I also checked for codes and got an extra 10 bucks off so shipping was also free.........looks like the order shipped within the last hour as well.

Where do you get free shipping code for newegg? Thanks.
It wasn't a free shipping code though.I just created a new account to use the "NEWCUSTOMER10" code to get $10 off my whole order.Shipping was ~$9.65 I believe therefore didn't have to pay for it.

It expires Aug 31st I believe.

Oh yeah that's right!  The last 5870 I got off NewEgg (during that last $190 batch that came out) shipped from there as well and it only took like 1 day to get here!!

Mine shows as "shipped" as well, but no tracking # yet.  Does anybody know where these are shipping from?

I don't know about you guys...

but when the price of BTC drops $2 in one day, the first thing I want to do is sink $500 on another mining card (or $4,000 on 8 of them).

...or maybe not.

Good thing I'm spending my money and not yours. Maybe I'll make a video rendering farm since you seem to think that it's all going tits up soon.

Has anybody received a tracking number yet?  I think my F5 key is about to wear out.
calm down!!!! i've never had an issue on newegg...
if it says shipped, it's picked, packed and waiting for UPS to pickup and scan the code in.

*twitch*

Looks like they are shipping out of NJ. Every order I have made with newegg.com and neweggbusiness.com has come through.

*Looks at solidcoin*

The other white meat,lol.

edit:

vvvvv  Usually, what I find is that they give you the tracking number when it is halfway to the address they have on file.Their ability on charging you and getting the product out obviously seems to outpace their tracking dept. It's been like that for me over the last 4 years.

No way would I buy that card with only a 30 day warranty.

I would.  my credit card extends any warranty by 1 yr.

touche! so you get 1 year and 30 days. That does help but I am definitely not clear on how american express,
for example, would treat an OEM vid card with a 30 day warranty. It is not a normal purchase I would be confident about.
You know.. the fine print and all.
not a problem... just save the receipt.  don't ask me why, they allready have the purchase record on the credit card.
i'm pretty sure they just have some kind of insurance policy for this.  the cost is passed on to us anyway (higher interest, other fees etc... etc...).
makes for a good marketing ploy since most people couldn't find that receipt...

5970 has only one fan for 2 GPU core so it runs hotter, the frequency and voltage is much lower than 5870, and it is difficult to raise the voltage without modify the bios

and has one of the highest failure rates for radeon cards. i had a gpu go bad in mine and sent it back for a refund. thank goodness
for a liberal return policy. that is pretty much why i am gun shy of that card. I really wanted to go with it but decided cheap 5830s,
used btw, were the best bang for the buck.
