I don't see why people wouldn't hold for a few months at least, regardless of what happens it's still a 100% gain on your investment. Personally, I will reevaluate the coin at the end of the year.

Holding for the foreseeable future. I had a hard time of splitting it out, to give me the option to sell it, but since then it's gone up from $200 - I'm going to give it the chance to prove its worth.

Yes i already sell all of the my bitcoincash, there is no reason why i manage to store it in my wallet, because the bitcoincash token is dumped actually right now the price of it is so low, so id better to sell it all
I don't think so . BCC is still a good market with many investors and developers still interested in this potential market as it is certain that in the future this market may overtake ETH and will stand behind the BTC.

A sense to hold it? This is an interesting coin but in fact it does not make sense. After segwit of mempool empty transactions are made instantly and BCC just doesn't make sense.

I dumped mine within the first hour of the fork, probably the dumbest move I've done so far in my trading history =/

I consider BCC the second child of Bitcoin and I have decided to keep BCC for at least 3 years. I think this investment will help me get more profit because BCC is supported by many big partners including Bitman

I'm using livecoin for my needs and no I have not sold my BCC coins yet. I got them after the split from my bitcoin wallet and sent them immediately to livecoin exchanger when it was made available by the exchanger. The price hiked a lot but I'm considering to keep bcc for more than two years from now. I'm seeing little potential I it's rise and anyway the coin is free of charge. It's no matter keeping it for that long because I wouldn't mind loosing it in the bad times. But also keeping it for that long would be even better and might just grab hundred times the current profit.

I'm still hodling, I knew from the very start that Bitcoin Cash is for long term hold just like Bitcoin. As bitcoin grows higher bitcoin cash will eventually follows. A win win situation for all hodlers.

what do people think the long term future of this coin will be though??? what is the ceiling and the floor for this coin, i hear some people thinking the floor can be under $100..... also do we think BTC will fork off again into more coins in the future ?? This crypto currency market is crazy, BTC at all time highs now dipping too, gotta be prepared for these up and downs

It depends on the take-up of segwit. And also who runs the lightning hubs. If they're run by banks, then we've just got the existing financial system grafted onto bitcoin so they can take their cut. Which then means that if you want the original bitcoin, you need BCH.

I'd hold your BCH, "just in case".

Have you dumped your BCC yet? If yes, explain the following:

1) What method did you use to dump it? Did you get the split from a Bitcoin Core wallet or other method to store your private keys?
2) If you selected an exchange, in what exchange did you send your coins to receive the split?
3) Have you sold yet? If so, in what exchange and how much have you sold?
Actually here i got all the opportunity for the splitting because i was not aware like most of the people that bitcoin will give bch also , so i putted my btc at yobit , cryptopia , mycellium , blockchain .
In the exchange i got directly the BCH coin but in the mycellium and blockchain i needed to do hard work to find the way of getting my bch .After see 10-20 videos at YouTube , i tried to get and finally i made the splits of my bch coins easily ( private key and pgrase backup words for blockchain )
But it was really complicated for me to split or not because i was thinking doubtfully about the electroncash ( which was not recommend by anyone ) and  also about coinomi but finally i used coinomi and i got my bch without much tension because reviews about coinomi was better in the forum .

I sold before the split, but not on ViaBTC. I sent my bitcoin to OKEX and bought BCS (bitcoin segwit) with it, which was trading at a discount due to what BCH was being priced in for.

I'm holding onto BCH...and why not? It came with the split so that's 100% profit.
I had small amounts of BTC on Bittrex and Tradeqwik.

A few years ago Stellar was giving away free lumens too. I kind of wish I held onto them so now I'm giving BCH the benefit of a doubt. Live and learn, eh?

I am still holding my Bitcoin cash as i believe that Bitcoin cash is the biggest competetor of Bitcoin and it will show some growth in future. I am planning to hold them for a while.
