Isn't BCC sort of considered an altcoin at this stage though?

Yes it is and exactly the reason why this thread is in altcoin discussion section.

I dumped mine the first day for 0.2 btc of pure profit since btc never dropped much during the fork.

Isn't BCC sort of considered an altcoin at this stage though?

Thats why its in the "Altcoin Discussion" board. Irrespective of how much it sells for (even more than BTC), it is still an Altcoin despite what people say.
correct its still alternative to bitcoin and will serve its purpose so even the value went up bitcoin still the main basis of crypto currency
but as of this moment it seems that support will no longer played with it and the value is dropping.

I dumped mine yesterday after I was finally able to get it off of my Trezor. Claimed directly to HitBTC.

Got .105 for it today it's at .085

If it goes low enough I might buy a bit back to hold

I had some left over change on an exchange which I dumped promptly.
Now however, the question becomes if the market will reverse? When will BCC bottom out? When is it time to buy back in?
It seems to me that too much time, money and effort was put into it for it to completely flatline...

Dumped all will go back @ .01 BCH/BCT if it comes to that, but just the amount i sold x 15 Wink

Maybe the resistance breaks if enough dump block hit so far pretty stable at 10% of BTC hitbtc was a good indicator for that since they were trading early.

Too late for dumping...
The price is very cheap now. You have to wait till some group decide to pump it again.  And unfortunately it can take too long time.
May be the big boy bitmain will take the action to pump again but how come ? BCH is an altcoin. Altcoins will compete with altcoin too like ETH, waves and other cryptos. BTC is the main coin in the world. No other coin defeat it. Satoshi Nakamoto is future view are ending now. There will be something happened until the BTC are all mined.  Let's see the drama of the cryptocurrency.

Since its a free money, i will just hold it and stash it away and hoping that price today will be 500% higher in the next coming weeks, Months. and also waiting for more miners so confirmations will be faster.

i dumped or will dump as soon as they reach the exchange. I don't see it as a potentialy good altcoin.

I sold the BCC yesterday because I was skeptical about this altcoin and today the price of BCC is very low. At present, BCC prices are continuously declining today and there is no sign of increasing. I think BCC will become a normal altcoin like the other altcoins

Have you dumped your BCC yet? If yes, explain the following:

1) What method did you use to dump it? Did you get the split from a Bitcoin Core wallet or other method to store your private keys?
2) If you selected an exchange, in what exchange did you send your coins to receive the split?
3) Have you sold yet? If so, in what exchange and how much have you sold?

Why must dump the BCC,it just free from bitcoin split
For me if i have a profit i will sell it

I sold some and have kept some also for long term. I didn't get much anyway to make an impact on my portfolio or my income so it wasn't too much of an issue for me in the first place. I would have gotten over 1.5 worth if I was able to upload more BTC but I couldn't upload in time before all exchanges closed btc deposits.

I dumped my private keys and sent all my coins to a different cold storage wallet, imported the addresses into bitcoin abc, sent all bitcoin cash to hitbtc exchange and got away with around 10% more bitcoins than I originally had, good times. I hope we'll see another fork again soon.

Sold up my Bitcoin cash when i received it. I had my Bitcoins on Bittrex and it gave me the Bitcoin cash on the next day itself. I didnt expect Bittrex to open the trade for Bitcoin cash that much soon but it did. There was a huge wall of buy and sell and I sold my coins at at the price of $520 and the same evening I found that the price has crossed $1000. Was regretting the decision to sold that quickly , I could have just made double the coins but then its free money. So not much of regret.
