People would really be having always that denial on which it is really that common having this way because we cant really just that accept that we are addicted to it until we would be able to find out
that we are already wasting up money or spending up huge in gambling. In terms of addiction to gambling then i havent put up myself on such condition on which i have always that kind of self control when it comes to gambling and also in other means of spending. Budget and moderation would really be that crucial from time to time. Making yourself getting addicted with gambling
will really put you into so much trouble on which it would really be just that common sense that you should be avoid this thing in the first place if you dont like on getting wrecked up.

I am not a gambling addict, and I am wide open to accepting all opinions, as long as they lead me in a better direction.

I am not a gambling addict, but as long as we are still gambling, the possibility of us becoming a gambling addict is always there. Because on several occasions we can behave stupidly and become uncontrollable when gambling. So we behave carelessly which ultimately causes significant losses.

Gambling addiction is a complex and difficult problem, but it is not difficult for someone to become addicted to gambling. someone can easily fall into a gloomy valley in gambling just because of a small mistake.

Gambling has a way of trying to change us totally from who we are to something else. There was a time in my life when I was gambling more than expected. I was gambling with every single penny that gets to my hand. I will rather use the money to gamble than buy food or clothes. There got to a point I started borrowing to gamble and I will lose the money. People around started making jocks with my new gambling habit. My family began to complain about it. It was then I know I was going beyond the lines so I had to make adjustments immediately as there were clear sighs that I was getting addicted. I was spending more time in the gambling place than at home or anywhere else.
Realizing that you have crossed your limits in gambling is not easy because usually people who are addicted will find it very difficult to let go unless they get special treatment from experts so they can recover, and the people around you have an important role in making you realize this mistake.
So far I am still able to control myself well, only gambling when I have free time and also have funds that can be used for gambling, if those two are not available then I never force myself by borrowing or using money that is not for gambling, so I could say I.m not yet and do not want to experience addiction.

This means that you have experienced being a gambling addict, but fortunately, you immediately realized it thanks to people who may have warned you and your family started to worry about the activities you were doing. Indeed, gambling can change someone's real self into another person when they know what gambling is, but basically we have control over ourselves so as not to experience addiction, we must learn what gambling is and what its effects are, we must not be influenced by excessive gambling because this will lead to potential gambling addiction, especially if you are trying to earn income from gambling and you happen to be unemployed and not having a job or any activity, gambling will become the main activity to be used as a source of income, this is what will cause big mistake and lead to gambling addiction.
Yes I will agree with you that I once an addict. But my happiness is that I had people around me to keep me on the balance. At that time I had a job but the pay wasn't that much for me and I was looking for way to earn more from gambling. It was really a bad situation to be addicted into gambling, I was luck that it didn't take me much time to adjust. I know many people who are still struggling with gambling addictions. Sometimes I look at them and wonder if this was what I would have turned out if not for the help I got.

Yes, there could be some gamblers who are losing huge amount of money and might not be a gambling addict. However, as a human nature, you wanted to get back with the money that you lost, so you want to play again and again and that could mean that you are turning into addicts.

But I do believed that there are addicts that can turn their life around. Maybe there could be addicts, but sooner or later they could be events in their life that they might realized that gambling is not for them and they are losing every grip of their live. So they could go into rehab, seek medical or professional help, or just shutdown gambling for good.

Chasing losses has always been the problem of many gamblers, and it's likely to lead them  to addiction, but in rare cases though, some just chase until they realize that it's impossible to recover the losses and then they give up and maybe take a break from gambling for a while, while they reflect on their action and the losses they've made. Some people even decide to eventually quite on the process due to the huge amount they've lost trying to gain, they realize at that instant that if the continue with that gambling pattern, they'll only ruin their lives on the process so the best option is to call it a quit.

Yeah, most gamblers doesn't like to accept defeat and know that they are going too extreme like if someone is recording losses conspicuously why not give it a break at that material time instead of continuously playing and losing more money in the process and these has really been a big problem to many gamblers, for example someone will walk up to a gambling hall with like $200 and loses like $100 instead of him to leave with the remaining balance in his hand he will want to get back that $100 that he has lost already and by so doing they end up spending all the money in their hand.

Gambling isn't that too bad it's just the nature with which some persons play gamble that makes it look bad and as an irresponsible game. Like if you're playing and losing why not quite it like maybe for that day and continue some other time but some gamblers will keep on playing till their pocket becomes empty which is a very bad habit.

