There was a time when I just bet for the sake of betting. So I guess it's addiction already.  In the past, I also felt the urge to play games and there were times when I forced it even if I had priorities to do. And then I felt bad when luck was not on my side so it's better if I just gave a pass and did my other priorities. But they are not something serious because I always bet according to my financial status. And it is very important for us to continue learning lessons in life to become a better person. I still bet regularly with minimal amounts and I am having fun with it.

Gambling is a very serious addiction who gets completely addicted to this addiction will lose all happiness and peace in his life he will always be in depression. An uncle I know is completely addicted to gambling now he likes to spend quiet time for gambling. He is now like  At one point he lost all his money and property. Now he is neglected by his family. His family does not look at him as well as before. So we must always be careful of gambling. So that we can live together with our family.
That is the result of gambling addiction, which can use up all the things we have and we won't even realize that we don't have anything anymore. A person who gambles too often can experience gambling addiction, especially if he cannot control himself while gambling and does not have the awareness to reduce his gambling activities. We have probably seen the impact experienced by someone who gambles frequently, so we should not experience it and must be able to prevent this. If someone is addicted to gambling, it can disrupt their relationships with other family members so we must be able to prevent gambling addiction.

Family shoudn't abandon one of their own, didn't they know he was an addict to look for ways to help him. If family are observant, they can notice when one of their own is going through a rough time in life. Addiction isn't something you fight alone because you can't defeat it alone. You need professional assistance from people that have dealt with similar problem before and also need the encouragement of your family members or love one so you have a reason to keep going.

I haven't been an addicted gambler but I know people who have been addicted and they're doing better now. One way to help an addict is to understand why he's addicted. People get addicted for just loving bets while other individual get addicted because they're looking for money and depends on gambling. For this type of individuals, as you help them also provide them with opportunity to earn without having to gamble and they'll stop been addicted.

I see a lot of people here talking about gambling responsibly. Yes, that is something very true, but have you ever been a gambling addict?

To be honest in the past I have spent a lot of money gambling. What I mean here is that I spent all my savings on gambling. Maybe the nominal amount is not that big but it makes me feel like a gambling addict. I spent 5 months of my savings on gambling. Currently I am aware and am in the stage of improving my own financial condition. Have you ever felt like a gambling addict? and how much did you lose in gambling?

I would not call myself a gambling addict but there were times I lost more than I could afford to. In past I spent hours in gambling sites. made 10+ sports bet a day for some months. And played dices and crash till I emptied my balance.
I was highly interested in horse racing as they were fast and stats readily available. I also loved using martingle and its mods on dice and crash. Sports bet were easier to plan but dice and crashes were emotionally motivated. A day, few years ago, after some spectacular loss, I rage bet all of my crypto holdings at lost it all. I was sick and depressed for a week. After that I have highly restricted my gambling desires and lost no more than in 3 digits.
Gambling is done for fun but no one can understand when this fun gradually turns into addiction.  When one wins a lot from gambling he cannot stop gambling.  And even when a gambling addict loses, he cannot quit gambling.  Because it is very difficult to control yourself in these two cases.  But when someone's winnings and losses in gambling are almost equal, he feels boring towards gambling and can control himself and quit gambling immediately.  Extra wins make gamblers greedier and extra losses panic.  So both of these take away control from ourselves

Addiction to gambling isn't something anyone will want to experience as it's actually like giving all your life to gambling and you can't do anything in life without involving gambling related activities because even some ordinary arguments with a friend you can equally involve yourself in a bet with them. Though I've lost huge amount of money is gambling and I must say that keeping gambling records sometimes also helps in reducing the rate at which one gambles. I was deeply involved in gambling that sometimes I sell important things just to get money to play gamble so a day came I now check my gambling records and I discovered the huge amount I've lost so far so I got provoked and started reducing my gambling rate gradually though I still play gamble but it's not like an addiction because sometimes I spend weeks without gambling unlike before that I don't spend a day without gambling. So keeping these records helped me out of being addicted to gambling.

I believe that if you have a single episode in which you gambled compulsively this not means you are person who has an addiction in gambling but Just you're a person who has not been able to limit his spending possibilities!

going over budget happens often. Have you learn lesson? The amount that you Lost Is the valide of this lesson (would said a friend of mine when talking about forgeries....)
The solution for the future Is pretty easy.
Set up a cold wallet or multisignature wallet to avoid this problem in the future

Is that true? I thought I had become a gambling addict because I spent all my savings. Yes, at that time I forgot myself and my emotions so I chased after losing in gambling. I thought I would be able to get my money back but the longer I gambled, the more money I lost.

We have gamble addicts and we have irresponsible gamblers, you may be an irresponsible gambler but not yet an addict, you become an addict when you let your irresponsible behavior towards gambling become part of you, so stuck inside of you that you don't even know when to call it a quit anymore, even when you're loosing so badly, you still wanna go on gambling until you're totally exhausted, left with nothing more but regret and pain. That's when you become an addict, although the line between an irresponsible gambler and an addictive gambler is very thin. The moment you find yourself spending more than you're supposed to, then you've gotta stop there and turn back else if that persists then you'll end up becoming a chronic addictive gambler.

