I was thinking some of those chips must be ours... I like my chips like I like my women: fast, pretty, and dangerous.

Check my math here, but it has been 74 days since April 27, right? Avalon announced a lead time of 8-10 weeks.
Accounting for the fact that Avalon did not place the order with TSMC for a week or so after our order went in (I seem to recall they promised to wait until "after May 1st"?), we should be expecting an announcement that Avalon is shipping the chips any day now.
Is that about right?

You are right .. working off May 1 ... those order should have started shipping yesterday.

What's up guys? I don't have any other news / info at this time. I actually get all my info from JohnK he has the order logins etc. I do not. I've been extremely busy with RL stuff. I'm trying to finish everything up here so that when the chips come in I can put all my time and energy into shipping them out. I also called Gary again he said the sample chips were still stuck in customs but should be cleared by Thursday...
He said they do random checks and we were one of the unlucky ones

Anyone else getting that queezy feeling in your gut about Ragin?
He sure spends a lot of time gathering funds, but once he has them.... crickets.
I understand the concern, but my take is that Ragingazn is an honest guy. If he wasn't, why would he have asked for the ok from the community to use the sample chips that were not allocated to other board designers?
I suspect he has his head buried in PCB designs at the moment, working on his neoasics project, while waiting for the chips.
Having said that, I agree that it would be very helpful if he could monitor this thread, as several of us do need his help. Some need confirmation that their shipping address has been registered. In my case, I need confirmation that it has been changed.