Yes, this all depends on who is doing the gambling. Is he someone who is careless or someone who is quite wise.

And when someone experiences a loss while playing gambling, they often think that gambling is wrong and can harm many people. They continued to ridicule gambling and the gambling platforms he visited, while the next day they returned to make deposits to gamble... hahaha Very funny.

And if we think again, it is actually not gambling that is wrong, but we are the ones who are wrong in understanding gambling, because we think that by gambling we can multiply our wealth and make a profit. In fact, if you look at the beginning of the emergence of gambling, which has been around for centuries, from the past until now, gambling has been a means of entertainment to get pleasure, through a sensation and challenge when playing it.
If someone has experienced a lot of losses in gambling, he should be able to realize that what he is doing is wrong and he should start changing what he does to avoid those big losses. They cannot hope to win from gambling because winning depends on luck and skill. And someone must be wise in gambling so as not to lose more. If he doesn't do it, he will only experience loss after loss, which could result in losses and could even cause him to lose all his money.

Gambling is not wrong, but we are wrong because we use it beyond our limits and many of us even hope too much to win from gambling. We can indeed win from gambling, but we can't get our hopes up because we are just ordinary gamblers who also have other needs that we have to fulfill, so we have to allocate a certain amount of money to meet our daily needs. And that is why we should not become a gambler who is addicted to gambling because it can have a bad impact on our lives.

Everyone loses in gambling both the addicts and those that are in control of their gambling lifestyle, losing too much doesn't make you an addict but chasing those losses constantly can gradually make you an addict. Moreso, constant wild gambling can be a symptom of addictive gambling lifestyle when it turn to be a regular pattern of going wild for you and not until you go wild you don't get satisfactory with your gambling for the day, mate that's addiction taking a center stage.
The ones that cannot control themselves while they gamble should probably stop doing it as the risk they lose way more money than what they can afford is too high, because for those that are impulsive they do not even need to become addicted or chase their losses, just a few minutes in which they lose control of their emotions can be enough for them to accumulate massive losses, and in that case they should just leave gambling behind as it is clear that only bigger losses are awaiting for them.

Truth be told, I don't believe it's only addicts that are prone to losing huge sums in gambling, the fact the gambled wild a few times doesn't really make you an addict. What you should say is, there's always time in a gambler's life that he'll be pushed to gamble wild. Gambling wild a few time is different from addiction. Addiction is when you're already used to wild gambling and you don't think about nothing else other than to gamble. That's addiction.

Everyone who gambles has a likelihood of losing small as well as huge sums of money during their time gambling. It’s not only addicts that has been known to lose huge amounts. And yes, gambling wildly or irresponsibly for a short period of time doesn’t make one an addict as addiction doesn’t just happen overnight. It takes a constant amount of irresponsible gambling for one to develop the habit and slowly build up an addiction.
It takes someone with a strong will to quit such habit.

Going by the conventional definition of addiction, yes, I have been a gambling addict. Gambling addiction can make a person irrational. My story will portray better my level of addiction in the past. I'm hungry I have money to feed and no money to gamble, I always prefer to starve to gamble. I want to buy something, I have the money to buy it but if I do I will have nothing left with me to gamble, I will use the money to gamble and in the end, lose everything. I'm proud of myself that I was able to overcome my gambling addiction and I hope gambling addicts out there can come out from that ugly scourge.

What I often find is that when people talk about success, they are more likely to talk about the hard times, that they went hungry for a while and other hardships. They keep talking about that, while what we need is not your dark story, but what we need is a way and solution to get out of the zone of suffering and achieve success.

Likewise, you only tell us about your hard times and your suffering when you fell into the problem of addiction to gambling. While what we need is not your story of suffering, but a solution and the way you deal with the problem, so that at this time you can escape the addiction to gambling.

When a person used an important money to do a probability, I see it as stupidity and lack of home training or financial training. I see know reason why anyone will use school fees to gamble because you know for sure that it's a 50:50 situation, sometimes it's even 30:70 situation depending on the risk but still people will put important money into it and then later start to regret their actions for doing that in the first place. If I am closed to you and you use school fees for gambling and I found out, I will not give you another one because I have done my responsibility as a guardian and parent, it's yours as a child to be sensible to use it for the right thing.

That's how one of my hostel mate used his industrial training money for gambling and he lost it. Been only the remaining students on campus, we just had to help him with food stuffs but he became the face of the semester for that time and since then, if you mention gambling to him or anything that has to do with sportbet, he will run away and never come back again.

