I would honestly say yes for the 'higher education' experience. I wouldn't be who I am without all of the connections and amazing professors I had the privilege of learning from .

I'd say that it's really important to get a degree. That way it's much easier to find a well-paid job. But it's not that important to study as hard as possible while you are in university. I mean, you can miss some classes, find top-rated custom essay writing services like this smart writing service and use them, you don't need to get best grades always, the main point is just finally getting a degree.

Agreed. "D's get Degrees"  Grin Grin Grin

it depends on what you want to do. Most of the trades (plumbers, electricians, etc.) provide great-paying careers and dont need a higher education; especially with many millenials considering those jobs as "beneath them".

If you want to work in research, sciences, or anything that requires a very specialized backgorund, go for higher education. With the legalization of cannabis in Canada, alot of cannabis "experts" are coming out of every corner of the country, but alas, no one will take them seriously because they have no scientific or research-based background.

Even business and entrepreneurship is a grey area with how many resources and reputable online classes that are available to the public. As long as you have a solid portfolio, your educational background shouldnt negatively affect you.

But you also have to consider the intangibles of a higher education: critical tihnking, dealing with people of different skills/cultures/specializations, emotional intelligence, networking, learning how to deal with crazy debt lol, etc.

knowledge matters not the higher education

Then google should be the most wise and smartest system on Earth. Isn't the knowledge just a tool to extract wisdom from?

You don't need higher education in order to make a job you like, or to get rich.
In fact, specialization (=education, higher or not) in a specific profession could limit your opportunities as you will be focused primary in what you've learned.

However, knowledge to many of us is an inner driving, to learn what makes the world go round and why.
You don't need degrees and certificates in order to achieve that.

Do you really need a Degree these days?
If you had to do it all over would you go to college?

This post is ancient but I have a strong conviction about this topic.

Your question is about entitlement.

If you intrinsically value being educated, and I believe you should, then higher education is only a means to get close to other smart people.
The internet can handle the heavy lifting of learning.

As far as career success, your diploma is a stamp of credibility from a branded institution.
Sadly, it's possible to buy your way in and out of Harvard.
It's also possible to get a full ride and go homeless.

Life is volatile. Education, strength, wealth, health all help hedge your risks but there are no guarantees.

If you feel the gravity of this you will not care about this question anymore. You will be charged, able to begin focusing on what it takes to get what you want and not the parameters that other people arbitrarily set.

Education is important to each and everyone of us but i think even if you have a degree if cannot apply it the education you attain in life is useless , there are many successfull people around the world that do not have a degree in education but their life is successfull because experience now is more important to live in this world.

Though there are very rich people who did not really get a degree in college and some have not even been to college but have advanced in life, I still believe that if we have the opportunity, we do need to go to college. Higher education can be a foundation or a stepping stone to a more stable and secure future though sometimes the profession we have at the end has nothing to do with the profession we take in school. But still, knowledge is power and if we have a degree, we can have options.

For some people, education is very important and even a priority because nowadays education is a benchmark in a job. I also have the same thoughts. Education is a stepping stone to success. Why? Because a degree can make us more valued than people without titles.

This means TITTLE HOLDING and it is very important to have since you can use this as tools whenever life brings you.Being Properly educated is one important thing every people must have not because you can only earn much but you can have respected personalities (if you apply this truthfully)thats why we parents are doing our best just to bring our children’s in good schools for the future

Honestly I think it totally depends on what you'll be doing, if its anything in blockchain and you're a devloper you probably don't need a higher education degree

If I went in time to get a higher education, now I would live on the street.
So I chose a job that I can do and which I like, in which I did not need an education

I think degree is just a requirement for job and nothing special with it because you don't need to use the subjects you studies in college or university as well. I think people should need to furnish them self with short certification which are demand able mostly now as days.

IMO, it depends on the sphere you're going to work in.
If it's medicine - of course, sport comentator - haha it's all about your intelligence and wit
I have a psychology education and it helps me even though i don't work in this sphere

It’s not necessary if your goal is to earn money. But the only way to become a professional for example  in medicine or engineering is to go to college and to study.

Even though there’re exemptions everywhere, it is clear that people or students with higher education can earn more money than without it. On average, workers who previously studied for two years in college earn $ 8,000 a year more than school leavers.

Yes, I need it, I think it is necessary, although sometimes I am too lazy to learn, but I understand that it will give me something more in the future. Getting higher education gives others to understand that you are a professional
