Thanks for the vote of confidence. I e-mailed Mike yesterday, let's hope he'll get back to me soon.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure the VAT will be roughly what we estimated.

EDIT: Just as I finished typing this I received a reply from Casascius:

For silver coins I will declare an amount similar
to the spot price of silver. Anything less is risky
if the shipment is inspected: any customs agent
will know 26 ounces of silver is worth well over $35.
