I'm new to the forum and so far I'm beginning to understand the structure of the forum but my challenge is that I don't really have enough knowledge on crypto prior to now.

I have done a bit of research on YouTube but the information their is a bit confusing as it's more theoretical and I doubt the once I have seen is updated lately.

I really want to learn the basics in cryptocurrency and would need guidance from expert from this forum.

What I need particular is a verified YouTube channel I can get an updated crash course crypto, books, website and any material or post on this forum that can give me proper guidance as a newbie.

If you want to get knowledge about cryptocurrency especially here in the forum, then you need to start asking specific questions about what you intend to know. The forum is like an open Market where you can get any crypto information you want. However you need to take out time to read some of the link been shared  by some of the members little by little and  your knowledge and  understanding about crypto Will be broadened.
No doubt YouTube can give you some videos about cryptocurrency but here on the forum you will meet people with real life experience about crypto and they can advise you on what not to do. Try to also make you follow the forum rules by ensuring that you read them and memories it within yourself.

You have made the right decision by choosing to join this forum. If you don't know much about bitcoin, I believe that you will learn it here. YouTube won't teach you more about cryptocurrencies, but if you join this forum, I believe that you will find the answers to all of your questions and be led in the right direction. because many newbies will simply enter the forum and begin asking questions without conducting any research or making any effort to learn. I can therefore state that by joining here to learn more about cryptocurrency, you have made the proper decision. You will definitely get what you deserve in this forum.

Since no one is perfect, we must learn from people who are more knowledgeable than we are. This forum is the ideal place to learn a lot about bitcoin. If you keep doing your best to study on this topic, you will eventually learn. Don't be afraid to ask questions about anything you don't understand.

First of all, welcome to the bitcointalk forum, mate.

I don’t know what kind of method you use when you want to learn something quickly. Maybe it's the video, or you prefer theory. I could’ve advised you to leave YouTube videos for now, as you're still new in the crypto space. And the fact that you are already in a safer community means that you can learn everything you want to know about cryptocurrency here. The only thing you need to do is don’t rush learning; learning is a gradual process, and if you calm down, you will get the knowledge you want on the forum. If you don’t understand anything, ask questions. The forum members are always here to help newcomers. YouTube videos won’t help you as much as you wanted because they won’t go deep enough that you will understand them well.

You can watch videos about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency on YouTube, but they will only teach you about the basics, most of them won't really dive into it, and if you are trying to learn trading, then I don't really think YouTube is the appropriate place to go because most of them are just going to mislead you. Most of those people on YouTube are just looking for views and subscribers, they will only do things to attract people's attention. If you notice most of those videos, they will only show when they are making a profit in a trade, which will make newbies think crypto trading is really easy, and whenever they lose, they will never show videos like that, which is really misleading to newbies because they will always have the mindset that they can never lose when trading, but when they start trading and they start losing, they will get frustrated.

If you easily want to learn about bitcoin and cryptocurrency, then you can easily learn that here on forum because you are going to get the real information here, no one is going to deceive you here, and you won't be asked to pay for any information that you will be getting. Just be ready to read, ask questions about things you don't understand, and I am sure you are going to learn here.

First of all, we welcome you to be a part of this forum, and let us tell you that you asked me that I don't know about cryptocurrency, so, my dear, everyone is in the same situation here. Everyone is a newbie, but later he gets some understanding and knowledge. In order to reach this point, take care of some important things. As advice, I hope the members will be aware of the rules. I will not say anything special here. So you should first read the forum rules and not work against them; work with consistency. Keep yourself informed by visiting every new thread. And. You will find mainstream knowledge in the Bitcoin section. If you work hard, you will be rewarded.

It is true that knowledge of YouTube is not enough, and there is no truth in it. While this forum confuses you with full verified knowledge, everyone on YouTube knows that people only share knowledge of their own choice without any verification, whereas here on this forum, every post is verified by a member and checked. If you are clearly criticizing the falsehood, then stay connected to this forum and enrich yourself with knowledge.

You should check the thread that they provided because that will help you to learn more about cryptocurrency and other crypto related information that you may not have know yet. The thread by Ratimov which is Beginners & Help Encyclopedia contains different topics that are suited for newbies to learn and also guides. Well, are you familiar with the forum rules already? If yes, then you don't have to worry about getting banned as long as you follow the forum rules. Continue doing your own research if you find something difficult to understand or learn.

You're welcome to the club. That was same with me in 2017 when I stumbled on this forum. I knew next to nothing about cryptos but the story is different today. Though I can't say I'm very much conversant with the technicals, I know more than a bit to keep me safe in this space. You can do better than I'm already doing with time. However, the whole thing depends on you, not on any random guy here. Roll up your sleeves and get to work. Research is your best bet to growing fast in this industry.

