I did but i exchanged it first into fiat before buying  real/physical ggods because there are not so many sites here in my country that sell items for bitcoin. I only bought load or top up for my mobile before using bitcoin. I hope that someday, there will be more online shops here in the Philippines that will offer items in exchange of bitcoin Wink
I also did the same because in my country currently only online things are available with the payment of bitcoin while local shops have not adopted that payment system till now. I hope in the future someone will start it in their local shops.

Actually in the Philippines you can actually purchase real/physical goods using bitcoin in the internet. Though there are no listed sites that is similar to amazon that accepts bitcoin as payment to your order but in social media there are a lots of merchants that sell gadgets, cosmetics and many more items. Transactions is done by sending your bitcoin payment and after receiving your payment they will send your items to your homes through delivery service shops.

I got some stuff from OpenBazaar, I pay with bitcoin at a local bar, I pay my rent, in Singapore I paid in a coffee shop etc. Here in Asia bitcoin is quite a big thing.
It looks like in the Philippines there are many websites that offer foods, gadget and other stuff that you can pay Bitcoin, It is great that some website use Bitcoin as a payment method, I hope there's still companies that use Bitcoin as a payment method.

Yes. SouthEast Asia is the best market of Bitcoin. Lots of people and merchants know about it as well use it wisely. People here know that Bitcoin has future and it will make the world a better place. Buying digital goods is very easy and now it's getting better for physical goods too.  Smiley

Really? Cheesy How exactly do you pay in btc for a few beers? I'm just curious. Grin
Normally as you would pay for any other goods or services.

The bar owner generates a QR code with a payment info, I scan it, sign a transaction and broadcast it on the network. As soon as the owner's wallet shows the unconfirmed transaction I go home. Since I think nobody explained to him that unconfirmed txs can be double-spent he doesn't require confirmations. Plus we're friends so he wouldn't care anyway.

Honestly, I don't know any shops where you can buy physical good for btc. I know pages, where you can pay in btc for services or digital goods, but not for a real physical stuff. Can anyone suggest some shops, where I can use bitcoin? (And please don't suggest Starbucks Grin )

Not so many shops are ready to accept bitcoin, but it is only a matter of time, bitcoin is increasingly being used in various gaming services or online casino. As for me, I do not spend a bitcoin for goods and services, the price is constantly increasing on the better keep it.

I have purchased few games. Now let me tell you how .
Converting bitcoin into my currency was a lengthy process .
I have a friend who has a lot of money in his debit card ,
So what i did was that i told him to buy me games and
i would return that amount to him in Bitcoins.
Luckily he was a bitcoin user , So i tell him to buy games for me
and i return the cash in Bitcoins.
But now slowly bitcoin has been accepted in few firms.
Like starbucks and steam. So im pretty happy about that ,
as i dont have to depend on my friend to buy me games and
i returning that money in bitcoins.
So now i can directly buy games online on steam easily
Thanks.

No I have not used bitcoin as a fiat currency for physical goods. I just used bitcoin for buying online services. Other than that I have not spent any bitcoins I earned. In my view bitcoin as investment for retirement. So spemding for real goods or online goods are not good idea by this time itself.

For me not yet, right now only few selected stores can only accept bitcoin as their payment. Some online stores now already accepts bitcoin to buy their products but most of them are abroad and i can't affort to pay some huge fees to buy it where it is just available in our country. Spending bitcoin to buy some physical goods right now is still difficult. We need to convert it to cash first to spend it in real world. But let's hope in the jear future we can use our bitcoin directly to pay something we want or need.

I have made a bargaining with traders accepting bitcoin for digital goods, but finally as he does't show interest to sell the product for the price I have quoted I stopped the trade. Also we cannot get the desired product for bitcoin now, so used to buy using fiat and use bitcoin for other needs such as trading and investing.

Of course I have but I've never use it into some local shops here just through online and if I'm going to use it here offline I exchange it it to my local currency . It's good that OP is quite lucky seems like the owner is a bitcoin user if not then I doubt the owner will accept it as a payment . Unfortunately I doubt that people here at my place uses bitcoin or even knows it . So I have never even asked a shop owner if he's willing to accept bitcoin .

I didn't use bitcoin in buying products or as a real money cause it doesn't accepted in my country for payment.  I really know that bitcoin can use for payment but only in other country because bitcoin is expose in his country. Maybe next year, if there's a business man  who really knows bitcoin in our country maybe it accepting bitcoin for payment.

Crypto.games
Nope.
I've yet to use it to buy any sort of physical goods, whether on shops (because I can't find one that accepts it in my area)

or online (because I hesitate to splurge on delivery charges. International shipping could get costly, plus I don't like waiting weeks just to get my product.)

I've used it for games, digital stuff, ebooks, mobile credits, bills payment, membership fees, etc. Just things that doesn't take too much time or delivery costs.  Grin
So, for physical goods, I use fiat.

Yes I have been upgraded to using Bitcoins fractions actually to buy goods. Though it's very difficult for me to find stores that accept bitcoin in front. So the only way for me is to have it converted into Fiat. So as much as I don't like of have to sell and then buy. I have brought goods like earphones, suits, bags. I am planning to save some for my dream gadget fitbit charge 2 and also rest for swizz vacation, there they have shops that accept bitcoins upfront.
