I used the Polaris Bios Editor 1-click patch, reduced the memory voltages to 900, and upped all my results by 10-15%...
Dropped all the temperatures and made everything more stable too... (had to change all my memory timings, but was worth it)

Hi,first of all thx for this guide Mattthev!
I finally managed to edit bios for my rx470 samsung memory cards after a dozen of hours of fail and try attempts,and cards are finaly showing properly in device manager without any code errors and stuff,got a small increse in hashrate cos i went for original starps,problem I m having now when i try to OC cards in AB. or in trixx nothing happens,no change are showing after hitting apply,like the cards are locked or something,tried couple of different betas of AB and trixx, same thing,any1 have posible solution to this mistery,thx?
EDIT:oh never mind me, now i see that i can change gpu clocks within a modded bios editor

Clean drivers with DDU, install new one. You might try new OverdrivenTool, link in first post. I'm new at this forum and would like to get some feedback of my new RIG.
My setup is ten Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580 8GB cards on a asrock h110 board. I now get 29,6 MH on mining etherium but would like to know if i can finetune al little bit more.

sorry to interrupt is this also good using power color red devil rx570 4gb ? got some interest when seeing your hash 31MH/s would be much better

For the Powercolor Red Dragon RX 570 4 GB cards, the best result I got was with the BBT Bios (original 1500 MHz straps copied to the higher frequencies on both sets). With that Bios mod you can get up to 29.5 MH/s if you increase the memory to 2075 MHz, but like I said not all the cards can handle that without giving tons of memory errors, which will eventually cause the card to crash. 1975-2000 MHz is much more stable.

No it's not. Comparing the Bios BBT posted in the video to the original Bios, it looks like he just copied the original 1500 timings to the higher frequencies in both sets of straps. I also tried it with the PBE v1.6 'one click' straps, but the BBT Bios worked slightly better.
Oh sorry my bad. It was his another video where he has bios with that timing, I haven't looked at this one... Yeah that timing strap in PBE is not very good.I wouldn't say the PBE v1.6 bundled straps aren't that good. For most of the cards I have they worked great. I'am using Ubermix and that mod is only increase a bit my 4x470s Samsung hashrate, just 1 mh/s more but others doesn't works for me

BTW: It was Eliovp timing strap. I paid for that timing elsewhere, didn't know it was his. The timing strap is publicly released.
OK, I remembered it was something about selling straps that weren't your own.

It's not bad, but also not very good. I don't like downloaded bios from the internet... if you want free bios mod do it yourself it would be at least the same as the downloaded but much safer. Thanks

I get 28.25-29.25 MH/s ETH and 730 - 745 MH/s dual mining DCR after flashing the Bios BBT posted in the description of the video he did for those cards. I'm using 1200 MHz core clcok and 1975-2075 MHz overclock for the memory in Afterburner with a -96 mV undervolt and -15% Power limit. Great cards, only after using HWinfo to check for memory errors, I found not all cards can take 2075 MHz for the memory, so I have to use 1975 MHz. They also run hot when dual mining.

Afterburner 4.4.0 Beta 16 works fine in Windows 10 with the AMD blokchain drivers. While dual mining, HWinfo is showing 0.897 V core voltage and 103.8 W average with a -96 mV undervolt and -15% Power limit in Afterburner.
