I think that education is always very important but the educational situation has drastically changed today.
The amount of knowledge and information is changing much faster today than ever in the past.
That is why formal education become quickly obsolete and employees must constantly learn and accept new information and knowledge.

I agree, Many students nowadays keep complaining after they finish their school because they study the things that they cannot apply in the real life. They've wanted to learn techniques and life hacks but the education system don't allow them to learn that. Higher education will be so effective to the children that wanted to show off their true skills and ability.

I think there is a lot we can learn about ourselves, society and the way we question things in the world. Higher education might not get us exactly to where they 'intend or plan' but it will lead our curiosity more into things we may have never knew existed

That’s a very good point. Some also say, the most successful people didn’t even achieve so much with regards to their education. I don’t believe in school systems either, numbers do not measure a person’s intellect and knowledge. We are all different and we excel in our own unique ways — if only the society can see this, sadly no. Educational attainment is important in some countries, it is a basis if you’re qualified for a job or any responsibility. I think it’s good but the common problem is discrimination of the attainment plus the attended school. Some employers offer higher salary to those who went to prestigious schools, rather than give them to employees whom are scholars at public/unknown schools. Anyway, just remember, whatever you achieved, be proud of them. I heard the idea of creating a network of online universities around the world that will help poor countries to enable their residents to get an education. I think this is a very good step. I think yes, some knowledge and experience will remain, but it is better to minimize such an effect and learn more disciplinedly using it. By nationality, I am a Hindu and when there was an acute question about where to go for specialization, I found good option for studying in Ukraine. As a result, I entered Kharkov National Medical University and became a doctor. It was an invaluable experience, which is why studying in the university is important.

The biggest mistake I made while in school back then was focusing on what interest me the most instead of reading the junk to be among the best in exams.

Oh, those essays! I've been trying so hard to make good ones but the result was always the same - teacher gives me bad mark and I really don't understant where is the problem.
