SOME NEWS / Contact at MicroMoney for those concerned with AMM issue :

Please send all proofs, screenshots and csv concerning your loss during AMM mess (How much/purchase in ETH-BTC-USDT/balance/withdrawal by HITBTC staff) to :

[email protected]
Is there an update about those who have sent an email to [email protected] ?? whether their money has been refunded .. I have sent email and proof of my transaction but until now no results at all. I think it's useless because they do not do something.

The best thing to do for now is to contact directly the Micromoney support team to find more clarification regarding on this issue, and you will surely not find any good information since some of the comments here are base only on speculation, But I want to know more on whats happening since luckily I select to hold my AMM on my wallet.

hitBTC is not crediting my deposit of SUB totalling $10K. Has been 2 weeks already. They are not responsive on any venues. My view is the communicty should make them stop operating until they do the firefight https://www.reddit.com/r/hitbtc/comments/7kzkrt/hitbtc_stopping_their_ongoing_operations_needed/

I think they may be a scam. My bitcoin hasn't been transferred in 4 days and counting. They seem to get everyone's transactions stuck in limbo. Even coins that are fast are stuck forever and don't seem to get to the destination wallet. I'm not exactly sure how they do it. How does this work?

They make sure to be out of reach but they aren't; if you want to find them you will

This is what i found in 3 minutes of internet research:

Not sure what it is worth, but that’s a start

« According to the official narrative HitBTC was built by HIT Technologies LP in the United Kingdom, while operated by Ullus Corporation K/S in Denmark. Ullus Corporation K/S is registered in the Central Business Register of Denmark under company number 35852492, but this company has ceased operating in 2015. Hit Technologies LP has company number SL016208 in the UK business register, and is registered as a limited partnership. According to the history the limited partnership has been dissolved in 2015 too. According to the legal section of the HitBTC website services are provided by "HIT Solutions Inc". A registration for this company couldn't be found at all. Altogether, no currently active business registration could be confirmed. »

though there is the thread about permanent 520 errors on kraken and bitfinex now. this exchangers industry is so unstable  Undecided

Kraken is aware of the issues and blame the rapid growth for the faillure on their part, which is understandable to a certain extent, but still amateurish. I get it that an exchange can't instantly adapt to the rapid growth we have gone through, but an exchange as Kraken should never ever be this incompetent. Not sure how many people have left to find a better performing exchange elsewhere, but one doesn't need to be a rocket scientist to understand that a non functioning exchange isn't something you want to make use of any longer. Bitstamp is a great exchanger with a proven track record of being far more reliable than all these other pathetic exchanges. And please don't sign up at Bitfinex, it's an exchange that at some point will implode with their Tether garbage.

wtf i just wanted to register on this exchanger which was probably for the best unavailable all the day and now this thread... thank you for informing the community all. first bittrex now hitbtc... what big exchangers still has clean reputation?
It's not just this thread. If you do a quick search, you'll see how many people are complaining about this exchange, and that for quite a long time now. This exchange has never had a spotless reputation, which usually is a bad sign.

Bittrex was quite a decent altcoin exchange, which I am also using, but due to the regulations they are subject to, thousands of accounts have been blocked for no reason, which is a shame, especially in current times.

Bitstamp, Coinbase, GDAX, Coinsbank, are quite capable. Kraken is an exchange I would recommend as well, but they have experienced a lot outages which is driving people nuts. Think good before signing up somewhere.

thank you for the list!
at the first place i was going to register on hitbtc because of ripple and monero, so i've picked kraken as soon as it has both of them on trade. though there is the thread about permanent 520 errors on kraken and bitfinex now. this exchangers industry is so unstable  Undecided

Hi Guys,

Can you withdraw from hitbtc now ?

I can't withdraw ANY crypto currency since about 2 weeks now... !

Support doesnt' reply to any of my ticket since 9 days too.

I think people are explaining about the AMM, so they are paying withdrawal to other altcoin. How it is possible few people are very positive with this exchange and many companies after ICO they start listing HitBtc only.

i was moving my coins from hitbtc and it just came in, just took very long time for it to arrive, strange..like 48 hours

Same thing happened to me with a withdrawal a few days ago. Took well over 24 hours, but it did eventually come through. I didn't withdraw ETH though, I was withdrawing BTC. They're definitely having some issues lately.

IT'S NOT ONLY AMM!!!
IT'S NOT ONLY AMM!!!
IT'S NOT ONLY AMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In fact the defrauding happens at all kinds of coins and tokens of HitBTC, including which are not based on or related with Ethereum!!!

This is my examine result:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/hitbtc-is-suspected-of-defrauding-users-assets-2551767

your case is almost the same as the case of my close friend
but my friend does not really care about his money, because the amount may not be as big as yours
from the case, I became scared, because my money was partly in HitBTC. and still sitting in orderbook
do you have a solution?

Its a pity that exchanges like that are not taken down by regulators by now.

In most cases these exchanges know what they are doing, where in case someone wants to battle them legally, they either don't stand a chance, or the amounts concerned aren't worth any further legal actions. That being said, people for once should stop being so greedy and just sign up somewhere because it offers this or that shitcoin or investment plans, etc. If you sign up to a shitcoin exchange, which is well known to be so for quite a while now, you'll be subject to each and every negative aspect of that exchange, where eventually you'll be losing funds instead of gaining them. These exchanges exist because people keep signing up there and continue to use them, and that with far better alternatives being widely available....
