Epidural injections into your spine ? Wouldn't that litterally make you legless since that's what they do for women who can't handle the pain early during childbirth, it makes you paralyzed from the waist down...
Yes, you are correct. And it hurt like a bitch. They did two levels, so two full cycles in different spots at the same time. My leg is still pretty numb from it and I almost broke my knee tripping on a rug on the way out because I couldn't feel it. Luckily I work my hamstrings out a lot so they kept me up lol - In and out in about an hour. I could barely walk out but I just bounced out as soon as possible. Did the same thing when I had shoulder surgery a while back, didn't even stay overnight one night lol - The needles took about 15 minutes, but I had to wait around for a little while afterwards to make sure I could feel my legs. The first one wasn't so bad, it was over pretty quick, but the second one was absolute torture. I played football in high school, college, etc, so I am used to pain and hard impacts. This, however, was insane. The room started spinning, I was sweating terribly, and I felt like I was gonna throw up all over the place (smart not to eat beforehand I guess). I get this feeling a little bit when I am getting tattoos, but it is nothing like this. I've also had kidney stones before (which is the worst pain in the fucking world) and this one came pretty close, though it was over a lot faster.. Today, I was like 9/10 passed out from sheer pain and just put my head down and said fuck it let's go lol but it was over soon enough. They want to do two more rounds, but I'm not so sure. I'm thinking stem cells. I have at least 4 herniated discs and pinched nerves in my back and ankle
There's a picture of my back. The arrows are what I'm pretty sure are needle sticks. The purple marker is for the doctors to know where they're going, they were doing mad x-rays while aiming the needle into the right place. It's pretty bruised up now, my girlfriend took this about 6 hours ago now. I had a pretty hard time getting around today, but now the lidocaine or whatever is wearing off. The sites themselves are sore as shit and will be for a few days. This won't really have any effect for about a week
