Whales always have a big part to play in every altcoin seasons, I believe that once Bitcoin hits a new ATH they opt out and invest in altcoins and that's when altcoins season starts, it's still good to hold few altcoins but I just prefer IEO profits

There are two ways how altcoins can grow in the future.
1. New investors come in the bull run and they will find out that they already missed their lifetime opportunity with Bitcoin, so they start finding cute alternatives - altcoins.
2. Altcoins finally start delivering promised products and it will be proven that they are really useful in everyday life. Cool

I am definitely more the altcoin kind of guy as I believe that the risk and rewards are higher on altcoins.

I prefer it as I take more risk. If you wanna play safe then Bitcoin and Eth are better but altcoins can give you mutiple returns and well as go bust.

The higher the risk the higher the profits, that's altcoins for you, we are all here to make profits even if some of us are developers, its still about money making, altcoins have the fastest road to ROI than Bitcoin but also timing is very important, you can make hell of a profit from Bitcoin, for example those who buy in March @ 3600$

i hope too. I don’t think I have any specific Altcoins in this year but I’ve seen a few that’s very great and hoping to acquire more. there are some altcoins which have a very low price, but can still achieve high market capitalization once the coins begin to circulate in mass.

Yes I do but not really much because it is only few altcoins that I am confident about. Yes I would like to use cryptocurrencies for shopping but however it should be a cryptocurrency with good transactions confirmation time. The altcoin that I think would serve better is Ethereum, because with how active the team are ,one can agree they are working towards making Ethereum better and stronger. What to implement is faster transaction confirmation time, this is very important because it would look absurd you will pay for a product or service and wait for minutes or even hours for it to be confirmed.

Let me give you an example, when ethereum first launched in crypto world many people don't have any idea that it will boom and will change the game in this society same with many promising altcoins. It is okay to doubt sometimes but if you will be risking something in your life, I can safely say that risking and having confidence in altcoins is really worthy.

Some altcoin are promising but most of them exist due to hype and money they sitting with, some team would push their project since most of them have a large chunk of the tokens circulating so for them to earn easy money they need to hype their project and sooner or later dump everything. But there is also some project that is promising and legit.

altcoin can indeed make more profit than in Bitcoin, but only for the spot market, if you try the future then it's the same, there is no difference between Bitcoin and altcoin, I'm also comfortable on Ethereum for a long period of time

There's more profit and risk when you invest in altcoins, you can make more profit when investing on low marketcap coins than the top altcoins in the market, both short term and long term but that depends on how will the project grow.

With bitcoin price rising, altcoins will also follow but not all coins will rise. On must select accordingly.
