But if I'm not wrong they got a very high withdrawal fee for some altcoins right?

That's the reason I brought and hold coins for a while and then sold it for a profit and convert those coins to bitcoins and withdrawn to my account. That's why I go there only to buy coins which are not available in other exchanges.

That is what so many people say.

I never used HitBTC but many of the people who have cite their bad customer services and high fees as a reason to find another exchange.

If you can get coins from other reputed exchanges then it is better to avoid Hitbtc because support is not good if you face any issues. I didn't trade on this platform for quite some time due to these issues like withdrawals delay, high altcoin withdrawal fees and suddenly coins disappear from your wallet. If no other choice then you can try your luck but don't deposit a big amount.

I heard similar things. HitBTC customer services are reported to be not very good either.

Just don't use it as a wallet for the storage of your coins and you'll be fine. I do regularly use HitBTC for buying a few alts (not trading), and never face any issue(s); deposit, buy your coin, and withdraw it; it's a bit risky to sleep while your funds are in HitBTC's database, so don't do it and you should be fine.

They charge more than 6'000 IFT (300'000 Satoshi or 9 Euro at current prices) for the withdrawal of a ERC-20 Token? WTF!!!!
Yobit charges 0.05 IFT. So they charge the 12'000 x amount of what is necessary. The only amount of work a HitBTC employee could have with it, is that he approves it (if it doesnt work fully automated already), as i have already entered all necessary data like withdrawal address and amount.
That means they enrich themselves from exaggerated withdrawal fess.
I would say that is some kind of fraud. As soon as you have deposited, you have no possibility as to pay their impertinent fees in order to get your money back. Of course 95% of the people notice the fees not before it's to laste. If they don't want to reduce their fees they should at least warn their customers before depositing (an respectable honest person would do it). The claim of "Low fees" on the first page of this announcement is a lie and should be changed to "low trading but impertinent withdrawal fees".
Do they have a feedback email address? I would like to send them my feedback, although they already should know.

In addition to the abusive fees, exchange is infested by bots, and for those who still trade manually this is a major disadvantage. I stopped using it for a long time, I have a token deposited, the price has dropped so much that if I withdraw, my balance can be negative ... Grin

https://blockchainmedia.id/hitbtc-turunkan-lot-perdagangan-dan-akan-buat-trollbox-berbahasa-indonesia/

ok its good that you lower the lot sizes and will add indonesian language to the trollbox. but then, lot sizes could be smaller than ever (i just tried to sold 0.00005 BTC for usdt and it went through), but the withdrawal fee dammit. you guys should change the entire fee structure and be damn competitive with everyone!

Huge taxes and frequent Delistings of small coins without prior notifications.
If a coin had no other exchange all your investment is lost after delisting.  Angry
What is the point of trading of a small coin here if you suddenly can lost all your money at any second ?  Huh
Most terrible exchange after Cryptopia!

I compared the transaction fee of some exchanges like bittrex, kucoin to Hitbtc and I consider that of hitbtc terribly ridiculous high, some in the tune of 13x. More of an extortion with fake volume. Most of the orders are also fake and the prices are low, there is no reason to ever use the exchange if one has alternative. Have read it everywhere but didnt believe until I checked myself. They really need to review this if they want more users.

I've tested the mobile application (as a tester) of HitBTC (it's not public yet), and they've done a decent job in developing it. The only thing which I hated the most in it is the accessibility of the account through API keys instead of username/password. Other than API login, everything looks perfect.

Without reading up further notice but still making deposits even the wallet is on maintenance and now they blame the exchange?  Huh

They mostly do it to earn some profits from an "arbitrage" opportunity. They:

-buy cheaper at X exchange to sell for more at Y exchange (seeing buy orders of better values at that Y exchange)
-then realize that the coin isn't even available for withdrawal through X exchange
-finally, bash that X exchange and eventually sell it back for an even cheaper price; they ultimately get into a little loss instead of a little profit.

Before arbitraging is a good way of earning quick profit. That was before when bitcoin transactions are around 10k sat to 20k sat. Now it is higher and altcoins too. HitBTC probably got the worst withdrawal fees on altcoins.

About $15 flat fee on withdrawing SENT from HitBTC: Lips sealed

Since the 08th of November the withdrawal of Tezos Coins (XTZ) has not been possible. Is there any information until when the withdrawal problems will be fixed? I do not like to leave my coins in the wallet and I do not want to exchange them and withdraw in another coin as some here has already proposed for other withdrawal issues.

now it is possible to transfer XTZ to the trading wallet. i sold them and was able to withdraw the BTC.
i will never use this exchange again.
