I confirm, people should stay away from this shady organization
They work very hard to hide their ass and usurpe company names, they hide their whois...
I will never deal with this fraudulous exchange again and think they are a huge exit scam risk

i am personally in contact with many people who have been scammed and never recovered their money; i have myself been screwed having my funds held for weeks without any valid reason and no communication or any response to ticket from the support

This exchange is fucked. Cannot move tokens to trading accounts and cannot withdraw.

I'm guessing they got hacked and are scrambling to accumulate tokens to pay back customers. Or they're exit scamming. No communication on their end other than the vague "We're having technical issues".

how does this thing work

Lets say i withdraw from Hitbtc to a wallet, and there are no confirmation in the wallet after many days.

And the wallet address were right and the wallet is not a scam wallet, so everything should be fine.

In Hitbtc payment history the transaction is with these three yellow dots, and will it be like that forever ?

Ok, so were are the coins ? who is steeling them, i am just not understanding how these things works.

If someone were going to steal them, would they not steal them when they would arrive in the wallet ? how can they steal the coins on the way to the wallet ?

I'm still waiting for them to credit 1.84 BTC which I sent to a bitcoin cash address. Might not be something that belongs in this thread but I've been waiting for quite a while. There's someone with similar problem that has been waiting for nearly 40 days.

1. I made withdrawal of SCL from Cryptopia to HitBTC more than 1.5 month ago. It was successful on blockchain. But HitBTC didn't credit me with it. Tickets  #105273 and #44750 have no result.

2. Today I was so uncautious that made another transaction towards HitBTC:  sent 66,274.559 TRX to my HitBTC wallet. It is successful on blockhain and didn't show up on HitBTC again.
It's the second time i lose money. Ticket #114334

Are there means to force them do something?

I was trading on hitbtc for several months, however since christmas I' m not able to move several funds from my main account to either my trading account or withdraw them for more than five days now (which on the crypotomarket is a long time!) did cost me several thousands of dollars, if it is not a total loss - beware of hitbtc, has turned into a supposed scam!

I do not use HitBTC but I see a lot of advertising in social medias regarding this exchange so I thought this to be one of the good exchanges. It is the wave of the bitcoin price being really high so many websites related to bitcoin, exchanges or cloud mining sites who many people think are real like Hashflare are playing a few tricks, who falls for this tricks falls. Do not forget to keep only the minimum amount of bitcoins in exchanges as exchanges can be "hacked".

I don't matter about what's the advertised rumors about it mate, and if your referring about using Hitbtc as not legit well I can definitely tell you that hitbtc is a reliable trading site. I've been trading for years and yet no problems encountered to them, maybe other newbies and scammers had been doing such failures of transactions on their accounts of hitbtc that's why some were claiming frustrations with the site itself. Hopefully after reading this comment of mine everything will be clear for you and you won't think about it negative so that you will have another profitable trades with hitbtc, as those coins having more trades activity might be an opportunity for you in the future earnings.

I don't know what happen to them which they do made such actions and also I have observed that there are lots of newbies above posting positive feedbacks which is really opposing on the sites performance or status as of now.I have problems on Hitbtc previously but luckily they did able to resolve it but seeing on some people who do have same experience on me until know they aren't resolve.

I also do not understand how many problems are not immediately resolved, making many transactions stalled and not finished properly.
until now their team also do not give news and news about all this, so add many become confused.

To help gain media attention, I would suggest Ripoff Report dot com - This will put you #1 on Google ranking for hitbtc - use keywords in title, description as well. Great site. add pics. videos, Hitbtc responses and any evidential info to back each claim like you're presenting it in a court of law. Powerful site!

i dont know much details about this case but all exchanges have rights to cancel trades if somebody executed at unfair price due to technical problem. But communication from exchange blaming the customers is not right.

All of you who lost your funds or had your withdrawals blocked on the exchange, please leave a report in this thread.
We are trying to draw media attention to this issue and have already contacted a few news agencies.
If you have any contacts in any industry related news sites or if you run a blog, forum, twitter or a facebook page please help us to spread the word about what's happening on HitBTC. Post your links here, and we will retweet/repost them.
This situation shouldn't go unnoticed! This is our money! WE ARE THE COMMUNITY AND WE MAKE THIS INDUSTRY WORK, NOT THEM!

Details:

Many of us had been following Micromoney (AMM) for a long time, waiting to buy after it got listed on an exchange. HitBTC was the first larger exchange to list AMM. Just after it was listed, the price plummeted, and nobody could explain why. Many of us were frantically buying/selling, not knowing what was happening.

After a few hours the price was almost zero, and it was obvious something was wrong with the code. Several users alerted HitBTC through support tickets and the chatbox. But HitBTC said nothing, and AMM trading was left open for several more hours. The Micromoney team informed us that they had been trying to contact HitBTC directly by phone, but nobody was answering, and there was no official response or communication from HitBTC. Trading was left open, despite numerous warnings from MicroMoney and customers that something was wrong.

After some time HitBTC issued a statement saying that there was a mistake and that all cases would be resolved personally. But today, HitBTC sent out an email saying:

"Due to the malfunction caused by fraud all trades are deemed illegitimate. As you committed trades and supported the fraudulent course of events, the amount of AMM bought will be written of from your account and no refunds are to be made."

So HitBTC is blaming the fraudulent trades on their customers, the same customers that tried for many hours to warn them something was wrong, and that they should stop AMM trading ASAP. But they didn't stop the trading, despite all attempts to warn them something was wrong.

And now they are blaming us, the customers, and our money has been withdrawn from our wallets.

Is there an update about those who have sent an email to [email protected] ?? whether their money has been refunded .. I have sent email and proof of my transaction but until now no results at all. I think it's useless because they do not do something.

Yeah, I got a message from micromoney support, saying they will look into it, but nothing so far...

HitBTC continues to deny responsibility...

So about Ripple, rNUyxNugxv67vhQZZCif2Ru1Hb4APNmwUS - Poloniex account that receives all withdrawals from hitBTC wallet(300k+ per transaction). Also hitBTC address has only 88k ripple on balance.
