everyone has their own views when investing, depending on the comfort they get, it can be said that every investment has different benefits and the fact is that there are still many people who believe in investing in the world of stocks. it's just not like it used to be before there was bitcoin news
This means that the popularity of Bitcoin greatly affects enthusiasts in the stock market, I think that's natural because the price movement of Bitcoin is very significant, even though the risk is greater, the possible profit is also proportional to the risk you get, therefore I think the attraction of new people is certainly more on Bitcoin with the hope of getting high profits.

Those that are stock brokers and lovers won't stop their investment in it just because they've heard about bitcoin because old habits die hard like we know but in the case of such of these people, they could add bitcoin to it and add it to their investment portfolio for those that like digital asset and all.
Like Bitcoin investors who may not like stock investments and vice versa, there will still be stock investors who don't like Bitcoin or crypto so sticking to stocks is their choice, so the presence of Bitcoin will not reduce people's interest in stocks, moreover more people who prefer what has appeared first, and because stocks precede Bitcoin then that doesn't change anything, maybe a relatively young stock investor will divide their investment into Bitcoin but won't leave stocks because it's a form of investment diversification.

There are people that switch from being stockholders to Bitcoin holders, but others also do, but it depends on the investors. But mostly, what I've seen and heard is that they stay more on stock because it is less volatile. I mean they can just predict it, or for them, it is easier to jump out when the price drops. Though it is more comfortable for them as they know Bitcoin is volatile, they prefer something less risky, which is stock.

I do both so I'll say whats most obviously true is not everyone has access to these markets anyway.   You need a far greater capital base for stocks and knowledge generally can go back decades where as crypto is still new and lends itself to a younger generation to learn and also develop.  Nobody is really going to let you into leveraged trading of stocks with order book access with full data so you do it properly or easily, you need a ton of education and company backing is required to really do it properly.
Geology always seemed the best route for stocks as you will have an advantage in comprehending mining reports and commodities move fast 10% in a day is a good measure but who do you know who trades stocks using their geology knowledge.  People dont do that, they try to gamble on stocks and they'll come to crypto to gamble on the next hot thing here too.   They arent really in competition so much, crypto expanded the reach of finance and invented something new so crypto is new more grass roots access less dominated by old money also I think its higher risk.

honestly many are just interested in two, usually they have investments in both switching depending on the current market sentiment in these two investments.
but then again as many have said, some people just couldn't that easily switch from their habits same with stock traders, they would hardly switch over just because they see bitcoin unless they've finally find some potential in it.
even like that I'm pretty sure that bitcoin increase in dominance and market capitalisation highly correlates with the fact that money could be coming in from these stock investors or traders.
after all, from what I see cryptocurrencies in general is just more interesting investment, though sometimes you see some good stocks that gains value like back then with tesla.

Right, very few stock investors will turn to bitcoin investing just because they have heard of bitcoin, they may or may not add bitcoin to their portfolio instead.  i also know some people who are investing in stocks, but they are not investing in bitcoin, they are used to the stock environment and also make a profit from it, so they have no reason to switch to bitcoin.  each market will have its own pros and cons, and every investor will have their own preferences, not everyone knows about bitcoin and will love it.

This is actually quite logical, I didnt really think of it this way but it makes sense and definitely could be considered as a smart decision. Cant say that I am sure of it, there is no guarantee of it and all but that still doesnt mean that we are not going to endup with stocks being less popular, maybe it is/will or maybe not. But if there is a case like that then I am sure that it would make sense like that so that makes sense and would be a good reason for it if we could do something like take attention from stocks. Doesnt mean that we will see that, hopefully those trillions in the stock market goes into bitcoin, that would take the price of bitcoin amazingly high and we can make some serious money from it without a doubt. I encourage something like this.

In my country, I can feel that our local stock market is losing its steam to the public of the ever-growing popularity of bitcoin and crypto in general. Although it is not that serious because the biggest volume in our local stocks came from huge institutions from foreign and local. The ordinary traders' volume may not be that serious but if the trend continues, our local stocks will become less popular among us local citizens.

The halving of bitcoin which in the past meant a huge bull run in the whole crypto market is pretty sure to make another huge interest to our local population here in my country. I can only hope that our local government will cater to these huge crypto exchanges like Binance rather than adopting a hostile approach towards them.

Investing in bitcoin is no less profitable than investing in stocks. The main advantage of bitcoin is its instant liquidity (which cannot be said about stocks). Therefore, over time, bitcoin may become more popular than stocks - but its returns will fall considerably as the price of bitcoin rises.
•Volatility
•24/7 Open market

We know that this is the main difference if we do really tend to make up some comparison in between stocks and crypto or even on Forex on which this is their main difference.
We cant really be able to tell definitely about getting less popular just because of Bitcoin because those stock investors might really be able to invest on crypto or Bitcoin but doesnt
mean that they had leave out that stocks market. Why would really be needing to choose up one if we could be having both?

Investors would really be mainly be having this kind of approach because nothing beats out if we do speak about diversification because this is where we do usually be
focusing on.

The popularity of Bitcoin is currently a serious threat to stocks, because many stock investors have switched to using Bitcoin because they are very tempted by the benefits they get, without having to wait a long time they can get very large profits, of course this is far different from the stock market which only gives us a few percent of profits, so currently the stock market must be able to compete with the crypto world, especially bitcoin so that they are equally relied on by investors.

