Can someone take a picture of the power cable that comes with the miners? I want to see if the part that splits the cable is detachable and what the connect looks like. Thanks in advance!

Edit... I think I found an image:

Arrived and spent most of the evening trying to get it to work. One module is hashing away and the other is none responsive. Installed new PSUs 750w each. The non-responsive one does not seem to be turning on the second PSU at all. The good one draws 450w at the wall. I might try shorting the 4th and 5th plugs in the 24pin to see if that will get the second module working.

Overall, it was okay to setup, it's really compact. It reminds me more of one of those Avalon minis. I will post some pics tomorrow.

Edit: if anyone could use the 220v PSUs, let me know. I have no use for them at the present.

Had the same problem. I got it working after a few hours of troubleshooting.
Turns out it was the power connector that was loose. The red cable on one of the module was sticking out from the connector.

I ordered on the 7th, i have had no reply, no private message, no email. OP has 'disappeared', this appears to be falling apart.

To the btmine company, please come back to this original thread and lie to us some more, I am loosing confidence in this transaction.

I was thinking about your problem further and I am sure you have already checked this possibility.  Be sure that you have plenty of clearance in front of an behind your miners that they can get plenty of cool fresh air in and room to blow the hot air out and way from them.  If they are placed near a wall or furniture, hot air from one could be circulating into the other unit?

Mtnminer

One of my btminers is overheating, haven't had the time to take a closer look yet. Anyone with the same problem?
I have two in the same room, one is showing temperatures of 35 and 42, the other around 62 and 70 before shutting down due to temp.
Both fans seem to be working, will take it apart in a few hours.
I have the 2nd generation ones, heat sinks facing each other.
Checked, the fans are working correctly, one is sucking air in and the other blowing out.
Machines are in the same room, ambient temp less then 20C (before running them), clearance from walls 1+m, parallel to each other with more then 1m separation.
Hot air from one is not reaching the overheating miner.

Currently in the process of moving them to a hosting provider, going to disassemble the overheating one there. Planning to separate the blades, adding extra fans etc.

On the overheating one, make sure the heatsink is properly seated upon the chips (making contact).

I Ordered one at 8.1. and one at 9.1.

Today I contact them over skype if they send miners and here is answer: "2 miners have been shipped to HK."

They refund me in 3 minute Smiley
I don't get it. Did they ship your two ordered miners, or did they refund them?

Refund them....

So their skype is not new, pretty sure they're either blocking certain customers or that person who got ahold of them via skype is bullshit. I have got a few PM's from them, but it's conflicting information, I have requested a refund but not been given one in BTC yet. I will update when I do get one, but I would be cautious about giving these guys anymore money.

Is yours the larger 1st generation with space between the modules or the smaller 2nd Generation with the modules next to each other with the heat sinks facing?

Perhaps one of the fans are installed backwards, is one fan sucking air in the opposite on blowing out?

I hope you resolve this soon and please keep us updated.

Just got email replay it seems like customs are questioning there shipments not sure of the 1/7 orders are affected but they did say that the 1/8 ones may be checked and delayed. I believe it has something to do with the declaration. The price they wrote is making customs wonder why it was declared so cheap for computers. 1/7 is already in Hong Kong but they are not clear if it will leave in 2 days or get delivered in 2 days. I will update as I get more info.

I got a message saying the same thing, but my order is 1/10 (I did order 1/9), I find this pretty suspect. Does anyone have the new skype? I'm really itching for a refund at this rate and they're not being responsive when I do ask for one.
I ordered / paid on the 8th and didn't receive any email about this.

There is a new skype address for a female named jenny. She was able to pull up my order and told me ship date by 19th possibly sooner due to cancelled orders.

I had no problem getting a response.

I also have great communications with them.