Yes, I agree with you that YouTube can be confusing to source learning materials from because of the numerous materials there. You're likely not going to know where to search or who to follow there at once. For me, I don't just hop on YouTube to watch people teach. I follow these people from other social media sites (especially, Facebook) to their YouTube channels. First, I monitor whatever stuff they're trying to put out there. If they're good at it and have a YouTube channel I connect with them. That way, I know what I'm looking for and how to get them.

Their is something important to learn and understand in the forum as a Newbie, basically some people who come to bitcointalk majority doesn't know about Bitcoin and with observation and precautions they have obtained the knowledge of bitcoin, one thing in this forum is that you most be curious and also be observant so that you can speed up in learning and understanding the rudiments of bitcoin in this forum, the technology of bitcoin is something you can learn through a research.

But what I will advice you to do as a Newbie is that you should try to be reading almost a the post that is pinned by moderators across other boards especially in bitcoin discussion board and technical board, so I believe in bitcoin discussion is where you learn most of things concerning bitcoin and it's wallets and technical board will elaborate more on wallets in which is it's good and advisable to ensure you have comprehend the knowledge of bitcoin very well.

You won't get a complete understanding of cryptocurrency from YouTube, you need to explore the subject outside the YouTube platform to get a complete understanding. You are currently connected to bitcointalk forum this forum is very important for you because you can gain a lot of knowledge about crypto currency from this forum. A new member has to put in a lot of effort, a lot of hard work as well as trying to learn about cryptocurrency. When a new member has a lot of interest in learning, that new member will learn a lot. Work again with as much as you can learn about a new subject. And try to remember the things you know. Try to learn about different subjects gradually because you cannot know all subjects at once. Moving forward with specific plans, I hope that difficult things will become easy for you very soon.

It's a little bit ironic that you're claiming to have not enough prior knowledge on crypto and are asking for guidance when your very first post is a letter to Bitcoin wanting the price to reach $100,000 soon.

In your second post, you once again opened a thread. This time, you wanted to discuss about the lessons from the previous bull markets. And you even seemed to have provided some tips.

Your third post is again a topic you wanted to discuss. It's like a lecture on Bitcoin and its misunderstanding.

I wonder how you ended up opening another topic this time, wanting to learn the basics in crypto. You seem to be one of those suspicious newbie accounts.
a friend introduced me to the forum and because I was yet to understand how to create an a account, he helped with the account creation process. I don't know if he has made a post before handing the account to me but if you go through my post, you will notice that it was more of trying to figure things out and becoming familiar with the whole structure of the forum

I have never used AI for any post, I try to be as neutral as possible and although I wouldn't deny the fact that I would want to be merited for making a post, my main motive had been to learn as much as I can.

I haven't given the OP neutral feedback yet, but all of his posts seem very similar to using AI tools. I am also surprised by his claim that he knows nothing when we can see his early posts. OP, you have already put forward all your topics for merit; is it possible to find out that there are two people on your account, one of whom writes literate posts and the other pretends to be a newbie?

How similar? when I check the OP's post to any Ai checker the result is human written not generated to AI.
Do you have any tools that we can use to know if its AI generated text? maybe I can use the tool in the future once I found someones 100% human written post to check if its actually human written or not.

I have done a bit of research on YouTube but the information their is a bit confusing as it's more theoretical and I doubt the once I have seen is updated lately.

Youtube and the forum as well will provide you with theoretical knowledge of crypto. Its your own wish to either chose to practice or not. Having theoretical knowledge is the first stage of learning after all because without the theoretical knowledge you wouldn't know where to start the practical from. You just have to focus and concentrate on the theory aspect before you think of anything practical. While you're eager to learn about bitcoin, I would advise you to keep calm so you will not fall victim of those that claim to offer crypto class training on social medias with some money. YouTube channel is not completely free from these scammers likewise the forum.

The good thing is that you're here and I assure you that you're in the right place to have this knowledge you are craving for. A lot of thread and link to some reliable sites have been recommended for you in the comments section, you should follow up with them and I believe you will learn something out of it.

Theory without a combination of practice will not work perfectly, it doesn't matter if you look for Cryptocurrency information on YouTube or other social media, it will increase your insight into Cryptocurrency in theory. Here you can be directly involved in discussions with people who have mastered most of the knowledge about Cryptocurrency. The seniors will help you direct you to the things you need to learn which will enable you to master established knowledge.
Bitcointalk forum members will always welcome newcomers who want to learn Cryptocurrency, never be embarrassed by them, if you have anything you need to ask, then ask immediately, they will answer your questions and direct you to the things you need.

There's a lot, and I suggest reading every topic that has been pinned on every section because that has informative content.
However admit that sometimes be careful of what you have read here in the forum, you should find support before you will believe in it.
Joining different communities for crypto discussion would be a great idea too.

Here in the forum, you can start learning "Terminology" right after the forum rules and guidelines.
