If I have to invest on alts i'll go with the lower supply because some alts that have a big circulating supply doesn't have a max supply which can affect the price in the long run. On the other hand we have Bitcoin having a big influence in the price of every single alts so high or low supply it shouldn't be a big problem. Also low supply doesn't always mean it's a good alt you still have to consider it's usefulness.
So do i mate because lower supply has more opportunities of growing past as we have learned this from bitcoin with 21,000,000 limited volume this made the coin more valuable specially when supply and demand occurs
Bounty hunters are more concern to have high token supply than low.
More hunters just want to have big tokens from their participation neglecting the fact that sometimes high supply once didn't succeed it will be adjusted into low tokens to be given base on ICO unsuccessful result. Some hunters know what is the most important the product and the clear future of the project.
So why this thread turns specifically for the bounty hunters?wasnt this a generail question?Bounty hunters dont care about the supplies whts important to them is to he paid and not for scamming

We have some more factors to decide if we prefer low or high supply. For me first off all utility of the token is more important then token supply. A good coin must have a good utility purpose in addition to good market volume.

When it comes to picking your altcoins, do you take into consideration coin supply?  And if so, do you prefer high or low supply coins?
I always look at current market cappitalization and future total supply, if the blockchain project is going to release a lot of coins in the future, it will mean that the price will be massively dumped! So I prefer low supply Wink.

I prefer low volume supply this is to ensure that there will be demand for the coins if it becomes popular and the value or price will go up, the best supply for me is 100 million, some ICO burns the remaining tokens that are unsold this is to minimize the supply.

No, I think it's irrelevant. Low supply means high individual coin price, high supply means low individual coin price. Supply is only relevant when linked with coin price... i.e., market cap.
The only relevance I can see for supply is current circulating supply versus total potential supply. The lower the percentage that is currently in circulation, the more chance there is of price dilution, i.e. reduction.

Personally, it seems to me coins with low supply will be able to bring good profits in the future, despite the risks!

There are more important conditions than supply. But if I had to choose, I would have chosen high supply coins. Because of the value per coin is lower and to get profit is more easy.

When I entered the space, what we do have at most was 100 million tokens at most, but the greed in most of these developers came to play and we start having 1 billion, 10 billion and more. I do ask myself why are they doing this but  and conclude to pump their coins and influence the price of the coins. I am for low supply at most 100 million and developers not holding more than 20% of the total token supply

I prefer coins that have a low supply. Because these coins are more competitive and they are more likely to rise in price. On these coins, the expected income can rise exponentially.

Low supply and a low price, is what I look for.  Since if both are low, the market cap is low, and therefore there's a great potential for it to moon.  This is why I recently invested in EVOAI.

I don't think coin supply is related to the growth but I do prefer low supply coin as they're easy to maintain. I don't prefer seeing 2 gazillion token that are worth 2 cents but thats just personal preference.

I prefer to have low supply coins because I think if the project is really great and perspective, so the lower is the total supply of tokens, the bigger price is. There are so much projects with 4 billion total supply that are simply worth nothing.

If it's supply we are talking, then I prefer to buy low supply tokens than those with high supply. Considering the supply and demand law, if the token has low supply then it has a higher chance of rising it's price or it would have a high price compared to high supply ones.

You should go with a token that has a purpose, its what makes its demand. But I'd probably go with cheap and high supply because it only means I can have a lot to trade just like traders do with doge and ripple. Its a matter of how to make money in all trend.

Low supply coins give much value creation but we have to consider many other things before selection of any coin. Low supply coins always in demand as everyone wants that coin in their portfolio due to value creation.
Don't agree on the last point. If they were in huge demand they wouldn't be low-supply.
With low supply coins people are generally looking for hidden gems. More often than not, this strategy does not work.

Though there are other factors to consider in choosing an altcoin to invest with. But limiting only to these two options: high or low supply and considering other factors are.the same, I'll pick the coin with low supply because that would mean it is a rare coin. Rare would mean high demand that would lead to high price.

I always diversify. A big portion of my crypto portfolio is allocated in big cap coins (e.g. Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash) and my most promising coins are low cap such as ALQO, Lympo or ECOM.

Low supply coins were absolutely amazing in 2017, because everyone bought everything and low-caps were generally easier to pump.
They were not the best coins around, but they brought the best profit.
Outside of bull markets - I'm not really sure about that.
