to make sure you got everything right!

You should register to teamgridcoin on each project you choose. The trouble with syncing seems to be caused by the chain still being immature. More info over at CCT.
