You need higher education in this life. It is because that is what you need to get a decent job. Having a diploma makes it more easier finding a job than to be a high school graduate or undergraduate.
But, we did not know those people that are currently on the top. Like Jack Ma, Steve Jobs and many billionaires that didn't finished studying. Sometimes, we only need is a good shot on business or even an idea could make a change. But, being resourceful is one of the things you need to have.

Higher education or education in general became a business. It's not about knowledge anymore, like in the far past, but about titles, certificates, and many many graduations levels. The only reason people keep doing more and more courses it's to justify receiving a higher wage later.
That is why I think higher education nowadays isn't so important.
But of course it's important to pursue a goal, to pursue knowledge, in a manner it will affect and improve life on the practice.

A lot of it depends on what you want to go into when you are older. Going to college wasn't really a choice for my. My parents pretty much put me on that track because they didn't go themselves and that is what I did. I don't regret it, but it didn't necessarily get me any farther ahead in life. I have a friend that has zero college and she is the manager of a successful title company. She makes more than my wife does and my wife has a Masters degree. If I hadn't went to college, I probably would have went into something like HVAC technician and I would probably still be making more than I am today. I know people who are doing the whole apprenticeship thing to be an electrician or plumber will be making huge amounts of money when they are finished.
For me, creativity and experience are important than degree. I think degree has become a formality. But fortunately, the practice is taking a back seat.
Both are important,though they say that experience is the best teacher but degree will give you the opportunity to brighten the knowledge and mastering each part of the said field 
I do not think that higher education is must have. But it is good to train your brain, because you will be disciplined to learn for few hours without a problem. Content wich higher education provide is mostly outdated, but there are exemptions from faculty to faculty, and from professor to professor.
Overall, if it is expensive for you to have a higher education, then it is not worth that much. It is better to find job without higher education and learn something that it is interesting to you ONLINE.

This degree is more important if you work in a company and want a promotion or receive a decent salary. Honestly, I don't have this but I feel it's really necessary, I am enjoying my crypto life now and I don't have plans to go back in corporate world.

Higher education is necessary because, through this, children get to know which stream or path is right for the next education. with the help of higher education, children/people get their broad ideas and mentally get strong.

Of course higher education is an important thing to get a good career. Many people don’t care about education, it seems like they’re not aware how important it is. But i’m not saying education is everything, i just think it’s very important. For example, we love to read some stories about the life of successful or rich people, some of them are not educated well and yet they reached their goals in life. I don’t know if they were just lucky or not.. but the real life is hard so we have to work hard to show our best if we want success.
Those rich people you are talking about with no high education did not become like that because they were lucky. Of course, some of them did but most of them got there because they knew what they wanted and they worked very hard for it. That's all this is about hard work and I will tell you something here very important : hard work always beat talent. In our country, higher education does not matter. If you got a higher education but you have no experience then you will not get a good position. And how can you get experience if no one will take? vicious circle
