Nope.  Alts still stagnant mate and those pumps that we saw and experienced in some alternative coins  is just a small pumps wherein a normal scenario that always happened in the market because of the volatility . So its not a season for alts.  Unless if its show a high jump what I mean even 20%.

Today's increase in BTC is enough to make many people surprised, because the increase is quite high,
but today's BTC rise is not a sign that the altcoin season has begun, in my opinion it's still too early to draw conclusions,
wait for BTC to sideway, and we see if altcoin will go up when BTC is sideway,
and if you want to buy altcoin, I think now is the right time so that you are not late buying altcoin when the bullish altcoin season has started.

In my opinion the alt season has already begun, it can be seen that most of the altcoins are experiencing an upward movement.
Now waiting for the bitcoin side away first, because the market is still dominant bitcoin that just raged to the price of $ 9300.
Later, after Bitcoin is stable, it can change altcoins to follow up too. So please invest in altcoins each of your mainstay from now on,
I recommend altcoins that are popular if you want to invest.

Arent you aware on the current news as of today? If not then you should read this up https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-jumps-12-as-chinas-xi-embraces-blockchain-boosting-crypto-sentiment

And as a result Bitcoin is going up and alts are going down relative to Bitcoin, opposite of alt season. I think this is pretty much how it's going to be for the foreseable future. There is not so much money to go around as it was at the end of 2017 and investors are smarter after being burned. Only the major coins are going to see gains, Bitcoin getting 80%+ of the capital and the rest fight for leftovers.

I think the altcoin season can begin and I see the current market conditions, there are already many altcoins experiencing price increases and this may be the beginning of the start of the altcoin season, hopefully there can always be price increases until the end of this year and can make many traders happy again.

Some altcoins has a bull run but some are going down.
I think alt season is really seldom to happened because there are too many alts out there so it depends to us of choosing what altcoin will be up.
Maybe the altcoins season only come when bitcoin experience a bull run then become stable, after that alt season might happen
Almost all top 20 alts now are following BTC increase. This might be the start of bullish trend we'd been waiting for BTC and to other alts. At this time we can count in our hands those alt that are not participating in this trend being red since almost all top 100 are recovering now, let's see today tomorrow how people react in instant pump of BTC and ETH happening now.

Do you believe that it has started? I have a good feeling that I should buy them before winter. Prove me wrong.
No, I dont think so unless we have a good news that China and India has opened its door to cryptocurrency but i think it still need more time.
People are still focused on Bitcoin for now, The crypto leader needs to pave a way first in order for these altcoins to flourish.
China has already shut down their country to cryptocurrency so there is no way they will be going back again. The problem here is that most countries are open in cryptocurrency adaptation but at the same time they will have to face the scammers that is taking some advantage to the people who doesn't have any idea of cryptocurrency.

Alt season is far from the reality yet, we will have to wait for the new ATH of Bitcoin in order to see it.

They are now having some positive sentiments on blockchain tech as a whole which means they can possibly revert it back.

Not quite yet imho, but i feel it's near. When projects start to rise against btc rather then usd for days, then i know it has started. But i want to be prepared and don't want to fomo into that when ever it happens. Neither am i trying to catch the bottom so i am just buying little by little them right now. Just to be sure i am somewhat in when it happens.

Well, I also believe that Libra will affect them positively? what do you think?

Libra is basically dead in the water after major partners pulled out.

https://www.cnbc.com/2019/10/25/facebooks-libra-plans-appear-to-be-in-big-trouble-heres-why.html

And it had nothing to with alts anyway. More similar to apple card than crypto currency.

Impossible to say but now's a good time for checking alts out. My favourites XLM, NEO, NWC, NEM...

What I'm noticing is that BTC is dropping and Altcoins are somehow doing its own price correction. I could be wrong but ETH started to climb from $160 to $167 and BTC stays on $7600 after dipping. This also happen to some altcoins which are mostly having good amount of volume. I can only think some of whales are already starting to buy altcoins using the BTC they have on exchanges.

Hold on. Maybe I don't understand libra correctly than?

You got it wrong, the idea of Libra is to be something like a stablecoin, so you convert your fiat into Libra and then use it for sending money to someone or to buy things. The point is that it would become a world currency in some way but under the control of Facebook and its partners. This is something that is not liked by anyone in the world, so this project has no future so far. Buying Libra with Bitcoin is only one possibility, the same as buying any stablecoin today.

look, I'm afraid alts are dead and they will be dead for a very long time
When people massively talk about something is dead, altcoin, bitcoin, stock, whatever kinda assets, they usually end their winter, wake up and began their new growth season (rallying from bottom, exactly described).
I do believe that from now till the end of this year, altcoins will recover impressively.

It is important to remember that shit altcoins mostly have been dead and will hardly or never to recover, but for good ones, they will do rally after bottoming out.

One above raised interesting point that bitcoin has not yet started its bull run with its new parabolic curve, so why have we all been depressed too much with altcoins?

The idea is that you will be able to buy Libra only with Bitcoin right?

What makes you think Libra will only be purchasable using Bitcoin? Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Facebook would sell Libra for anything but Bitcoin.

I'm pretty sure that I have read it somewhere. Something about that in the beginning you will only be able to buy it with BTC.

crypto is very difficult to guess, if you want to collect some coins I suggest first look at market conditions and good news, bad news from altcoin that you will buy, because altcoin is not yet stable, easy to free fall down I suggest caution.

Well, I also believe that Libra will affect them positively? what do you think?

Libra is something that doesn't matter at all when it comes to Bitcoin or altcoins, and, as things stand, there is a good chance that the project will not be realized at all. Just google by keyword "Libra" and you will see that actually the whole world is against this idea. Even if the whole project starts, it would not be useful for cryptocurrency in general - ask yourself why would anyone use Bitcoin or any altcoin if Libra is the ultimate crypto solution?

I personally don't see the benefits of investing in any altcoin, especially in the long run - so I advise you to look at the Bitcoin chart and statistics which is showing ROI (Return on Investment) from 2013 until today is 5,544.73%.

Hold on. Maybe I don't understand libra correctly than? Sorry if these are a bit newb-like questions. The idea is that you will be able to buy Libra only with Bitcoin right? And Facebook will be offering a discount if you pay Facebook ads with Libra. IF this is true than around 4 Billion USD will go to Bitcoin and than into libra? since everyone will want a discount when paying for facebook ads.

Don't people have any patience anymore? It's not even Bitcoin season yet Smiley

I wouldn't expect alts to show major action before Bitcoin has confirmed the end of the bear market. Of course at this point alts won't be at their cheapest anymore, but I wouldn't bet on alts having reached their bottom before Bitcoin has stabilized.
