good people please tell me how you manage get high speeds on this hiveos? im getting 19mhs with rx570 8g. oc set to 1150 core 2050 memory.

I think you will need  to flash the bios of RX570 that has custom strips before you can able to mine with around 30mh/s on etherium mining.
thanks for reply. Is there another way to get 30mhs like used to do in claymore strap thing? no modding the bios. if i flash my cards on hiveos will it remain permanent?

Hello, and good morning all;

I am curious if anyone else has experienced this issue that I am currently having.   I've benched marked my card with Haven and a few others and it seems to be working as it should.  But once I put in line on my mining rig it drops down to 92 Watts and will only do like 11.7 mhs on eth for example under Linux. And I am un-able to push it higher from what I can see.    Under windows I am able to raise the power to 117%  under master and get closer to 30 Mhs.   I just for the life of me can't figure it out, has anyone else experienced this?  I would love to be able to use the full potential  of my card.

Also under HIVEOS is there a command or something I can use to force the card to operate at a higher Wattage rather then reduce it's power consumption?

Also running on Asus B250 Mining Board.  Pretty sure the bios is 1206.

Thanks for any responses.

Under Hive OS is there a way to force the card to use more power, like you can in Windows using MSI Afterburner?

What's new?

SYSTEM🖥
⚙️ Improved gpu-stats (improved reading metrics from AMD GPUs)
⚙️ Improved API servers fallback (removed hardcoded API hosts; added repository URL to net-test)
⚙️ Improved amd-oc (added an alternative method that may help for some Polaris GPUs when core voltage stuck at 1000mV)
⚙️ Improved nvidia-info tool (added filtering by GPU index and bus id number, so you can call it like nvidia-info 4  for GPU4 or nvidia-info 05:00 for GPU with bus ID 05:00)
🐞 Fixed Nvidia GPUs VBIOS flashing (improved Nvidia driver unloading; fixed communication issues between agent and latest nvflash)
🐞 Fixed empty hashrate on too small values (e.g. on cuckaroo32 algorithm)
🐞 Fixed autofan (always set PWM mode before FAN speed which could fix for AMD R9 without FAN set in OC)
⚙️ Other small fixes

TeamRedMiner v0.7.22 (rewritten ethash kernel for Navi, now should now be more stable and use less power; slightly reworked init procedure; added Claymore compatible API, see the '--cm_api_listen')

Did you try editing PhoenixMiner under the Tuning tab? Try under Extra config arguments.

Already done it seems it works like pill it still can't improve to 50mh/s for gtx1080ti.

Do you have recommendation to improve hashrate or even just power efficiency?
Other recommendation from hive dashboard doest eork either.

NBMiner v35.2 (added DAG verification on ethash after creation, if miner showed log in red font: 'Verification failed, invalid 2.0%', please consider lower GPU overclock)
CPUminer-Opt by rplant v5.0.7 (added dynamic US and RU2 stratums for sugarchain and microbitcoin; DoH switched to google, now miner starts faster; bug fixes)

Do you guys know how to apply -straps on this OS?

I can't seems to find where to add this "-straps 1" hope someone could share idea if where I can add this.
I just want to disable the pill and test the -straps for  phoenixminer.

The other thing is why claymore doesn't work on nVidia GPU?
Tried to switch to PhoenixMiner to Claymore.

I use HiVEOS, and use 4 x 5600 xt cards.  the only miner I can run that is stable is teamredminer.  I really would prefer PhoenixMiner 5.4 but each time I do, each of my 4 GPUs error out immediately and say this :

Allocating buffers failed with: clCreateBuffer (-4).

then the rig reboots.

If I run on teadredminer the rig is stable.  Any idea what could cause this to be unstable with PhoenixMiner but ok with teamredminer?

Can I run Hiveos to hdd with 250gb/7200rpm?

I only have 4gb usb flash drive but I after I extract the USB img its around 7gb that's why planning to install it on my old HDD.

That should work fine use HDD Raw Copy Tool to extract HiveOs image and make sure drive is selected as boot device in bios.
