The more you  partake in the more you will learn as you get to read different comment opinions/informations from experience members regarding the topic of discuss.
The forum is more of a do it yourself community so information about bitcoin you get here you do your own research about it to be clarified, that's how we all learn here.

Actually, newbies who read other people's threads and DYOR have more knowledge and acquire knowledge in time when it comes to learning on this forum; however, they also get to know things deeply as they do research on everything they don’t understand. However, newbies also get to know things that will be helpful for them, and then that is when you will see newbies with meaningful threads that normally draw people's attention. However, this forum is actually more than you can do it yourself, as you said earlier. That's how someone really needs to ask questions so that other people will help with everything that they don’t understand, and that is how they will grow with the fundamental knowledge they are here for.

I really want to learn the basics in cryptocurrency and would need guidance from expert from this forum.
How you can in a simple and quick path inform yourself with the informations and knowledge about bitcoin after you might have read and understand the forum rules and regulations, is for you to take part in forum discussions, feel free to argue and express yourself constructively in threads of other members and their comments.

You cannot learn everything all at once, so maybe you need to calm down and take things step by step, you are already in this forum and you can learn practically everything here, all by readiing, using the search button and asking questions. There are quite a lot of complicated aspects about Bitcoin that will probably take you time to learn, so you must be patient and start with the basics, which is less complicated and easy to understand.

Since you are looking for videos to watch, here is a good one you can try:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLPQwGV1aLnTuN6kdNWlElfr2tzigB9Nnj

Yes, you are correct. Not everything you learn about cryptocurrencies at first will match your expectations. Many new members of the forum may spend more than a month asking questions without receiving answers, but as they remain patient and continue to learn more, they gradually gain a better understanding. Learning about bitcoin is not as easy as you might think, and if you rush through it, you risk becoming overly greedy with anything related to cryptocurrencies, giving the impression that you are knowledgeable enough to invest and, as a result, becoming a victim of fraud. This is true of everything in life; you must remain calm and take each topic one at a time until you fully understand it.

I'm not saying this just to support him, but based on what he said, you should understand that learning more about cryptocurrencies is important before investing in them. If you don't know much about bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies and you want to invest, you are putting yourself in serious danger, and many people are online these days just to lure newbies who don't know much about crypto currency to get scammed. So before becoming involved in any investments, I advise newbies to take a deep breath and study everything they can.

It’s good that you feel this way and have the zeal to up your knowledge on the cryptocurrency innovation and what goes on within its space. It’s been a little over a decade but, there have been a lot going on in the space and one can’t full grasp it all at a go but only follow up the happenings and acquire knowledge on it in bits.

One of the most important thing that would aid you in this journey of trying to know as far as understanding goes is having to know its terminologies.
When you get into any field, I think it’s the first thing that could aid your understanding. You need to learn the terms as it’s randomly and frequently used in the cryptospace so that, you’re not left hanging or without understating in your quest to know by virtue of a term.

Don’t try or think you can know it all in a day as, you would end up getting yourself confused the more but do the bits you can for a day and ensure you understand before skipping to the next.

I recommend you to forget about other crypto-currencies and learn about Bitcoin instead because Bitcoin is the only crypto-currency that won't disappoint you. You can learn everything about Bitcoin by visiting Bitcoin discussion and other boards related to Bitcoin on this forum.

In fact, Bitcoin is considered the most reliable and secure in the entire crypto currency market. Newbies should always learn about Bitcoin first, because Bitcoin is dominating the entire crypto currency market. Their fluctuations lead to the volatility of all crypto currencies. So people who understand Bitcoin well can easily earn profit in other coins as well. Investing in Bitcoin is good but we cannot ignore other good and strong project based coins in the market.

It cannot be denied that people have made huge profits in altcoins as well. You can take the example of the last bull season, where coins like Solana, Matic Dot, BNB, Gala, Sand, Mana have given people huge profits. Investing in Ethereum, which is the second top currency after Bitcoin, has also seen people earn fantastic returns. So I think it would be unfair to forget other crypto currencies. Therefore, newbies must take interest in other coins in the market.

Yes, Bitcoin is, it was, and it will remain the most reliable and trusted crypto=currency in the whole crypto-market. In fact I believe that the whole market exists because of Bitcoin only. I always recommend newbies to learn about Bitcoin because it's the only crypto-currency that won't disappoint them.

