Yes, it's almost not much different from you because I have an uncle who likes to gamble so I often see him at home gambling with his friends which in the end makes me often steal his cards to play at school with my friends, betting our pocket money given by our parents sometimes Sometimes we gamble with our savings or school fees, not much different from you where we often skip school just to gamble and it's true that it was a stupid thing I did when I was young.

But everyone should have a stupid story from when they were young so that it can be used as a lesson when they have children, at least make sure they don't gamble after their father when they were young, always try to protect their environment so that they don't want to know about gambling, I still gamble but my child doesn't I never knew that because I never gamble in front of my children because that will make my children follow me in the future, for example I follow my uncle because the environment around us is what makes us become what we see and learn there. There is no need for regrets, everything is a process and that's how life is, everything has to have a story to correct so that it can be better in the future.  

The worst that I've ever done was a long time ago I went to the ATM to get some more money to "recover the losses".

We used to play card games for money in our school days too. Naturally, we had to skip classes to do it away from prying eyes. Now I realize that it was not a very good idea, but then we were driven by youthful maximalism, thirst for excitement and desire to understand the world. To be honest, I do not regret it, because it was the first experience of gambling, which over the years only accumulated.   

As a child I usually won lotteries, which were huge prizes. Like motorcycle, jeep car, mobile etc. and various other prizes. So I bet on them in my student life but never won. I originally had high hopes of winning a motorcycle, but I didn't get them. I usually lose a lot on these types of bets and get regular prizes that are far less than my lottery worth.

During my Secs school days there were other game played with my fellow girls but that is not related to gambling where we do draw out some spaces in a carboards paper and inserts stones on it (4 each space) though it will be shared into 12 separates places then such game can be played by 6, 4, 2 or 2,4,6 which ever way can go. This game as then made me to miss classes as well though it was periodically on low mentality leaving class for a stupid games that doesn't add anything our life I think the name of the game is called "Ayo game" name deriving from Yoruba and is popularly known and mostly played by those of Yoruba's.

I guess most people are stupid when they are in mid-school, I have done so many stupid things at that age but gambling cards isn't one of them, I can remember where I would skip classes and get out of the school compound to place bets of video games, football and fighting games.

Its not something I was proud of either, no one will but being young and desperate, this is why its dangerous to be influenced by the wrong things, you will just point straight to it like your life depends on it, I am glad that I still managed to end mid -school with flying colours, this habit could easily ruin anyone.

I knew some thugs wannabe in mid-school at the time and the eventually grew up to become one, I don't know if they felt wrong about their decisions today but I bet they won't want to show that to anyone, exposure to gambling at a very young age is not cool.

During my middle school, when our teacher is not around or did not teach that day, one of my classmate would always bring cards. He and his friends would play different kinds of games without betting any money. They just play for fun and for pass time while we do study. Although it looks fun to join, but I just watch them play and I did not particpate since what they are doing is against our school rules. It's always important to respect the rule and boundaries of the school. And always be aware of the risks and consequences of what you are doing.

I haven't tried this kind of betting experience when I was young, the first gambling that I've tried is card games as well but Me and my cousins did it during summer break and that's how we used our school break. Fyi, our parents didn't know that we were playing card games because for sure they will get mad to us. Time flies really fast, I miss those experiences when we were kids, we just had fun and didn't take things too seriously, unlike today when we have to work hard to survive.

First time hearing op said their stupidity. However, you are so lucky to realize your mistakes and were addictions is bringing you to. But it's bad as a student to gamble while school time. Even when you are not gambling with money time will come when you will start betting with money and as you have started at your early age it would be very difficult to quit.
Funny aspect of addiction and gamblers is they don't always agree that they are addicted to gamble. You see, now from using the money made from cigarettes to gamble one day you might sell property and use the money to gamble, that's how additcions start.

Maybe I'm a stupid because I shared a memory with you, ..... it's just a memory that doesn't deserve all this analysis on your part.

Honestly, yes. I was betting in the office where I work but realized it eventually that it won't benefit me in anyway. I was just fulfilling the act of being able to bet but wasn't paying that much attention to the betting activity myself. Result? being unaware of loss and impulsion with bets. I've learned that it is better to bet wnehever I am totally free of other tasks or things to do because it allows me to think more logically especially with gambling games requiring or needing decision making like with sportsbetting abd with card games. If you are just betting alone and not with planned bets, then you are simply testing your luck. I do get the idea that luck is a key player in gambling but losing could be sometimes lessen with some strategies and analysis, although with no certainty, but if you have the option to lessen the risk, what would be a valid reason not to do so right?

I have not been into physical gambling rigth from time, and even up to this extent I hardly take part in any physical gambling I can watch others playin6the games but me myself don't gamble in that manners, but then I have experience alot of strang gambling before to the point that some guys plays card in front of the police station meanwhile public betting could persecuted in my country.

Although at the end they know how to sort themselves out with the police, to me believe that that is the highest wird thing to do, I also a remember another incident that happened when I was serving youth service in the northern part of my country,  where some students usually jump school fence to go outside to bet on cards staking real money.