When you are addicted even your savings will also be used for it. Good thing that I have never done that, although I've got a few savings in the bank but I have never used any of them for gambling.

Most of the time, when I have cash in the past, I just use amount that's spare to me for any recreational actvity like gambling.

Never got to that point but I became active gambler before.

The thing you mentioned is likely to be done by gamblers who have experienced severe addiction, because when the heavy addict has run out of his remaining money or the money they usually use for gambling, they will do anything to get back to gambling. first, maybe they will do what you said, by using the savings they have. And it could be that they use up all their savings because of the pursuit of victory that is difficult to get. Secondly, they may borrow from their family, friends, and even the bank, with the risk of not playing. But if they borrow to the bank maybe it can still be said to be uncertain, because it will involve many parties. Third, they can commit crimes. and this is what I am most afraid of,  maybe not only me but their own families will also feel what I feel, because of the addiction that will have a dangerous bad impact on themselves or even others, because by committing this crime it must involve other people who do not know anything. with its high risk it can even involve the authorities but they tend to do it because of the high desire to gamble so they can't help it.

Many people are reluctant to call themselves gambling addicts, when in reality we play one or two games almost every day. Background, financial conditions and environmental conditions greatly influence a person ability to gamble, the supporting and main factors are money. I think it's fine as a small form of entertainment, but don't drain all your savings so that it will cause you problems in the future.

If you have promised yourself never to be involved in gambling again, then I think that falls into the category of gambling addiction. Because if it hasn't reached that point, I don't consider it a form of gambling addiction. This means that we still have control over various invitations and interests in all things related to gambling.
When something is done repeatedly, especially in games, it can be said that they are addicted. Some of them just don't dare admit that they have an addiction because maybe they just don't want to be considered bad because of their behavior, but there is a certain threshold that needs to be understood and that not all addictions are bad.

Responsible gamblers are less likely to admit that they have a serious addiction to gambling. They can lose thousands of dollars in one day and then lose thousands more the next day. As long as they can still be responsible, they will not realize that their behavior is a gambling addiction, only that they will not feel the impact because of financial power.

Well this is a question that is very clear and simple to ask, firstly as far as I am concerned my answer is no, and it is very easy to determine that it was not like that because basically when I decided to play dice, well I believed that I was addicted, I was addicted and no, it stands out that when I lost what I had, because if I no longer wanted to bet like I was doing everything, because I was using the martingale a lot, you know this is something that should never be done because basically it is done harm oneself for this reason I think I did not become addicted, because unlike many when I lost my money, it was very difficult for me to collect it again, because I think that is true for anyone, so in this order of ideas One must be very careful with this, there are people who do not care that they have lost their money, because what they do is start lending money and that is an indication that they are addicted, so that is what should be avoided. .

Now, in this order of things we have always seen that the best thing for these cases is to make it clear that we can make a difference, there are many people who can be very addicted and we can give them some advice, but in my case it was not So, I thought I was an addict, but my handbrake was money, after that I learned to play more intelligently, I knew that the value that has to be given to money is very big, if there is 1 usd You have to take great care of yourself, it's our money, it's hard to earn and you have to appreciate it, otherwise you can't do anything else but be at best like the gasoline that moves us anywhere, not only in the casino but in anywhere, with money you can do many things, without money everything is more difficult, I personally always see that playing in a casino you must do whatever it takes to save our money, to not fall into temptations and to be able to manage our money. budget to avoid falling into addictions.

Yes, money is earned and should be valued. Your experience with money loss as a 'handbrake' to addiction is instructive. It emphasizes responsible gambling, where one must always walk the line between fun and compulsiveness. Your statement about people easily borrowing money to gamble is spot-on. Addiction is clearly evident, a danger that needs more awareness. Your experience of learning to play smarter and value each dollar shows the necessity of financial caution in gambling.

Gambling as entertainment that demands fiscal management is a new perspective. Gambling should be fun, not a way to make money and risk addiction. Many can learn from this balanced perspective, notably how to value money and spend it properly in gaming and life.

One of the things that we can be calm about is that we are people who have a personality already defined, if we decide to buy the things that we can do in particular, they can be many and very good, therefore by having a way of reaction we can influence In the type of person that we are, some do not react the same, me because above all I know that I must not fail my children, my family is and will always be first, starting from that instance is that at least I manage myself, some others People have the purpose and priorities of other people or other goals, other people to take care of or other objectives that will be very important, if we lose that focus, it is a little easier for addiction to enter us, then based on This can be said because everything necessary could be given so that we can have many beautiful things and put them as a priority to have something to look forward to and not let them fall in any type of circumstance, is what I can say about this.

