If you are mining scrypt only, you should be able to run all 10 on one PSU right?

Assuming they are the same as from lightningasic, each miner, when controlled by the controller, draws 6 watts (rated at 8 watts) in LTC only mode, or a total of 60 watts for 10. The PSU is rated at 30 amps at 12 volts (360 watts). More than enough power.

Note: I tested them while they were running, and not startup. Don't know if there is higher power draw at startup (activate BTC core at startup?).

Its really hard to get all those tiny wires into the screw down terminal.

Also, I measured the power consumption of all 10 miners + controller + hub + 2 PSUs and it came out to 108watts on my kila-watt meter...so yes it should be able to run off of just 1.

Can anyone confirm if this is a valid replacement PSU for the one that ships with the miners?  http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005CLBZRO/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1G6FH2VD75Q7T&coliid=I28K8HE9ZL5LU1

There's discussion (& screenshots) on LightningAsic -thread about their controller being able to be upgraded to hash at 500kh/s per unit in stead of the 300kh/s per unit. Can these be upgraded on similar way, or is it just the LightningAsics with custom firmware..?

I have a set of 10 of these from LightningASIC...do NOT rely on that.  Per my earlier post on this page, the firmware is janky and bug ridden.  Lots of folks (including myself) have to spend a fair amount of time babysitting these.  I'm willing to make a trade off on hashrate if it means I don't have to spend lots of time monitoring the devices as is the case with the LighteningASIC firmware.

That's also the reason I was asking Hashra a question about this...lets hope they do!  Because at the price they're offering these if its much more stable then it's totally worth buying these from them.  If its going to have the same issues as LightingASIC users have mentioned then I'll pass.  Make things worse, I was sleeping last night and heard a pop -- one of the PSUs blew out!  So now I'm out a PSU to power 5 of the 10 miners. Sad

You guys have serious balls ordering something that has a 90 warranty and absolutely no reputation.

Thanks! I've always thought so.

So the power consumption of a 6mh scrypt device is 100w or less I hope.

Otherwise its just for farms who have limited space I guess

@HASHRA

On your website you state the units you're buying are direct from Gridseed and not modified the same way as the guys from LightingASIC are doing.

I guess my questions are as follows:

1. I've got a LightingASIC 10-miner "set".  For the most part its stable, but the controller firmware/software is quite janky (alpha in my opinion).  Do you have any screen shots/videos of the "stock" Gridseed version of this controller firmware/software?  I'm trying to gauge which one is better.

2. Are you able to ship to the USA?

3. Maybe I missed it but what's the warranty policy on the miners, PSUs, etc.?

Thanks!

Hi Hashra,

I hope I don't come off seeming pushy, but I see you answered several other posts and skipped past mine.  I am interested in being your customer but before I do I was hoping to get some answers to the questions above I had posted.

If you don't have the answers, that ok, I would just appreciate some form of response.

Thanks! Grin

Just ordered a 6MH bundle w/ PSU from you Hashra (order #241). You should really start your own thread instead of this one debating if you are scamming people. This isn't a good place to earn positive PR or boost customer confidence.

Has anyone received product from Hashra or is this their first round of equipment from Gridseed?

HASHRA - MINING TO THE MOON

Correct me if I'm wrong but at current prices = 3MH/s @ €1765.15, it will take at least 130 days to ROI not including power costs. (0.03BTC/day @ 3MH/s).

The trend is that BTC/day/MH is dropping, so I'm not so sure this is a good investment...

What are your thoughts?

Sorry but this is something you will have to decide and see if it works for you.

We are committed on selling miners that give the opportunity to get a good return on your investment.
We think as these are able to mine both algorithms it will change the game slightly.
You will not turn this thing on and forget about it, there are opportunities in seeing what Crypto is worth mining today and mining that coin and then maybe choosing something else tomorrow.

This miner does give you that opportunity to flip and choose a different Crypto to mine whenever you want.

The skill will be choosing what to mine.

Hi

So if I purchase today and pay using credit card,
7 days verify.

Will these then be shipped on 3rd feb?

Plus say another weeks shipping and I will receive miner on about 10th feb

Is this all about right?

Also,  How many units have you in stock?

If you purchase today by credit or debit card will confirm payment is verified in 7 days. We're sorry to have to do this but we have to do everything we can to limit ourselves to card fraud. We also only ever ship to the address that the card is linked to.
You would not believe how many card fraud attacks our merchant account gets hit with. It's scary.

So basically as soon as your payment is verified then it goes into shipping. Currently we are looking at most orders going out within 7 days of when the payment is verified though we are saying to our customers not to expect anything for up to 14 days in case we get swamped with orders.
Obviously we suggest you use a payment method that is quicker if you can. Bitcoin is obviously the quickest.

From now on we will be receiving regular deliveries to our warehouse in Shenzhen from Gridseed. We will be getting a delivery from them every 3-4 days from now on so stock numbers are not an issue anymore. If we get a big order then we can ramp up our orders with Gridseed. We met them this week at their new office, you can see some of the dodgy pics on our Facebook page if you want….  Wink facebook.com/hashraminers

Well... its passed 22nd for most of the world. Especially Hong Kong. Still dont see an open in the orders. *sigh*

I know you are probably excited about getting this out the door. But I always follow the idea of under promise and over deliver.

So I guess I will just keep an eye out... then? If you send out emails will they be heads up or will it be after the fact?

Emails have been sent out, it was a "Heads up" so people were aware we will start taking orders again. We did not take any pre-orders other than the first batch that we have already sold.

Sorry to keep you waiting on this.

No it's not a scam, these units are actually in existence but good luck getting any of them.  Bigtime farms + group buys = the common miner aint gettin' nothin any time soon.

Thats right Sir, no scams here please…

We came out here in China to make sure we get a constant supply and it looks like it paid off.

We will be sending out our first batch of 700 units in a few days and then from then one we have secured a constant supply from Gridseed.
Our warehouse in Shenzhen will receive units from Gridseed every couple of days from next week.

The Gridseed factory is working at full capacity now and we are confident we will be able to provide many units for the "Common Miner".  Wink

Thanks for your reply. Its the 22nd now... or just now in my time zone. I hope to be grabbing me some! I will post here if I succeed at getting them.

Sorry but we are not going to meet the 22nd February to start taking orders again.

We will open up orders again on our website at 06:00 PST 23rd February.

We are sorry for the delay in taking more orders but we are a new company and it is critical for us not to take on more orders than we can fulfil right now.

Thanks all for your patience.