In my point of view, the popularity of bitcoin never reduce the interest of people in stock. There are equal number of people who have an equal interest on both bitcoin as well as stock. There is positive connection between cryptocurrency and stock markets. The correlation between the price of cryptocurrencies and the stock market has increased over time. Bitcoin is giving people an investment alternative because before bitcoin this kind of flexibility was only use to offer by stock market.
Between the stock market and the Crypto market are currently still on their respective tracks. in the meaning of. when the crypto market is on the rise. it seems that the stock market also has the same increase. which means the global economic situation and various news related to the global economy have the same impact both on stocks and on crypto. even news about the decision to increase bank interest and decrease bank interest also had the same impact on these two sectors.

But what I know right now is that in the crypto market, most of the market participants are old people. while the crypto market is more dominated by market participants from among the younger generation. these two markets have different enthusiasts. and only a few are included in both.
Graphically maybe yes, the stock market and the crypto market go according to their respective paths, but if it is classified there will be a difference for the levels of people who play in the stock market and the crypto market.
And if you look at the last few years, bitcoin has followed the stock market in its movements, even though bitcoin has fluctuated more.
From the reaction of the masses that I see today, to be precise, generation Z is more interested in crypto than the stock market, while the millennial generation is divided in two, or plays in both of these markets, judging by the influencers I meet in the world of finance, the average generation millennials view moderately.
But for those older than that, most of them still hold on to stocks and I think that today the stock market is dominated by old investors.
So true. The stock market is indeed more entered by old players. although some young people also entered the stock market. but the majority of young people today are more interested in the crypto market which is indeed much simpler. and the crypto market has the advantage that the market is open 24 hours a day. different from the stock market which has certain hours in each country. and even the stock market has days off on certain days. this is what the younger generation doesn't really like. I personally started to switch completely on the crypto market at the moment.

Seeing from the current development of Bitcoin the stock market has decreased, because many investors have switched to using Bitcoin so that users on the stock market are declining, this can happen because the profits obtained on Bitcoin are greater than the stock market so naturally all there are changes for now, but I believe for the future the stock market will give more percent to investors so that they can continue to survive.
I'm not sure if what you've observed is correct, but I look at this issue between them, there are close relationships related to the economy but not entirely clear in the issue of investor's direction. With the crypto environment we see an increase in interest, but the fact is that the younger generation, and the older people in certain parts, still have traditional investment views such as real estate. stocks, perhaps in part here is the angle of risk they can take into consideration.

Stocks give like 20-30% returns in an year but bitcoin and other crypto coins can give this much return in just one day. At such, do you think that increasing popularity of bitcoin has reduced interest of people in stocks.

I think in some countries, people are really shifting to crypto only and most of their investment portfolio is in the form of crypto instead of stocks. The awareness related to crypto is increasing day by day and this more people are getting included in this crowd. Stocks on the other hand become saturated, people have realized that these stocks are not as much profitable as bitcoins. Also, there are other benefits of bitcoins like it can be used for transactions. This cannot be done with stocks.

I am not being sarcastic, I really want to know what stock could give 20%-30% in a year, I am not a stock expert and my experience in stock is not that much, but my best profit for stock is not even 10%, one of my friend who has much more experience in stock can only get 15%.

About the topic, I don't think people are losing interest in stock, for someone who already invest in stock, Bitcoin only gives them more option for their investment. And to be honest most of stock influencer from my country doesn't like Bitcoin, they always say Bitcoin and Crypto is bad investment.

I do not believe that people are more interested in Bitcoin than stocks or vice versa. The thing is, bitcoin is the New kid on The block and everyone wants to get to know the new kid. This is why the attention has shifted to Bitcoin and less attention is given to stocks. No forgetting that Bitcoin is highly volatile and people could make 10% profit in Bitcoin in 7 days when compared to 10% in stocks in 365 days. As we know smart investors are diversified investors. Their investment portfolios are diversified into crypto, stocks, real estate and other investments. A lot of people are still trying to understand Bitcoin but it has not reduced people's interest in stocks.

I think it does actually, since you're saying Bitcoin is the new kid in the block which isn't a lie and whenever there's a new kid in the block everybody shifts their attention to the new kid and that's what's happening. Now when the kid is very interesting people forget about the old kids and that's what's happening because the market of Bitcoin is very volatile that the price isn't stable and can make people good profit like the 10% increase which you used.

On the news it is Bitcoin everywhere and now we have a US candidate making the news because of his interest in Bitcoin. Stock are becoming outdated and soon tokens representing companies will replace the stocks as companies looks to benefit from crypto market.

It could be that people's interest in stocks is reduced due to the increasing popularity of bitcoin, bitcoin also has the ability to maintain value from recession and inflation, so people see much greater opportunities in bitcoin.

I think in some countries, people are really shifting to crypto only and most of their investment portfolio is in the form of crypto instead of stocks. The awareness related to crypto is increasing day by day and this more people are getting included in this crowd.
There are some people who are involved in bitcoin and there are others who are also involved in stocks, stocks also still have a large market and for now they have not completely lost their market and place. Technological developments make bitcoin considered more advanced and more reliable in maintaining value, thus giving awareness to people to get involved in investing and awareness of investing in bitcoin is getting bigger because many people see a sizable opportunity to make a profit.
