They are in full legal lock-down mode. Say nothing or do nothing that can be used against you later. We're just along for the ride now. See you all on Jan 1st. I hope to get better news earlier, but I've hoped twice before and been burned. Thanks BFL, Avalon, and now HF.

Reputation has a financial value (but maybe not tangible one). I'm not sure a good legal advisor would really be advising do not speak. If they were in legal lockdown, that is more likely to mean that legal is standing over PR's shoulders, but not squashing them.

Media silence normally is a phase of a pre-IPO company that is mandated by the SEC.

I'm not sure why there is a suggestion that "5 days ago" is some kind of unreasonable expectation for communication. I see about 500 BabyJets on the Order 1 chain - and this forum has Sierra and Batch 2 people in it. Even if 25% of the forum is a customer, there is easily $1m of customers here asking for contact, it's not too much to ask to be coddled.

I can walk into a Fleming's Steakhouse and I have 5 waitstaff constantly interrupting my dinner conversation to make sure I'm happy. If I go into McDonald's with the same expectation, I'm going to be disappointed and back in the kitchen, iCEBREAKER is going to be talking shit about me for asking for too much - my food is cooking, can't you see I just put the fries in the cooker? Why don't I just relax, it's coming, stop being so impatient, here are some memes! He's absolutely right. That's too high of an expectation at McDonald's.

But the question is: does HashFast want to be Flemings or McDonalds?

The official HashFast account just posted a pic of the CEO with chips in-hand   less than 5 days ago  .

What more do you want?  Breakfast in bed?  Roses on your pillow?   Cheesy

Talk about overly attached customers.   Roll Eyes

The picture was posted 5 days ago. They got the chips on the 8th.

I know you're not personally capable of such feats, but trust you can at least imagine what it's like to manage the colossal task of juggling hundreds of moving parts distributed among dozens of teams.

at least we know now that you've been trolling all along!   100's of moving parts!!!

So haven't read any of the 5 pages of personal attacks back and forth.  Is there any news/updates?

I would be less worried if there was a good way to contact HashFast. Even their "Expert Help" phone number just to an answering service where the (admittedly friendly) woman who answers just takes down your name, number and email address to be sent to HashFast. There does not appear to be any way to call them directly that I can find.

EHRMEHRGEHRD how are they busy with the chips if they have no substrate???  JEESUSFML How exhausting can twiddling their thumbs be!!!

C'mon DPoS, we know you're not really so obtuse as to not know the answer to those questions.

It's legit to want them to be more consistently communicative.

HashFast is being consistently communicative; they posted a pic of the CEO with chips in-hand less than 5 days ago.

Why not wait at least a week before demanding MOAR?

Reasonable people understand they are extremely busy with the chips you just saw delivered.

Dontcha think asking for daily updates is just a little bit 'high maintenance?'

Talk about overly attached customers.

I generally agree with you, Icebreaker, especially WRT cedivad, but that last post is a one from a little too great an apologist for Hashfast.

Really, they are substantially behind their 'expected' shipping dates, legitimate questions have been raised about some of their statements about being "on track", and they've recently said very little that wasn't first coaxed and then carefully parsed.  They also haven't directly acknowledged the biggest whopper issues with the MPP - that at 400% their first batch customers may still lose, and later customers may ironically do better.

It's legit to want them to be more consistently communicative.

I don't want neither pictures nor roses, I just want that great item I paid nearly $30,000 for, which will give me back around $100/day for the next couple of days if I get it tomorrow and bullshit if I get it in 2 months.

Chad Spackman - Who the fuck is this guy?
What? U don't know Spacko??

And now my try:

[incomprehensible paranoid copypasta gibberish]

I have to admit, in spite of all the work it took, my post was really confusing and hard to read, my sincere apologies!!

Another question I have, since a while to be honest:

What is your skin in this little drama iCEBREAKER? Despair?

HashFast has chips in hand.  They are extremely busy getting those chips assembled into mining machines.

They have far better things to do than whisper sweet reassurances into your ears every night.

So of the 5 members on the executive team, which ones are "busy getting those chips assembled" ? And which one should be whispering sweet reassurances into or ears?

Is it:
Simon Barber | Chief Technology Officer - Assembling Chips for sure
Eduardo deCastro | CEO - Half assembling half ear whispering
Amy Woodward | VP of Engineering - Assembling Chips
John Skrodenis | VP Marketing & Sales - ear whispering champ
Chad Spackman - Who the fuck is this guy?
