I think in some countries, people are really shifting to crypto only and most of their investment portfolio is in the form of crypto instead of stocks.
Maybe you have different experience, but looking around me at the people who were investing in stocks long before bitcoin showed up, none of them switch to bitcoin completely, or have majority of their portfolio in it so somehow I doubt that people are massively ditching stocks. They diversify their portfolio of course and majority of them included bitcoin, but what's interesting though is that I know one old school stock trader who doesn't want to take care of bitcoin by himself and rather invest via Grayscale.

Having said that, I also know people that only started investing in stocks after they profited via bitcoin, as a way to diversify into something that has less amplitudes in price.

Simple thought: Anything that gives people another investment route will dilute the amount of money they have to invest in other things so yes, it would have reduced interest in stocks simply because if you have "X" to invest and want to buy certain things you have to work you which is more important. So, people will invest less in stocks since they are putting some of their money into BTC.

Moving on with that thought having people invest in other things will drop stock prices a bit so other investors will look elsewhere. Bringing more people into BTC.

Investing in Bitcoin is more profitable than stock but you see these two investment have similar features which make both important to the investor. Bitcoin is a new and so many people that understands the concept are investing more in it than stock, stock was booming then when everybody were buying stocks and profits are been shared. Bitcoin is stored in a wallet and own by one person but stock belongs to ownerships and the profit is share among them.

Bitcoin makes 20-30℅ daily makes Bitcoin superior to invest in than stock because stock takes time and you will need a stockbroker to help you out in trading but Bitcoin is just you P2P which makes it easy for you to monitor your investment. Bitcoin is also used for transactions between boarders.

If the market conditions are very good or can move well, I believe bitcoin and altcoins can provide good returns in one day. But we are talking about the current conditions where the crypto market is in a prolonged bearish season, and we don't know when it will end.

But after the increase in BTC at the end of last year and some altcoins could increase high, it attracted people who had been playing stocks to join the crypto market. And even though they understand the risks of crypto that change all the time, they can accept it because they also face the same thing with stocks. And yes, awareness around crypto is starting to increase, and some people are starting to make crypto an investment alternative to the things they already use.

There's likely a lot of people diversifying in both too. The bitcoin can do 20% in a day is something the right stock can do too if you get one that's particularly volatile (especially one that looks undervalued).

A lot of stocks don't move very fast though and that might be what moves people away from them, I think the 20-30% on the year that's reported is normally investments in the big few tech firms too, if it were more diversified you'd see a lot less active moves (I think funds are using past performce to compete each other and get the highest returns, but it'll probably work).

Stocks give like 20-30% returns in an year but bitcoin and other crypto coins can give this much return in just one day.

This is accurate and is what has been ha with bitcoin being profitable, but in other way, bitcoin can also go the opposite of these if the person involved who happens to be the investors has little knowledge about it or wrongly engage the normal expected procedures with trading bitcoin, holding or selling it, but bitcoin is most preferred than any other stock markets this present days.

At such, do you think that increasing popularity of bitcoin has reduced interest of people in stocks.

Yes of course whenever there is an introduction of something new which is acceptable by the people, then it must have impact towards affecting others that have been in place before it, bitcoin have silence the noise with stock markets, forex ant the likes of their type since fiat as well couldn't overcome the role of bitcoin in the economy, others become a less threat.

Not all stocks have that guarantee for profits and they're also volatile just as bitcoin but it's like they're too soft in terms of volatility. But the same behavior, they can also be hit that much in losses within the day.

At such, do you think that increasing popularity of bitcoin has reduced interest of people in stocks.
There are still people who just want the traditional way of investing and they trust stocks more than bitcoin.

I think in some countries, people are really shifting to crypto only and most of their investment portfolio is in the form of crypto instead of stocks. The awareness related to crypto is increasing day by day and this more people are getting included in this crowd. Stocks on the other hand become saturated, people have realized that these stocks are not as much profitable as bitcoins. Also, there are other benefits of bitcoins like it can be used for transactions. This cannot be done with stocks.
There's still balance in both ways. We know that there are many folks that are into crypto only asset but, there's also more people that knows how to diversify their investments into several assets including the traditional ones like stocks.