Although, I won't deny the fact that many of the altcoins gave huge profits to the investors in previous bull run, but so many investors have lost a lot of money due to some altcoins like Terra Luna, TerraUSD, and FTT token. The investors who invest in altcoins are always at risk of loosing everything, and if someone really don't want to lose money then the only safest and most trust-worthy option is Bitcoin.

What I need particular is a verified YouTube channel I can get an updated crash course crypto, books, website and any material or post on this forum that can give me proper guidance as a newbie.

hi OP, I hope you are healthy there, you are from Nigeria, there are quite a lot of active senior members there and I noticed that the local board from Nigeria is quite active in discussing everything related to cryptocurrencies, bitcoin and blockchain technology, you can search read about everything related to cryptocurrencies there (it's much easier to understand things when you're active on your local boards).

OP isn't being active on this thread (though he is active overall in bitcointalk), and has not responded to any of the advice being given to him. Hence we can't know which of the advice he thinks is good for him to get the knowledge about bitcoins.

I too agree that the local boards are the best place to start your learning journey as you can interact with like minded people and that too in your own mother language.

First of all congratulations on joining the forum. If you wanted to learn about crypto, you came to the right place OP. The first suggestion I would give, check the links other users already gave. You can cover most of the basics by them. Then try to read all the pinned post. In every board like (bitcon discussion, bitcoin technical, meta, Beginner), you'll see post pinned posts right on the top. Read them all, you'll get the basic idea of how everything works. For me, I used to read posts, read comment, observe what others are doing. I still do this. Even though, I'm reading for hours it's still not enough. If you want to learn only about crypto, then bitcoin section is perfect for you.

Before doing anything, literally anything, you should consider reading all forum rules, so that you don't violate anything.

If you have a lot of time, read this book. One of my favourite.

If you really want to learn about Bitcoin then this is the best place for you to learn about it but if you want to learn about all crypto-currencies then you'll have to do your own research by reading books or doing online searches on Google about the crypto-currency that you're interested in and you want to learn about it.

There are many YouTubers that share their insights about different crypto-currencies but you'll have to find those yourself because someone else's advice can be wrong and you may lose a lot of money by investing in a useless coin that will go zero in value.

I recommend you to forget about other crypto-currencies and learn about Bitcoin instead because Bitcoin is the only crypto-currency that won't disappoint you. You can learn everything about Bitcoin by visiting Bitcoin discussion and other boards related to Bitcoin on this forum.

If you want to learn about Bitcoin in detail then you can create your own thread and ask about that thing from the users of the forum. If you're someone who wants to learn via books then simply go with a Google search "Best books to learn about Bitcoin," and you'll have all those books that can help you to learn about Bitcoin.

Why not - they can ask in the comments column what they need to ask, but of course sometimes content creators can't answer all their audience's questions. Other knowledgeable people may try to provide explanations - but youtube is not the only means to learn about bitcoin.

I agree the bitcointalk forum is one of the best tools to learn and discuss something you want to learn - even technical questions. You may need to develop your own independence instead of relying solely on others - this includes reading more or doing something like practice to get better knowledge.

Good knowledge references for learning are here: https://github.com/bitcoinbook/bitcoinbook#chapters

I'm new to the forum and so far I'm beginning to understand the structure of the forum but my challenge is that I don't really have enough knowledge on crypto prior to now.
Understanding the rules or structure in this BTT forum, in my opinion, is a very good first step. Because by understanding the structure of this forum, in the future it will definitely be easier for you to find posts that contain the information or knowledge you need, especially regarding crypto issues. So it's not a big problem if currently your knowledge about the world of crypto is still minimal or minimal. Because by joining this forum it means that you already have the intention to learn and increase your knowledge about cryptocurrency. Apart from that, to be able to join and discuss in this forum, it doesn't matter if your knowledge about cryptocurrency is still very little. Because sooner or later your knowledge about cryptocurrencies will definitely increase.

I have done a bit of research on YouTube but the information their is a bit confusing as it's more theoretical and I doubt the once I have seen is updated lately.
If you feel confused, learn about cryptocurrency by watching videos on YouTube. Maybe you still can't focus when watching the video. Because in my personal opinion, even watching videos on YouTube, if you listen to them seriously, can really increase your knowledge about cryptocurrency very significantly.

However, if you really have difficulty understanding the lesson from a video, it would be better for you to try other methods such as reading on this website or forum. Because as far as I know, everyone has different comfort regarding their learning methods. So just try it, seriously contribute and seek knowledge about crypto on this forum.