I'm hearing my friend who is a computer professor in middle school that so many kids are trying to find ways to play gambling games at school these days. And even if the sysadmin tries to block a ton of websites, they'll come up with creative ways of still gambling. For example some kids had a random number generator from google.com and kept using it to gamble IRL... Of course google.com can't be blocked without seriously affecting a computer's ability to be useful.

So now the school has completely banned free use of computers, even in its library! Only when filling tasks and programming assignments will students be able to use a computer, and much of that time without a network connection.

We also have done something wrong while I was still in high school. We call the game "Adding".
How it works: 1 player will choose a paper money, fold it so that the opponent won't see, hand it to him so there will be no cheating that will happen by switching the paper money, and the other will pick 3 numbers out of the 6 serial numbers. Add them up, whatever the "ones" is your score. Example 8+8+6 = 22, you only get "2" as your score. The remaining 3 numbers will be added by the 1st player and if he has a higher one then he will win.

We do this against the students in the room next to us. Sometimes the bets could go large because it's one room of students against the other. We are lucky we are not caught but there are times when someone will report us. Another student who loves playing the good guy/girl. Happy times!

Yes I have but not recently. And it was at a time when I was still guilty of gambling for money, these are the few times that I received game codes for sports betting that someone else analyzed, and placed them most times at the wrong time and place.  I stopped trusting people because of the errors. I feel that any gambler who denies and claims to never have bet at the wrong time or place have maybe not gambled enough or just telling lies to make them look good.

Before I make a bet I analyze the game very well, so after I see the results of the games and see that I lost, I don't have any regrets and I don't feel sad, from the beginning I already put in my head the option of defeat is more likely to happen than the option of victory, this way I prepare myself very well mentally, now there are some times when I wanted to bet on a team and I fail to bet on another team and only find out when the games are over. I've had many cases of this type, but I'm correcting myself on this part, talking about other mistakes, well over 15 years ago, when I was at school I arranged with my friends so that after school we would go to a field to play football and make a bet on which of the teams would win

The winning team kept all the money, but there were times when the temperature made it night very early and as we didn't want to stop playing because we were betting, we chose to escape school early because that way we could play while we still had money. sun and when I got home my parents found out because my teachers called them and I was grounded, but even so I repeated doing the same thing. Today, when I look back and remember those times, I laugh to myself. There were times when there were no colored cell phones, so people spent more time together, today people prefer phones and only spend time with other people when they are drinking alcohol

I've actually done something that's extremely crazy just because I want to gamble and that was one of the craziest things I've done in my life. Growing up, I was living with one of my uncles who's has be funding my high school education so one day, I was asked to given huge amount to money by that uncle of mine to go get food items that'll be used to prepare food for the whole household including his wife children and few other person that was living in that same roof. I was on my way to the market when I saw gambling store and was tempted to go in and gamble from the money so I can win and make extra money but unfortunately for me, I failed to I lost all the money that was used to send me on errand.
It was after I've totally lost the money that I recalled that I was actually sent to get good items with the money and that was when my spirit jumped out of my body because I know I was going to be merciless beaten at home. I had to sleep out that night in a friend's house who helped me a little money the next day bit I was still beaten for making everyone in the house to go to bed without eating anything

Everyone really has done stupid things or crazy things just for gambling, and we all have those things. What crazy things have I done just to play gambling? Stealing: yes, I learned how to steal money from my family and, worst of all, from my friends. I still didn't notice back then that what I'm doing is wrong and should never ever be done, but because I'm too addicted to gambling, I couldn't control myself and ended up doing those things. But of course, thankfully, I suddenly woke up and thought that what I'm doing for others will also happen to me, or it will backfire, so from then on, I controlled my gambling obbies. If I had extra money, instead of using it for investment, I used it for investment, but of course sometimes I still gamble, but with limited capital for gambling. In order for me not to overboard my experiences or losses in gambling,.

Anyone who hasn't done any stupid things in their adolescent stage didn't have much fun at their adolescent age.

Most of us were caught up in stupid things when growing and when we look back at that, we laugh because it is a childhood memory that we did when we knew nothing of.

Like mine, during weekends, I normally missed my breakfast and lunch with my friends because of the habit of, knowing who was faster than the other at writing inside a 20-leave exercise book within 3 hours(to fill it up with what is written inside the textbook). Whoever wins at the end of the day, takes home the little money we have saved up during our school days hours.

While I was still in university, I placed bets in class while lectures were going on, I placed bets in some meeting sections, and I also played plinko and crashed at the wrong time, but that was all in the past. Some things I have done because of gambling are not really serious crazy things; I feel it's a normal thing that it's usually common among other gamblers. Most gamblers, during their early stages, have actually done some crazy things for the sake of gambling. Some months ago, a topic was created here where the OP was emphasizing gamblers who sold their property and used the money to gamble. Some people comment that they have actually sold some property to gamble, and that is a common thing. 

I am not degrading the education system or OP himself I just imagined how crazy it will be if I were in that situation. The rules are kind of similar everywhere but how serious when it gets implemented in the real world defines the country/educational institutions. Last but not least bullying is criminal offence in US but is there any country where we can say there is complete bully free.
