I've also noticed that bitcoin has plunged however some of the altcoins remained firm. I don't know what's happening but let's assume this as it is always happening for bitcoin.

alt season has not yet begun and although this year there has been an increase but it is only a temporary recovery which in fact this year's trend has also improved compared to the previous year, so with this slight recovery will at least motivate many updates that might be better in the year ahead until it might have a more positive impact which in fact alt season is expected next year

There is mo specific date or season when the altcoins will rise but I hope most of the time from now on like this year or next year. But now the movement of the altcoins is not increasing because for this now it decreasing the price of it. So if the persok have plan now to buy you can buy it. Everyone are waiting for the altcoins to rise and once it starts this is that day crypto will popular again.

A lot of things to consider before we go into the final says. You have the feelings and I respect that but sounds different from what I've felt and actually what I've seen around. It is pretty obvious that altcoins never pump instead, we saw them keep declining and even potential coins never show some pumps. It surely alts seasons will come but not this time and this year, it still needs time for the market to recover before we're able to see it again.

well the last alt season happen is in 2017 when bitcoin almost reached the $20k value right?so basically correct we need to wait bitcoin first before expecting other pump from side of altcoins

If we think the market is bullish, then it is bullish and if we consider it in the opposite way it is bearish. Why I say this, because the market will be under fluctuation throughout upon which it isn't possible to precise the market trend. Everything we experience out there is based on some predictions.

From the beginning of the year 2018 people keeps murmuring the altcoin season is gonna begin, but nothing big has happened to make a change in the market. After a long the ongoing year gave a better growth with altcoins, and hope this gets better by 2020 which is much expected for the cryptocurrency growth.

yes you're right, hopefully in 2020 there will be changes to the market. no growth has been happening for a long time, and we need that to make the market viable. the only hope is when bitcoin halving later, hopefully when there is a pump for bitcoin approaching halving. and this pump can have an impact on altcoin.

IMO, it has not started yet, and even Bitcoin now is moving sideways, recently it pump back to $10K but was not able to break big resistance, so probably its not time yet and we need more time to break those resistance and I think to make it happen, we need some big news in the market that could trigger FOMO.

alt season will start when bitcoin season starts first mate,anyway if you did purchased that time ?then you will be trapped for today because price is still dropping up to this moment.

but if there is a reason for you to hold longer?then better do as we don't really know when the season will start and all we have is speculations so better buy now and keep the currencies in you hands.

but if you want more safeties then buy at least the top 10-20 .

i basically agree with your opinion. i also see better times ahead than the last 1 or 2 years.

actually, feeling is not enough to predict current prices, but because so much information is strong enough to make prices rise, I agree with that opinion. although the current price of bitcoin is not far from the level of $ 8500, I am pretty sure that the price will recover soon and reach the price of $ 9000 by the end of this month, and most likely will reach a higher price in December. yes I think I still need more time for altcoin, there are no signs of a good price movement specifically. there are still many coin prices below and the volume in some altcoins has not grown, have to wait for more time and I hope it won't be long

It will take a lot of time for the pump to start working again because the altcoin season has not started this year and the downtrend is still overwhelming this market. I think it should be patient and wait for some time to know what trends will happen next because if you choose to invest now the risk will be great. I personally believe the altcoin season will occur in mid 2020.

May be just a small prediction of me but the recent growth of the market makes a lot of investors coming back and it is certain that the market will be interesting next year.

it's not wrong for you to invest in some altcoin that you think is good for the future,
ethereum is known as altcoin which is able to compete with bitcoin, but try to find information about altcoin in the top 100 Coinmarketcap!

Not yet in my opinion. Indeed we are somewhat seeing some recovery to some altcoin but I doubt that it would be the start already of the recovery. It is too early and more likely to happen at the end of this year, as what is expected by the majority of the investors. Investing would be a good idea but be mindful of the risk tht not all alts would be able to recover the downfall this year. Only those which has large community of investors and users are hving chances to more likely to recover and be profitable.
