As of now , I am going to receive my first payment on Tuesday .
So i havent used it yet. But im pretty sure everyone can.
As my friends use it for various other things.
Like recently my friend purchased few skins in a game.
He has bought me pro packs in certain games as well.
So no doubt you can use BTC to purchase goods .
You can even convert BTC into your currency and buy anything you want
online or even add that money in your debit/credit card and go shopping.
You can use you BTC as USD to purchase everything, which is a very good thing.

Never did that yet as there isn't any services in my country that accepts bitcoin for payment. Whenever i need money i simply convert them to fiat and then buy whatever i need. I never even asked any place if they accept bitcoin or not because bitcoin awareness is too less in my area.

yea I have a friend here in the philipines he let me buy some of his clothers in exchange for bitcoin I just have to go to their shop and send bitcoin to his wallet address and instantly I have a new clothes well It's just a simple trading bitcoin for clothes I think.

In my country we haven't got lots of stores that accept bitcoin for their services. Got to know few online stores in the international level have given access to buy digital goods. I feel this to be a hard thing to get products shipped from other nations. For this purpose I prefer converting to fiat and purchasing.

I have never used Bitcoin to procure any physical commodity before but I normally use it to buy servers online to host websites and other intangible technology products. The closest I came was to convert at an exchange for fiat and so that's the only thing physical my Bitcoin had helped me procure.

I have bought things online with BTC.  I used Newegg and Purse.io to buy things with BTC.  Pretty cool.  I have not seen any local stores or shops that indicate they will take BTC.  I also noticed the other day that my cell phone provider will also take payment in a few different crypto's including BTC.

How did you pay using Bitcoin in a bakery? I can't wait for the day when you can scan your bitcoin wallet for purchases in local stores, and even online shopping like on Amazon. However there are ways to get Amazon giftcards using bitcoin. Through that I have been able to purchase some products on Amazon. Nothing serious, just a few gadgets here and there. For example, I paid for a $20 Amazon giftcard and purchased a cheap $15.99 Virtual Reality headset. But other then that, I am yet to come across a store that allows me to pay in Bitcoin, but i cannot wait until i do

Last year i did buy a phone using bitcoin as a payment method. It is a PTP transaction, the seller knows bitcoin that's why i choose bitcoin to be our payment method. So far our deal is fast and smooth, without any doubts that the phone is broken or just an imitation of that phone. BTW the phone i bought is IPhone 4s, it is cheap at that time. No wonder many people buy phones from him.
The closer the business is to the tech industry the more chances we get they accept bitcoin, the only product that I ever bought with bitcoin was an eeprom that I need it with a specific set of instructions when I was about to pay the seller told me, you can pay with bitcoin if you like, and I said, really? I was very happy I could pay with bitcoins, but unfortunately that was the first and last time I used bitcoins to buy a physical product.

It was my mum's birthday yesterday. And I wanted to buy a birthday cake for her, but when I reached the bread shop, I realized I forgot carrying my wallet and I had only a few bucks in my pocket.  I tried to talk to the boss of the shop if I can pay by bitcoin, to my surprise, she said YES and finally I paid the cake by bitcoin.  Grin

This is my first time to use BTC as real money buying a real physical goods.

As a bitcoiner, using BTC online is very common.  Have you ever used Bitcoin as Real money to buy Real/physical goods?  plz share your experience.   Wink

I never used it to buy physical goods and still looking forward where I can, unfortunately in my place there is no any place stated accepted bitcoin. Maybe in the future I ask stores owner if he/she use bitcoin too Cheesy, if they don't at least I can tell/explain about bitcoin. Well, I've planning to open my stores which accepted bitcoin too, so if there is no any, mine will be the first one.

It is nice that if you will accept bitcoin as payment if you open a store . I hope you will be successful with it. That is a good news and also a good promotion for bitcoin.
As my self i exchange my bitcoin and buy some computer stuff, foods and other wearable things. I already bought a lot with the use of my earning in bitcoin and i hope will continue earning and buy a lot more things.

No. Never used bitcoin as payment instrument. Only cashed out some mBtc and then paid with it. I know there is sites that accept bitcoin as payment directly, but I have never used any.

We miss BitMint..

There's also crypto-thrift and stuff like that

I'm on the same page with you guys

I just traded my BTC for FIAT when I need to buy something

I saw a coffee shop that accepts bitcoins in Prague, and when I was there, I really wanted to visit it, but as it was a school visit, I never found the time Sad

However, you always need more friends who are into bitcoin, then you'll be able to buy stuff with bitcoin from them and get bitcoins when you sell stuff to them  Cheesy

Wow! Like nobody has practically. Is anybody as surprised as I am? What do we do about it?
Unfortunately there is not much to do, it will improve over time with more adoption from the general public then as adoption grows business will try to be more flexible and start accepting bitcoin, is a slow process but is happening.
