I'm also starting to feel scared for you, Tom.

Not only for the ASICs. But for the wall of FPGA hardware you have.

Does the insurance company reimburse the lost income of ASIC buyers? Just saying...

i have no idea how to respond to this

You will store $100K+ of fpga/asic hardware at this location.

Someone can rob you by throwing a stone through your window.

Why are you posting these pictures ? Do you want something like this to happen ??

.ps I ordered so I'm just worried, nothing else.

Why is it so damn hot in here?
Tom has hired me to stay at the new testing/packing location.  If anyone feels like trying to rob the place, I suggest you bring several people.  I carry a M1911, and will probably bring my AR-15 as well.

i'm working on a solar powered idea but it wouldn't be a 'farm' since i won't have a ton of them, but running these things for free would just be fantastic

It's a cool project but it's not free since you have to pay for the solar panels, batteries, inverter. Go for it if you think you can produce electricity at a cheaper cost than you pay for it. For myself, I don't think I can beat $0.055/kWh.
Plus, you need the sun. Quite rare over here.

Out of almost 900 orders I have only had three such requests and I have a waiting list of people from the second batch who are itching for a spot in the first if you dont want your space in line there are people who want it desperately.

We are almost there my friends, hang in there Smiley

im out for the night remember I will be available all day tomorrow and will be returning emails and taking calls

thanks again for everyone's support and good night

Tom

I've one on order in the second queue, once I see comments back from the first guys, then I'll be looking to slot a few more in.
Pity I missed out on the first queue, because i'm planning a solar farm + Arm control board(or repurpose my XUPV5 FPGA to an open sparac)+ WIFI leach.

Some guy in China has given me a good price on a 1KW solar+ 1.5KW inverter/400 Amp storage unit, what I don't use I can push back into the grid.

Then get it written up on  the blog.

We reserve the right to not do business with whomever we chose.

Refund policy is as follows:

You can request a no questions asked refund at any time up until board assembly starts.

When production starts we will give notice and a one week window to cancel your order and receive your refund.

All mining units include a one year warranty. Simple fill out the RMA section of the site and send the unit back for full replacement.

How'd you do that so fast? I've heard it takes 14 days to update notices on websites.

yeah the webdev guy copied it over from the old site - that policy referred to ModMiner Quad sales and still does as a matter of fact.

thanks for pointing that out so I can fix it.

...also I want everyone to remember our refund policy. If you have any doubts what so ever about the bASIC line of Bitcoin mining devices or if you need a refund for any reason at all please do not hesitate to email me and request to cancel your order.

That seems at odds with the "Terms & Conditions" page on the website:

Quote from: bitcoinasic.com
Due to the nature of how we buy the parts to build these units, once an order has been placed and payment has been made - the order cannot be canceled.

...

We do not issue refunds however we do offer a full 1 year warranty.

Maybe the page needs updating?
