I haven't used bitcoin for spending it with real and physical goods instead I used it with paying my monthly bills and paying mobile prepaid load cards. I'm hoping that someday I will be able to use it for online shopping because I'm quite too hasty when it comes to online shopping. I often use COD when purchasing one.

I have never really bought something using bitcoin itself but I have bought using the cash I withdraw from bitcoin remittance service. No merchants ever in my area knows about bitcoin actually and if there is, all they know about it is that bitcoin is a scam. Bitcoin is only known in my country for being a scam because all they know is investing on the doubler and could mining, this kind of business is booming in my country. Every time there is a new doubler posted on the bitcoin facebook group they belong, they all flock to send btc to this doubler to be the first on the list to receive their btc, they don't even know about bitcointalk.org.

I'd be the first in my are to accept bitcoin whenever my store is set up. its a local facebook store though.  Grin

Not yet, just online up to this point. However, when I visit München, Germany with friends for Oktoberfest, we plan on stopping by Berlin along the way. There I hope to find one or more of the bars and restaurants that accept Bitcoin and finally, officially for the first time for me, buy a physical product (beer) in person directly with bitcoin.

No I haven't used the Bitcoin as way to pay for physical goods, because I haven't really thought about doing that.
But even if I did think about it there aren't many shops in my neighborhood that accept Bitcoin. But it is a great idea tho

Unfortunately, no. Directly for bitcoin I bought only online goods (games, services) I gave some bitcoin to my friends, etc.
I can't spend bitcoin directly in my town because there is no place where I can do it. For now I can only sell my coins and exchange it for FIAT.
How to spend bitcoin is one of the common problem. But if you are thinking tge word directly in bitcoin that is the case i think its hard. Because transacitoin of bitcoin to products is not much faster and reliable. Unless you will use wallet such as coin.ph , in coin.ph you can paybills , buy load or even convert your bitcoin . Its not directly but you can cash out your bitcoin in a simple way. Asides you can earn to cause evey load you buy there is a 5 percent rebate to you. So the best answer to your question is find a suitable wallet for yout transactions and needs.

It was my mum's birthday yesterday. And I wanted to buy a birthday cake for her, but when I reached the bread shop, I realized I forgot carrying my wallet and I had only a few bucks in my pocket.  I tried to talk to the boss of the shop if I can pay by bitcoin, to my surprise, she said YES and finally I paid the cake by bitcoin.  Grin

This is my first time to use BTC as real money buying a real physical goods.

As a bitcoiner, using BTC online is very common.  Have you ever used Bitcoin as Real money to buy Real/physical goods?  plz share your experience.   Wink

I didn't use bitcoin directly as transaction for what I have brought, because in our country we can exchange it for our standard currency so still I have brought something using bitcoin, but in different way.

I also never used Bitcoin to buy physical goods. In my country it is difficult to do. But it is possible to pay for the Internet or mobile communications

No not yet.I haven't bought any physical good so far with bitcoin but I have used it several times to buy domains and Altcoin.
The only reason for me not buying physical good with bitcoin is that there is no local online or other shop available that accept bitcoin.

Yes, I already used my bitcoins to buy goods or items in the real world. I remember buying my laptop worth 0.4 bitcoins and we do meet up, you know to make sure that our deal will be smooth and no one will be scammer. So after we do meet up i test the laptop first and i paid it using bitcoin.

I did but i exchanged it first into fiat before buying  real/physical ggods because there are not so many sites here in my country that sell items for bitcoin. I only bought load or top up for my mobile before using bitcoin. I hope that someday, there will be more online shops here in the Philippines that will offer items in exchange of bitcoin Wink
I also did the same because in my country currently only online things are available with the payment of bitcoin while local shops have not adopted that payment system till now. I hope in the future someone will start it in their local shops.
Well, me either, there are only a few people know about the existence of bitcoin, and there are only 1 or 2 coffee shops in my place that accept bitcoin (occasionally). But luckily, there are 2 bitcoin ATMs nears where I live so whenever I want to buy anything, I just need to convert my bitcoin to fiat money in no time. I'm looking forward to founding a coffee shops chain which accepts bitcoin by myself Grin

I haven't tried it yet, and until now there are still only few services or establishments that are accepting bitcoin here in my country and as far as I know we only have one store here that totally doing the same because of that, the only way we can do here my country is to convert it to fiat which we are going to cash it out from banks and remittance center . it's great that you can already pay in bitcoin directly for the product or service that you have availed .

I have used bitcoin to buy real/physical goods. And so far its  a good experience. Only thing is that its not really known for a lot of people from where i come from, and even if you try teach/let them understand what bitcoin is. Mostly see's it like its something bad/scam.lol But so far for me, bitcoin is good and an easy way mod of payment.

Haven't got the access to buy physical goods or digital goods using bitcoin directly. Used to cash out with the help of traders and use it for day to day uses online as well offline. Recently purse has extended service to our country. Possibly will make a purchase soon.

I have many times used bitcoins to do online transactions like for steam , xbox etc.
But I have used bitcoin to buy physical things very less.
Once I went to a cafe ,
I wanted to retain my cash, so I very casually asked,
"Do you accept bitcoin payment".
To a surprise the person said yes and I was a bit surprised.
But now seeing the growth rate of bitcoins,
It didn't come to me as a surprise now.Bitcoins have gained a lot of acceptance.
I have even heard that in Mercedes Benz and Microsoft stores BTC is accepted.( I have used it in my X box online but never physically)

Really? Cheesy How exactly do you pay in btc for a few beers? I'm just curious. Grin
Normally as you would pay for any other goods or services.

The bar owner generates a QR code with a payment info, I scan it, sign a transaction and broadcast it on the network. As soon as the owner's wallet shows the unconfirmed transaction I go home. Since I think nobody explained to him that unconfirmed txs can be double-spent he doesn't require confirmations. Plus we're friends so he wouldn't care anyway.

I was curious mainly because of speed of the transaction.. I cannot imagine to pay in a pub late at night and then wait untill the transaction is finally confirmed. Grin If you are friends, that's of course different, but maybe you should say to your friend, that he should be also interested in confirmations, if he lets other people pay with bitcoin.

It looks like in the Philippines there are many websites that offer foods, gadget and other stuff that you can pay Bitcoin, It is great that some website use Bitcoin as a payment method, I hope there's still companies that use Bitcoin as a payment method.
You can also use Coins.ph to pay your utility bills etc.
I already know that I usually use that site when I need some load and games credit, if you're from the Philippines then you cannot problem how to convert your Bitcoin to fiat money because there are some site like Coins.ph that offer Bitcoin to Peso exchange.
