I'm still waiting for them to credit 1.84 BTC which I sent to a bitcoin cash address. Might not be something that belongs in this thread but I've been waiting for quite a while. There's someone with similar problem that has been waiting for nearly 40 days.

seeing reports like this makes me more confused, a lot of problems that have happened and can not be quickly resolved immediately.
whether there is no faster solution that can be done.
I am also problematic but from two problems can be solved one, and its value is not like this.
sympathize with BoXXoB, hopefully it will be resolved.

i had transfer 14600 trx never received to my wallet! I read also other rewiew about these scam website

There are issues going on with TRX deposits as they claimed that they're facing problems crediting end user accounts who sent TRX through direct contracts. Now, to what I feel, they should be given the required time they're asking for - 24 hours. They literally wrote it over the exchange that they're experiencing issues with ETH and ETH token deposits and they will have everything resolved in 24 hours. I was even worried about my withdrawal as I thought that just like others, I'm scammed too. But they've sent it. The only problem here is, they send a big batch of payments with a small fee which is somewhat shady. The worst part - they never answer anything over chat. And take more than 24 - 48 hours to reply through email support too. They are not scam ATM, but likely to be in future if this will continue to be their constant behavior.

My colleague sent me 80 XRP one month ago, and all XRP are lost.
Hitbtc changed my destination tag soon after I sent it to my coleague, and I don't know where are my XRP coins now, the only thing I see is that my destination tag is changed/different...
No answer from support, no XRP in my account.  Undecided Undecided Undecided

Instead of sending whatever shitcoin to a shitcoin exchange directly, you should first do some proper searching whether or not it's safe to make use of that service. It's always the same, people first need to get burned in order to do research. If people do research first for once, they will suffer far less from losses and other inconveniences. Hitbtc has a pretty long history of bad reputation, which seems to have gotten worse this year. It's either them not being able to cope with the increased user activity, or they don't know how to run an exchange, which in this case both options seem very plausible. I don't believe that they at this point in time have the intention to scam people. It's pure incompetence.

I see like that, I have 2 BTC transactions that I want to witdraw but stuck and not sent.
the only one can be traced and sent back rich and I repeated again and succeeded, but for the other until now has not been able to be resolved.
there is goodwill of HitBtc to fix, but not yet maximal.
I am still waiting for the remaining and faithful for this.

theyve tied up my USDT since yesterday and making me lose money..can not move it to trading account, or withdraw it. cant do anything. when i sent the money there was no warning that it is under maintenance etc. seems like from their forums it has been that way for a few days. unbelievable, who will compensate me for losses caused by them? they have done this to 1000s of customers just now..

I never had any issue with HitBTC in the past, even though it's been a while since I haven't made any trade there but if they have started with issues like Yobit in the past then it's not good and we should move our funds somewhere else.

They've just come up with a new scam!

HitBTC Charges Users a Fee of 0.0003 BTC to Deposit Bitcoin

This sucks, this remembers me like depositing money into the bank while some banks charge when depositing, but whats the point charging fee on deposit and charging fees on withdrawal, and charging fee on trading, everywhere only fees fees.

Seems it's time to not use btc into this exchange.

An update to my case:
I have received a response from HitBTC and my transfer has just been confirmed.
There is no explanation or apology just a notice that their engineers have fixed the issue and that is it.

I reluctantly conclude that I will probably not use this exchange ever again. Good luck everyone!

HitBTC is indeed one of the shadier exchanges and I would suggest staying away as fas away as possible from it. Don't send your funds into their exchange!  I used it before and had some problems so I wrote to the support but my ticket is yet to be answered even though a few months have passed.

oh no! i was using hitbtc this past few months.  Now i am seeing many scam accusation.  Hopefully you will resolve all of your issues or else this big exchange will turned into scam.

They are not scam at all, i have never used hitbtc as an exchange in order to trade bitcoin for any other crypto, but far as i know they are not 100% scam.

In fact, i traded some Dimcoins a few days ago for ETH and i succesfully withdrew them all to my eth address without any problems at all.

Maybe there is something wrong with this, they have a lot of issues right now, but they are still paying.

So, what are you saying? Just because you did not have problems with them, the others complaining here are wrong?
Are you working for HitBTC? Can you help me regain my funds if I give you details? Can you help me get in touch with the support? Can you give me information about the owner of the exchange or their registered entity and contact information?

No? Then what are you talking about? I'm not interested in you having successfully withdrawn your funds. I'm just interested in my money illegally taken away from me.

I also got the email accusing me of scamming. I would be more than happy to be part of a class action suit.

class actions work when there is an actual existing company, not with unincorporated scammers operating from an appartment in an offshore jurisdiction

hitbtc is a scam

This exchange is going to exit scam one day or another and that will make Mtgox looks like a joke
hitbtc is under investigation by a huge number of law enforcement agencies
they will be shut down

It is the shadiest exchanges i know to date

- Fake company name
- no corporate registration / totally of the grid
- no offices
- whois hidden by panama based whoisguard
- huge ressources invested by hitbtc to elude investigators researching the company, with complex network of fake entities, company name usurpations, fake people, etc..
- almost non existent support with fake names
- faked volume by a huge extent / bot generated markets
- too cheap miner fees which results in transfers stuck in limbo for days (for the lucky one who actually get some money out of it)

Their business model is based on selective scamming; they let a number of payments go through based on a automated selection made by algoritm and withhold others either for days, weeks, months or forever.

They let some payments go through to create confusion among people who cannot figure out if they are a full blown scam or just incompetent and understaffed
, and keep their scammy business going, but also to elude "withdrawal tests" made with small amounts, to draw larger sums into their exchange

A certain percentage of the funds never leave the exchange; and some are only returned months later, when the exchange has been able to buy the coins at rock bottom price and pocket the difference, since most of their books are fake

I can't tell whether they are scam or not. All I know there are plenty of evidence of shady dealings and other malfeasance that has angered many people including me.
At very least, they are unprofessional and incompetent. They took a fat transaction fee but my coins are locked in 'pending' withdrawal for who knows how long...

HitBTC, I just want my money back. Or is that too much to ask?

i hope you're going to recover your funds

I'd be you, i'd never sent a dime anymore to this exchange; it is suicidal
It's like sending money to an anonymous stranger on a forum, and hoping he'll return your funds
