I cant run the new eth miner it says i some DLL files are missing

although i use Genoil eth miner I dont get it

You need to download and install the Visual C runtime from Microsoft, version 2015 I think is the one you need.

does anyone know what is the issue here

Reported hashrate is 23 almost straight line, but 6 hour average is only ~20
1 GTX 1060 6G, OCed, on windows 10 and claymore single mining ETH, nanopool

I'm getting about 25 MH/s on Eth from a single 1060 using that whereas before I was maxing out at about 22.5 MH/s.

Very nice, what is your OC settings?

I've got it, going by memory, at something like:
power: 80
fan: auto
mem clock: +1000
core clock: +200

The core clock seems to be the most sensitive setting for performance. I'm using a zotac 1060 mini for the card and the precompiled win64 binary for ethminer you can find from that reddit thread. When using these settings it seems to flop between one 19 MH/s for every two 28 MH/s readings so if I understand the display that means an average of around 25 MH/s.

I am getting that results with

60% tdp
0+ core
700+ memory

I pointed ethminer with ethermine pool and i got very improvements so this is better than claymore.... i would know how to point it on nicehash. Because nicehash just accept own miners.
Nicehash recognise differents miners

Is out anyway

Try using GPUz and see what memory you have, if its Samsung you could push the memory overclock higher. I would test with zero overclock on the Core and see how high I could push the memory speed and keep it stable, then once its stable with the memory overclock, try pulling back on the power target. Try using MSI Afterburner.

Thanks Biffa, i was reading up about using MSI Afterburner but wasnt sure if it was compatible (im a novice). I was pleased i got it set up and mining at all  Cheesy

Ill install GPUz and see what it says and post back.

Im now running two cards and they are both micron memory. Still using gpu tweak2 and cant figure out how to switch what card im doing the settings on.

EDIT: uninstalled GPU TWEAK 2, installed MSI Afterburner and problem solved. I can now adjust cards individually or lock them together  Grin. Also i dodnt see anywhere in my motherboard UEFI about enabling 4G. Do i need to do that? Mobo is Asrock Z270 Pro4.

Just started a little ETH hobby mine of a couple of ASUS dual gtx1060-06gb (oc) and set up my little rig with the first card. Ive taken a screen shot and wondered if the settings were ok. Would any of uou guys have suggestions to get more out of it?

Thanks
