In my country face to face transactions of bitcoin is usually carried out when the exchanges from bitcoin to fiat involves a huge amount of btc, in fact it is often agreed that the meeting point should take place in an army or police barrack to avoid unforseen circumstances after the two parties had agreed and reached a conclusion.

I've been using BTC for a while. I've been using it at exchanges, to trade altcoins and to order goods over the Internet, but I've never exchanged BTC with someone in front of me. At a store or between friends, or family. This despite having had long conversations about BTC with various kinds of people, and attending a few meetups.

Who has exchanged BTC F2F?

I once had a one to one exchange, but that was with someone whom I know for the past few years. I would never do a one-to-one exchange with a stranger. I have heard so many horror stories related to it.

Dont ever deal with a stranger to trade BTC face to face.  Always secure your self. If you really need to trade with a. Stranger better do it inside a bank where theres a cctv camera and security guards.

I have been working with the cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, first of all) since 2013. However, I can confess that I never had any ideas connected with the exchanging it face to face.

I already did it when I escorted Master Cryptocurrency, bought a Doll for her child, when I took her car her and she went to a little toy store.
He brings cash but his money is less, and unexpectedly the owner of the store has a Bitcoin wallet, so at that time my Master made the purchase of Dolls with Bitcoin by Face to Face.

I've never been experience of changing bitcoin face to face into other person,or some paying my debts into particular lending investment or loans otherwise  there are times that one of my friends borrow me an etherium into my local exchange wallet that name coin.ph so i transfer them some of my etherium to his wallet for the purpose  of using it into his trading transaction in MEW transaction fee.

Lol I think you'd rather profit investing than have fun with spending your bitcoin ? actually there are already
some bitcoin users in my city. and I occasionally met them just for sharing and sometimes doing face to face deals with them

I never do it yet because in my village just little bit people know about Bitcoin and understanding what is. They only know fiat currency and all store only accepted that currency, crypto is not familiar yet in my village, so at the moment i use crypto only for trading on the exchange.

Well if you could say helping a friend to start in Bitcoin by selling them some then yes I have experience it,
My friend wants to start in Bitcoin too when he founds out that I was making some money by investing in a HYIP back when I was just new in crypto then he tells me that he also wants to try it and I was about to cash out some of my Bitcoin then he told me that he would just buy it.

Not only do I buy them online, I have never met them directly. If I could convert them into physical form, I would not be able to attract many investors.

If today to spend Bitcoin for everyday purposes, it is only if there is no other way out. In any case, the sale of Bitcoin today is a waste of money. But regarding the Bitcoin exchange face-to-face, the market and the community of crypto-currency users are not yet developed enough to make it so common.

No, I've never done that and will no do that because I want to protect my anonimity and don't want any additional risks for my life (if a big sum of money is in trade).

What are you talking about dude? P2p transactions are abundant and doesn't really compromise your security unless you provide all your wallet security data. I'd done a lot of face to face btc transactions in the past both with people i don't know and with friends

There are definitely risks when you're doing face-to-face transactions with someone you've never met yet.
People have already been robbed when meeting up with someone from Localbitcoins.

Of course you can avoid that from happening if you pick a seller/buyer with hundreds of legit good reviews.

I did exchange Bitcoin several times with friends and buyers of localbitcoin. It is generally safe, just meet up with strangers in public places. It is a nice experience, I chat with other crypto lovers and some are my friends now.
