Hey Matthev,

Good guide and I've been scrambling around trying to get my speeds over 25MH ETH + 730MH sia per card(dual mining with Claymore V10) but have struggled.

Currently running rig of 6X RX480 Sapphire Nitro+ Elpida. New blockchain driver and and using Anoraks Memshift Bios. When I tried using the Overclock Bios it would trip out my 1200w rig after it started dual mining but it achieved around 27MH.

Also is it important to DDU and reinstall blockchain driver every time? Can't I just run Pixel patcher?
Anorak's bios won't perform very well. You need better timings, you may try those here or I have better one. For Elpida Eliovp should have best timing from what guys telling here.
It's better to use DDU, but if you don't change voltages it should be fine not to do that.

Have you tested an 8-GPU rig?

If so, is the hash rate per card (say 30.1) the same when all 8 GPUs are plugged in?
I've only saw problem with different hashrate on old Intel 900 series mobo. Or you mean like the difference between cards? It's pretty normal, every card is unique and for Hynix it applies two times.

I have eight Gaming X 580 elpidas (4gb). Initially setting the cards up, I put them in pairs then tried the highest hash rate they could get. They easily give 30.1 up to 30.4 with <30 mem errors running +12 hrs. I did these 4 times and out of 8 cards, only one cannot do >30Mh.

But when I put all 8 cards they only manage 29.5 up 29.9 with a total hash around 234ish.

I'd be interested to know what better results you get.
I have partly with the same CPU different miner. sometimes the xmr-stak-cpu and sometimes the xmrig is better...

what's better with you guys?

I did my best with my new Gigabyte RX 580 8 GB (1500 timing only, september release) and had good results. But with your help and timings now I got the best results, more MH/s and stable.

Your timings are unique, and you are doing great job. My card now is faster and stable, thanks to you. I will test it more for even better results using your timings and advices.

I like very much your work and can't wait for updates. I am following this thread and I recommend to the others to do so.  Smiley

Hi
i have the same memory hynix H5GC8H24MJ in  my sapphire nitro rx 570 8gb

I have try all the memory strap or bios i can find but can pass the 25.1 Mh/s
Do you think i can do better or its just a bad card for mining?
Yeah, current testing version is doing 30+MH/s on ETH and 850H/s XMR. Send me an e-mail.

Actually you didn't have to post them in the first place...
I think it's my free will use whatever I want if I don't break rules. You can use another tutorial if you don't like mine, google all the stuff.

@Mattthev - Just took a superficial review over this thread and your shitposts on other threads. When did you last visited your shrink? You are not helping my man, you are making things worse following your guides. Go get some mental help - you need it.
You don't need to follow my guides. You can google every link don't need to click on my links.

Why the f*ck do you use coinhive short redirects? Are you so poor and shitminded that you cannot simply provide normal redirects?
Moreover - his links are outdated and pointless, at least for Vega. I think this thread is like a punishment for newbies ))

Hi All!

I got one modded BIOS for my "Asus ROG STRIX RX 580 O8G GAMING" card (I saved my BIOS, uploaded to a website and got one back from a modder). BUT without checking what exactly he had modified, I doesn't want to flash it, so I compared with SRBPolaris V3 my stock BIOS version with the modded one.

This is what he has done:

- copied the memory timing of 1750 into 2000 strap
- changed the GPU default frequency from 1360Mhz to 1088Mhz
- changed the Memory default frequency from 2000MHz to 2140Mhz
- changed the Max Power limit from 180W to 160W in PowerTune
- changed the TDP from 145W to 122W in PowerTune
- changed the TDC from 149A to 126A

What do you guys think? Is this so OK if I want a little bit more hashrate and less power draw, with stable long term mining?

Thx a lot Smiley

Somebody? Or did I asked something offtopic?
It's Anorak's way. So ask the one who did it for you, why he does it like this. For me this isn't good mod. OC memory to some value without knowing the card... you might enjoy some BSODs.

Thanks for the update, I'll read myself in.
Your links are on cell phones, I'm sorry. Even on the laptop it takes a long time... on the PC alone it's quite possible if I don't mine myself:)

Hi,

Says Mal can someone here adapt a guide to the Vega 56 and Vega 64?

Somehow I have my problems.

thank you

All my Elpida 570's are hashing at ~28.6 ETH + 453.5 SIA. They'd do just over 29 when mining ETH only. Pretty good strap I bought from mattthev there.

Only problem is they're running hot, despite having set voltages between 885 and 950 (depending on the card). Not too sure about the problem. I didn't use DDU as I was afraid not to be able to reboot remotely afterwards, so just used AMD clean install.

I set -TT 79 in Claymore but some of my cards struggle to hold that even with fans spinning between 90 and 100%...
I have Elpida RX 580 is heated more than Hynix. While dual mining ETH+Decred Elpida is heated to 56 degrees at fan speed 100% Hunks in the same way is heated to 47 degrees. This is when the outside temperature is 32 degrees. 29.6 ETH + 853 Dcr. Hynix 30.4 ETH.