If the gambler had the full confidence in their betting and their tactics,he would risk the money. But the gambler was the full responsibility for the money, because gambling had the two types of results. If the gambler at the hard times, the result in the gambling will be negative one.So the gambler should not involve the important money in the gambling, because it may leads to the gambler as the loan guy.So people will get into the problem by using the school fee to the gambling,if the result is positive you can be happy. But if the gambler loss the funds,it may leads to the fight with their wife.It also leads to the divorce for the gambler,So it was essential one to use the free money in the gambling site. The gambler may not worry if the money used was the free money in gambling.
Everyone must allocate a certain amount for themselves for gambling, but it must be adequate and not make the player very nervous, otherwise it will knock him out and he will start doing all sorts of nonsense, which in the end we all know where it will lead him.

If a player begins to borrow for games, then this is a clear trait of a dependent person who begins to sacrifice relationships with other people. It turns out that the game becomes more important to him than some very important things. At this moment, it is important that one of the friends tried to bring this crazy player to reason. Of course, this may not work, but you should always try.

This makes me remember one of my friends. I also know a guy that is not my friend like that but he said the same thing. They said that they gamble ones with huge amount of money and they regretted that they lost and that has been the last time they gamble. The other guy was my friends neighbor while we were in school. I also have a guy which was my departmental mate, he used his school fee to gamble and he lost it, he was lucky that his father gave him another school fees. He said he will never gamble again. These examples are not gambling addiction, you are right.

If you use gambling as entertainment and you also have other activities that you do regularly, you will not think about gambling too often because your focus at that time is on other activities. You can manage everything well because it is not an obstacle or problem for you, especially if you don't gamble too often. But if someone gambles too often and has no other activities, he can think about gambling more often and there will definitely be a desire to return to the casino to gamble. It depends on a person's will to be able to prevent himself from returning to the casino too often and trying to have more activities will help him to think less about gambling. That is why we have to be wise in gambling and don't gamble too often if we don't want to experience the problem of losing money in gambling. Someone who has obligations or other activities must indeed complete everything first and then carry out other activities so that everything can run smoothly.

Yes, this all depends on who is doing the gambling. Is he someone who is careless or someone who is quite wise.

Maybe only a small percentage have succeeded in changing their lives and quitting gambling addiction, as we know that gambling addiction is very difficult to cure, even with professional help, you won't be able to stop it completely because it all has to come from your own heart to stop gambling. and cure their own addiction, some of my friends are successful and some are not from their addiction.

Most people quit their gambling addiction because the circumstances really mean they have no other way but to stop, for example they run out of money and go bankrupt, but there are also those who can't stop when they still have other assets, usually they borrow money with collateral to finance their gambling. Until now, not all gamblers have managed to recover, they must realize that when they start to feel addicted, at least reduce their gambling habits so that it doesn't get worse.

Right! people first play or deposit very small amount when they are just starting to gamble thinking that I am not going to lose it all, they think like they already know what gambling is and they are going to lose everything deposited, but our mind just think that in a that way that I will control myself when losing, but in last when we lose consecutively our mind goes blank and we didn't even know consciously that we are betting higher then we can afford to lose in one bet. after losing it all they deposit 2x of the initial amount lost this cycle repeats and the losing amount become so huge. and people become gambling addict because of this.
If they could control their minds to keep betting small amounts and also deposit very small amounts, maybe they could still enjoy their gambling games well and would not lose control of themselves in gambling. They will also not experience a change in their mindset when playing gambling and will always stay within their limits so as not to experience more losses. They will also always limit the deposit amount to the same amount every time they deposit money. They just don't want to lose when gambling because that means they will lose their money while they will also lose control of themselves. They will try their best to keep themselves under control so they don't experience problems losing money in gambling.

This is difficult to avoid by every gambler and most likely many gamblers do this especially with gamblers who cannot control themselves. They will chase defeat with no awareness that makes them go deeper in gambling and makes them stuck in the cycle and it is also difficult to get out of the trap that is detrimental to themselves.
By following greed it will not make things better or better, because the greed that is in them can destroy their lives. Sooner or later if they still follow their greed, I think they will feel the impact and that is certain, there are also many things that must be avoided in gambling to avoid addiction to gambling, it's just that many people are not aware of the things that must be avoided in gambling so it is not strange that many people are addicted to gambling.
