Nice trust rating bro.

How many ASIC companies besides Hashfast did you beg for free chips before your stupid Wasp pipe dream officially failed?

Why is everyone pointing towards his personal projects (not business) when he is pointing out some obvious facts? What do these have in common? Should he not point out the obvious just because he had an unsuccessful personal project?

Look, the idiot is back. Would you mind repeating me your full name, idiot?

We are discussing your crazy fantasy about '1-to-1 no matter what' BTC refunds (AKA windfalls).

You can't defend your ridiculous opinion, so you threaten to attack me personally.

Shoot the messenger if you must.

But that won't change the fact you were and are wrong about the topic at hand:

The 'sue first, ask questions later' strategy was largely your idea and it has turned out (as predicted) to be an expensive, wasteful disaster.

After goading others to hire lawyers to perform their hideously overpriced Kabuki dance in bankruptcy theater, you didn't even follow through and pay for one yourself.

We've expressed our opinion about this matter a million times, and we all agreed your view to be ridiculous indeed.

He is redunculous.

Your blatant appeal to local popularity is duly noted.   Smiley

Outside of this thread, the rest of the universe agrees windfalls are disallowed by common law principles of equity, due process, etc.

Although unpopular here in The Village, independent outside expert opinions from qualified people who matter (IE judges and AGs) recognize the fact risky start-ups go bankrupt all the time, and lack of success does not indicate presence of scam.

Is HardwareReviewer your real name?  According to cedivad, hiding behind a "fake name" means you're "just a puppet," don't ya know?   Roll Eyes

I won't discuss with an unnamed idiot comparing himself and his desire of privacy to Satoshis'. You simply don't deserve one.

It doesn't matter if I'm Satoshi or not.

The point is argumentum ad hominem is a logical fallacy.

Whether I "deserve" to use the commonplace practice of adopting a 'handle' for 'cyberspace' is irrelevant.

You can't defend your absurd demands for a windfall, much less your odious and destructive calls to litigation.

So you attack me.  For having a handle.  Oh brother!   Roll Eyes

Since you seem taken aback by the concept, here is a ticket for the clue train:

You called me out with my real name several times. I need to know the name of the idiotic puppet I'm talking to.

Or are you just a puppet hiding behind a fake name?

Because you are not here just wasting expensive DB space given how hard it is for thermos to run this website, right?

You use your real name as your forum handle.  Addressing you as such isn't "calling you out."

Besides, our names are not relevant to the discussion.

Does Satoshi's fake name online handle make him a puppet too?  No, that's just a stupid, clumsy cheap shot people use when they have no better response.

You are just mad and threatening me because I dared to point out how silly, harmful, and pointless your 'give us all 1-to-1 BTC windfalls or we'll sue' strategy turned out to be.

You didn't mention your name, Idiot.

You know who else didn't mention his name?  Satoshi.

For the purpose of this discussion consider my name to be 'iCEBREAKER.'

Why do you change the subject to discuss something so trivial and unrelated?

Is it because you wish to distract from your foolish 'let's demand windfalls and sue if we don't get them' strategy, which is (except for the lawyers) ending in nothing but losses?

Remember your stupid, libelous 'secret self-mining' conspiracy theory?

It was hilarious when the supposed secret mine's pool operator spoke up, just to prove you are a liar.

What is not hilarious is that you helped force Hashfast to spend a fortune on lawyers, instead of paying refunds and/or building our miners.

On an unrelated note, seems hashfast fogbugz page is still up, https://hashfast.fogbugz.com/default.asp
The service they used to promise the 1 to 1 BTC refund. Nice.

Where does the ToS "promise" a 1 to 1 BTC refund regardless of what the USD/BTC ratio does?

Is it right after the "promise" to put your coins in a secret escrow, and use derivatives to ensure nothing can possibly go wrong while HF builds you an ASIC for free, with zero risk from adverse business conditions?

Can I still send my ballot for acceptance or rejection of 'the plan', or is it already too late? Embarrassed

You can always.  Send it via email and you will get a response.

Done. Thanks.

HF units are continually failing. A request for RMA with CoolIT failed, quoting a "special agreement" with HashFast.

I don't know how other users have suffered, but all of my Sierra's and BabyJets have now cooling that failed.

The Sierra's were actually the first ones to die, overheating. And those were in a data center.

The BabyJets, in an uncontrolled environment (aka warehouse), lasted much longer, but are now fading in and out with overheating errors. Great quality, remember?

Is there anybody interested in buying boards without working cooling? I can't be bothered to buy and install new cooling blocks, especially with the summer coming up...