I know about the Dollar because I make a Comparison of how I was in University , sometimes 1 point could pass a subject, and it was very difficult if you didn't have it, in fact if there isn't that point around you could hardly pass a matter, then it is analogous to what can happen now with a casino, you always have to take into consideration everything that can be achieved with 1 dollar, sometimes 1 dollar can save from any event that Arises in the game , it can save any door winner, otherwise everything could go Overboard due to lack of 1 dollar, this is sometimes so decisive, we will always have to accept that , with money we have no life in a casino ,  for that Reason we must take care of it and try not to spend it in a crazy way because if not we are condemning Ourselves and that is not the idea ,  the idea is that we have our money there, or to be able to enjoy, there is no other way, Perhaps my perspective is Different from that of many but I Consider that it is one of the best.

A gambler has to learn a lot about gambling. Gambling is not that easy, maybe gambling depends a lot on luck but before luck we need enough understanding of gambling to gamble. But we have to see if we are choosing a right site for gambling.
but unfortunately not many people will care about this. especially if they have entered the category of addicted gamblers, they just want to gamble and gamble again, with high hopes of winning in the next round. Some people even imagine that they will get the jackpot in the next round of gambling. This is bad because often addicted gamblers don't understand that they really have a lack of knowledge about gambling, and also of course a lack of luck. but sometimes, unfortunately, they are not aware that they have entered the category of addicted gamblers, and are always confident to continue gambling.

All that is within self-control; you need to manage your ego. Simply allocate a budget for gambling and strive not to exceed it If you win, consider continuing for a short while and then stop If you lose it's essential to stop  as it might not be your day. Avoid becoming overly attentive to losses let it go , I've gambled on weekends but with a modest budget, emphasizing the importance of approaching it as a form of entertainment Ultimately, it depends on luck. I can say I have never been addicted.

Self-control and financial management are the most important because with these two things we can ensure that we do not spend a lot of money on gambling. We must be aware that we cannot possibly win every day, there are times when we win and there are times when we lose, that is a normal thing in gambling, we must be aware of this and not force ourselves to chase losses.

Gambler who do gambling will get addicted with the range of 70-80 percentage of the participants in the gambling. The fact was the gambling was the more attractive game and addiction will not affect the gambler at the controlled approached to the gambling. If the gambler had loss the money again and again in the gambling site.So he may get affected mentally in the gambling and start to bet by selling the holding property to the gambling sites. The gambler who had free money can engage to the gambling site and play the responsible game to avoid of getting addicted to the gambling sites. The certain steps can be followed to get away from the gambling addiction.

Gambling addiction is not something to wish for at some point this is because the result is sometimes unbearable and unsatisfying results to some level,  and more also gambling addiction is better avoided and not to be any attempt to ever get addicted because quitting also is almost an impossible thing.

But then also,  we have to check the level of our gambling involvement because that week alone,  I have gambled more than I can afford to lose and it caused me a lot of pain since this week is not my lucky week,  but that can not make me call myself a gambling addicts
As long as you accept it as a real thing that can to happen to you, it's a possible avoid it. Because accepting that as a real thread makes you take serious countermeasures against it.

But most people with addictions deny their addiction and often can't see gambling or anything else affecting to them. Addicts don't often know they are addicts, because it might not be affecting to them as much it's affecting to their closest circle of family/friends. Of course there are cases where everyone else sees something as a problem even if you are handling it, but if you know that you have trouble keeping it in check, i am advising making strict rules for yourself and following them. Because bending the rules slightly leads to no rules what so ever. As lying to oneself is easier that anything else.

Being addicted to gambling will surely lead to a lot of waste, that is, depending on how long the gambler was or is addicted before he or she became free, let say that he or she was addicted for one year, then, it means that the money he or she would waste on gambling in those months of addiction, would be an amount of money that could have been used to do something very meaningful like set a small business or something, and this is not including the time the individual spent on gambling, time that he or she would have used for something much more profitable.

All i am saying is that, being addicted to gambling, even if it's for six months, is very bad, especially because, even if as an addict you end up winning a huge amount of money, it will be very difficult to do anything meaningful with that money, you will still end up spending everything on gambling again, that is, return the money back to where it came from, something that would have serves a means to a better and more fulfilling life.

That's one of the effects that will be suffered by someone who has entered the addiction phase, you said something that is very much in line with the facts although I'm sure some of the gamblers are not concerned or even aware of the financial or economic decline in their lives. If the amount of loss is calculated over a period of one year then yes it makes sense as you said, maybe they will be able to make something meaningful, such as for example opening a small business if the money they have used for gambling is basically collected in one year, or for something else that is quite profitable and can put certainty.  It's not just about money, because yes it's true that if we talk about how much time  they have spent gambling I'm sure it must be very long and if they allocate that time for positive things such as adding a part-time job then obviously they will get enough money for additional living, instead of spending it just gambling.

In the case of addiction I honestly wouldn't say how much time is not too bad for someone who is addicted, of course no matter how long they are addicted it is still a bad thing that they should avoid. Although yes you have got a big enough win according to you but I'm sure all gamblers will feel that no matter how big the money is it will definitely run out quickly.
