tokens that have very high prices, but have volume usually come from shit tokens and projects that exit the scam and yes the reason for the ride is that there are some holders who want to entertain other holders by tricking them because I'm sure many token holders like this still want to sell it at a high price.

Why would anyone consider trading or investing in coin with no or low volume? That coin can be sold to some newbie who don't
know how to check is there any volume on any exchange for that coin. Bottom line is that those coins are used for scamming
people around.
Some coin will never reach higher prices, investors should be aware of that fact. Choose your investments wisely and try to do
at least some basic research.

It's back to square one if you are holding a coin or token for long term and finally altcoin season comes and the token or coin surge in value but has no trading volume on exchange, all your efforts and pain while holding is total waste, do not hold tokens or coins that have no demands, real use cases are what makes them very demanding

No choice for my bounty tokens, but to hold it until market for altcoins will soon recover. I don't when it would develop at best expected price, but what I am aware of its community to rise from the dead. Currently the market tries to recover few hours ago for Bitcoin, and I don't know how long will it takes. I also heard from a friend that based on McAfee's predictions 12 months projection bullrun would happen, yet it's not confirmed and I loved to hear from others opinion here.

That is a market manipulation that is very easy to guess, I better put on a large volume than having to set at a high price.
But most people prefer higher prices than first seeing the volume, often with new users.

High price but no volume is purely price manipulation.
We've seen so many cases like that, hopefully we've learnt from such situations, I don't hold coins with low volume.

There is this coin that recently started in a decentralised exchange recently, the coin was trading at $1.2 apiece but there was no single decent buy orders and the total executed order wasn't even up to $2, it was as good as useless to me, the name of the coin is Enkronos, this made me conduct a little research and I realised that there are lots of dead coins with no volume but are still trading in exchanges with good price.

This post should serve as a warning to investors, you should always be careful of what you purchase to avoid tears in the future, always ensure that any coin you purchase has a very large volume which is why it's encouraged to purchase only the top 10 coins to avoid stories... Atleast you wouldn't be hearing anything about lack of funding or scam exit.

I agree that holding coin with low volume is really dangerous. I also have an experience with low volume coin, i was in trouble when i wanna sell those coins. The trading volume is too low, if i set order on sell wall, i can only set < 1% of the coin i hold, if i set more then lower sell wall will appear. I so annoy and i want to sell all of them on buy wall to get money instantly, but it cost me 30% current balance.  Undecided

This is bad situation for us, every action we use is useless. I can say that because already has this bad experience, I try create fake buying transaction using my money and sadly, all coins sold out but I got loss in 40% because using buying bait. The solutions is try sell it using social media ( user by user ) or use it to get referral ( give away ). I prefer use it for that purpose because if I keep saving there's no chance my money will come back.

What is unfortunate of them is that they are not optimally involved in registering their projects in exchange which can actually have a greater positive effect on their tokens or coins. They prefer to register for cheap, even free, bad exchanges and the team no longer cares about community complaints because they feel they have kept their promises to be registered on the exchange.
The various reasons can be the main factors why those small coins can't listing their coin to the big exchange site. Just like this:
lack of the liquidity, lack of the development progress, no result after the development progress and many more. not all of the projects are having all of the requirements to register their coin in a good exchange site.
So many projects that are still undervalued but volume becomes the main problem as the traders are doing hit and run for profit.
When a project can keep its development and that will be dead.

because of this I always recommend holding top altcoin. one of the reasons I suggest that is because top altcoin always has a large volume. does that mean you hold a coin that has a high price but does not have volume? I think it's very easy to make the price of the token a dump.
however, you need to think carefully before you invest. make sure you know what you are investing, from development to market conditions.

I think everyone of us has a different reasons or goal why we are holding any of the crypto project token or coins, honestly speaking its very hard to identify which projects is good and has a true potentials that will create demand in its early days of existence (ICO,IEO days), because it was only "an idea that was merely written on the plain white paper," and we cant be sure if the team or developer will continue to developed those ideas that was written in those whitepaper! to deliver a live product or services in that case we are just speculating and hoping the project tokens/coins will be gaining value in the future. that's why for me its very difficult to choose that was my opinion!

yes it's very sad op coins that don't have trading volume will become junk coins or shitcoin. for what coins have a high price if no one buys those coins. trading volume is very important for the sustainability of coins in the crypto market. in addition to being able to last long in the crypto coin market it must also have real uses and also a large community.

A resolution that i made moving into 2020 was not to hold anything that does not have its own blockchain network. Most of these altcoins are just a pump and dump game that team used to drive investors towards their coin but little did do they know that this can last forever. Hold coins that have a real ecosystem to keep the inflation of the coin in check.

It depends on what exchange you are looking at.
Maybe they are just listed there but not really supported much.
Is this coin you are talking about listed in a known exchange?

I understand where you are getting at here.
Some of the coins out there are useless. (that might be the right word for it) They just have no usage at all but they have a value.
Most of them are old coins.
Let us say investors are still holding the token thinking there is still a future for it.
Even though no one is trading it, its value will not weaken immediately.

It is logical to not hold coins that have no demands.  Those who have high price but no volume are just manipulated by the token owner to make it look  expensive.  Do not fail to this kind of trick. Token with value have high demand from investors.

Yeah that's ups and downs of investing in crypto is always full of surprises that are sometimes unexpected, for that always think twice and re-analyze to choose and hold altcoin in the long run. If it's right, do it. The coins you hold are your choices which of course you have analyzed yourself. So you are ready with all the possibilities that occur in the market.

The intended coin clearly will never have volume because the developer as the biggest holder is also waiting to sell it all without a buyback clause, if from the start their plan has failed by prioritizing distribution offers that are too large without looking at other aspects that attract market movements, then the coin will deadlocked, of course would be very detrimental to all parties who hold it.

Right, so this must be good in its development strategy because if there is a large distribution offer, this will cause a big dump in the exchange so that the coin has no liquidity in the market, so what the team proposes must be really wise so that all holders can receive benefits so it is not in vain for the holders.
That's where we have to see good developers because they themselves will determine in the market later.

If we hold tokens that don't have volume then it would be nice if we continue to monitor the development of tokens if it is still feasible for us to hold for the long term or even if we release them and leave the tokens, but if the tokens are very slow in its development, then it would be better if we leave the token because the risk will be very large.

Lol. If a coin have no use and so no demand it will never have any value. Yes it can have today value that is made by promoting that coin with the money you gave them for the coins you have. Why would something useless have any value?
the value of a coin depends on the buy order in the market, sometimes the coin has a high price but there is no volume because they have no more buy orders and what is left is only sell orders that I usually experience when getting coins from airdrops and from Givewey
The buy order will determine the value of crypto but it should be matched with the sell order to create the real value for cryptocurrency. They have not volume and what was happening there just a manipulation that already created by the team or whales to play the market only. That looks very thing to happen with a coin.
