While odds matter, I don't think it is the most important thing to consider. I don't bet on sports by just looking at the odds. I look at how a certain team or player could perform and probably defeat the opponent. That's regardless of the odds. Although the moment I place the bet, I'd also be affected if my choice is a huge underdog. I might reconsider my bet at times. That also happens when my choice is a big favorite. I might not go for ML. I'd rather look for attractive handicap bets. But I don't really make odds the primary consideration.
But have you bet on low odds before, a kind of match people will think it is 100% that a certain team would win, but no match has 100% probability that the strong or the better team would win, it can be drawn or it might be lost, but the probability the match will not favour is very low but can be the what would happen. I too do consider low odds before, I have even gone for 1.02 odds several times before in the past on in-play matches and 1.05 on some prematch staking, but with the look of things and the experience I have, I have changed my mind to only consider high odds, a bet having at least, 1.5 odds.
Which one I prefer depends on my current mood. I prefer low odds when I want to win. When I want excitement, high odds are nice. Years ago, when I first started gambling, I always preferred low odds. Usually I was winning and I was used to gambling that way. Thus, over time, my money increased and I started to prefer high odds.
I think you have not finished this, you were using low odds, you were winning, but when you are using high odds, what then happened? Still wining or now losing?
